Came by Monday at 10am and the place was closed??? No answer or message, not even a 'closed sign' posted!

Is the Biscuit Barn better than 5 months ago? We had to check because our days at Lake Lanier are are numbered. Oh heck no... yes...the Biscuit Barn hasn't changed at all. Still a three table hole in the wall with a window for ordering. The walls have ageless decorations and the menu is as it was. 2 big country breakfast, one with bacon and one with sausages...2 eggs are slightly whipped because I wanted "over hard" or is it over well.....it was perfectly made the way I like it. The lovely missus has the one Biscuit with a tremendous amount of white gravy full of pepper and chunks of the porky sausage. Enough gravy for two biscuits but she is not complaining. Our meals were great with orange juice. Oh no it is past 11am and the chef wants to close. We were happy with the Biscuits at the Biscuit Barn. read more

This little hole in the wall with a drive thru window service churns out southern inspired breakfast fixings quickly & with a smile. Having eaten biscuits in the both the north & the south, my impression of Biscuit Barn's biscuit is that it's totally unlike any biscuit I've ever had before. Large golden 1- 1 1/4 inch tall biscuits were not fluffy inside but rather dense. I brought home 4 & split one to make a bacon egg & cheese sandwich. These types of biscuits make good sandwiches because they don't crumble apart on first bite. To me they reminded me of the johnny cakes served by locals in the Caribbean. So they aren't the cat head style biscuits your granny use to make - they apparently make some people happy judging by the traffic at the takeout/ to go window. read more

So a few days ago I stopped by and got their biscuits and gravy with eggs added and they were delicious! Service was great, the lady at the window was super nice and recommended things off the menu to me. She even went as far as writing down their hours and inviting to come back again. I still wouldn't get their grits, but definitely will be coming back for their biscuits and gravy. read more

Living in LA has many advantages. Running out in early AM to eat a biscuit isnt one of them (aside from few ff restaurants - not same). This biscuit will hold me over for some time. Got the BEC - it was glorious. Every aspect was on point. Large enough for two normal people. read more

Poke salad Annie gators got yo granny. Thus is makeshift, make do open early biscuit shop that Jimmy Dean would have liked. The biscuits are cat head sized and you can feel the love. Tee tiny dining room is available but 99% of their business comes round the back to the drive thru don't ya know. They have a plethora of biscuit options including the not often seen baloney and salmon versions. Ham, bacon and sausage of course. Eggs n cheese too. They've got cinnamon rolls make Little Debbie walk back to Tennessee. Fresh cold milk and can drinks along with hot coffee will wet your whistle. They've got OJ too, not fresh squeezed, not here anyway, delivered by the milk man. Cash only they open at 5 in case you do and go hard until about 11. Good breakfast! read more

By far my favorite biscuit spot in Gainesville! And that's saying a lot! Don't expect anything fancy and don't be surprised if there is a line of cars that stretches into Thompson Bridge Road. However, you can expect a great biscuit and a huge selection of biscuit options. My favorites are either a biscuit and sausage gravy or a bacon and cheese biscuit. If the drive through is backed up, I usually just park and go in to order. Sometimes the drive through line is 10 cars long but there is no one inside. There is a very small eating area inside as well if you want to sit and eat. Enjoy! read more

Biscuit Delight serves up the BEST breakfast biscuits I have ever had. My son and his family live in Gainesville, Georgia and every time we go visit them I have to have a Breakfast Biscuit from this establishment every morning. They serve a wide variety of biscuits but my favorite is the Country Fried Steak Biscuit. I also order a side order of gravy to go with it. All the biscuits are very light and melt in your mouth. In addition to the standard bacon, sausage, bacon and ham an overabundance of additional items are available such as salmon, chicken, bologna, tomato, city ham, inspired cheese eggs, Canadian bacon quickly whisk away any thoughts of apple butter or jam which are also on their menu. The cinnamon rolls are also very good. They serve BBQ for lunch but I have never personally tied it but from what I have heard it is very good. read more

This is a hidden gem in Hell (Hall) County. The biscuits are light and fluffy. They're not super greasy but also not dry. The sausage isn't over seasoned or inundated with spices like at most places too. This is definitely worth the stop. read more

Pretty decent. Went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. It's a tiny bit on the plain side - but I added some strawberry jam to mine and it made it pretty dang good. The SIZE of the biscuits, though, are MASSIVE! Definitely come when hungry. read more

Ok Biscuit Delight is not your glossy polished takeout. It is the back half of a great BBQ joint. It in itself is an experience. This is a biscuit shack that serves delight on a platter (ok maybe in a paperbag). They are always smiling and there is always a line. They move customers through quickly. They Serve Giant CatHead size biscuits. My favorite is the Salmon patty w/ hot sauce. You can get it with a "dab" (gravy). All the meats are tasty and I have tried them all except Bologna. Under $3 for most biscuits is a great deal. Trust the long lines this is the best biscuit bargain in GVille. My only suggestion is to carry lowfat chocolate milk.lol read more

Everyone in Gainesville loves this place, but I have never had a great breakfast there. It is average. We live two minutes from here and never go there for breakfast. I just don't see what the big deal is. The biscuits are a bit bland and rubbery. I would not touch the chicken. read more
