Incredible food! We ordered the vegetable butter curry and chicken bhindaloo with sides of plain and garlic naan. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We had it delivered and everything was still hot when we received it. It all tasted great. Just enough spice balanced with amazing flavors. The portions were filling. Extremely disappointed with our experience at Everest Bistro. The staff mocked my girlfriend, which was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. On top of that, no one came by our table even once to check on us, take care of us, or make things right. Good service is basic, and basic respect should be a given. Instead, we felt ignored and ridiculed. This was uncomfortable and unacceptable, and it completely ruined what should have been a simple dining experience. I would not recommend this place based on how customers are treated. read more

BOMBBBB. Did a pickup order of the tikka masala level 3 and a garlic naan, and it was amazing. Portions and tenderness of the chicken is fantastic. Of the many new additions to the Mountain Island area - this is one of my favorites. Everything has been flavorful, fresh and feels authentic. The menu is pretty ample so I feel there's something on the menu for everyone. I loved all the vegetarian options. My husband tried their lamb dishes and the meat was tender and well cooked. The naan is to die for - try the garlic naan! This local business is really killing it and deserves alot more love in my opinion. 5 stars. read more

There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The server was polite and attentive. We decided to do the lunch buffet for $18 per person. We had such a great dinner here! My husband, our 3 year old son, and I were really impressed. It is a family run restaurant and you can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping everything clean and welcoming. The food was fantastic, by far the best Indian we have had in the area. A lot of places make one curry base and call it different dishes, but not here. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and unique. The garlic naan came out hot and fresh, and the service was quick and super friendly. It makes me sad to see how one bad review pulled down their rating, because this place absolutely deserves more love. We went this past Sunday for their 11:30am - 3pm lunch buffet. It was amazing. The veg samosas, veg pakoras, saag paneer, and veg biryani were all perfect. They brought some fresh naan out of the kitchen to our table and everyone was so nice. I cannot get over how good the spinach in the saag paneer was. While I understand that sometimes the time and attention for buffet items are often not there, it's a grand opening and I was hoping to sample some options to try off of the regular menu. 1. About 8 hot items mixed salad and some sort of salad dressing, mint and something else I didn't try. 2. Nothing wowed me, it was just okay, something to eat. I've had other places like Indian palace in university that are far more impressive in my own opinion. 3. By far the best Nepali/Indian food there is in the area! We came on a Sunday afternoon and ordered off the menu, although there were plenty of people enjoying the buffet. We spent some time in India and Asia, and the flavors here are authentic. Our food arrived quickly, and was hot and flavorful. Level 4 spice is good for the curry if you want something with a little spice but not hot. Most restaurants don't sell cheese naan; there cheese naan is amazing! I enjoy a good Indian buffet and Charlotte doesn't have too many of them aft-Covid. I went on 9/9 for lunch around 1pm for the buffet. Food was good. Not too many people, so I enjoyed my time. That evening, I could barely move. I didn't think nothing of it, actually thought I was coming down with a cold. Stomach pain, headache, fever. I went again on 9/14, kinds of late. 1:50ish buffet stops at 2:30, but that evening the same symptoms arose. I'm typing this from the "throne." Unfortunately I will not return. Heard about this new restaurant from a coworker talking about how good the food is and thought why not check it out? They were right! My family and I had previously stopped by this place and had a great dinner. This second time around (take out), wasnt as pleasant. I walked in around 3pm, they only had one couple dining in. Krishna came to the register to take my order while he was on a phone conversation. I started telling him what I wanted to order, and he completely ignored me, making the phone conversation more important (which he had on speaker phone). We were greeted with friendly faces today at Everest Bistro on their opening day! The three of us had the lunch buffet today. Offering salad, yogurt mix, some type of what I think was rice pudding, 3 sauces, naan, white rice, fried vegetables, tandoori chicken, Masala : Chicken chicken, paneer, mixed vegetables, Nepali fried rice & chowmein. We all thought the food was DELICIOUS . My favorite was the chicken masala - that sauce was flavorful and YUMMY - especially with the warm naan !! It was a good deal for $14.99. Even your response shows your lack of care for your customer. Calling me a liar is out of order. I stand behind this review 100% describing my actual experience there. The food was old and dry and way overpriced for a couple of pieces of chicken. You were rude to me and continue to be rude. Instead of attempting to work towards a solution you are being argumentative. Just like when I questioned the cost before paying and your first response was it's 79.99! I do not remember seeing the price you charged beforehand and was surprised by it. We were looking for an Asian restaurant we could frequent since we are from Asia. We made the best of our experience there and you are even questioning that. You have totally earned this bad review. Hopefully you will improve so that your other customers have better experiences. read more
