Biscuits are the best food! Friendly service, didn't have to wait to long even if there are a lot of cars in drive thru

Not the best service. Apparently when you make a reservation you should be prepared to wait. Alex…read morewas nice but Macy who was the hostess with the least not the most was less than accommodating. She thought it was " F-ing rude " for us to not expect to wait. She should probably make sure that the customer isn't standing close enough to hear her commentary. The food was subpar. They ran out of food and when someone in our party asked if there would be more brought out they responded with " no the fresh food is being reserved for another larger party". We were a party of 20 at $35 a head. That was also something that was not communicated. They told us when the reservation was made that the menu items would be available as well as the brunch buffet but that was not the case. I would not recommend this place.

I made a reservation for Mother's Day weeks ago for a party if 20, was texted the day before by…read moreMacy to confirm my reservation. We arrived and were told we had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table. We finally were sat after waiting 25 minutes for my reserved table. We then got sat down and was informed that the breakfast buffet was the only option when I was informed that there was going to be an actual menu option (this is the reason I made the reservation in the first place). The food was sub-par definitely not $35 a person. The staff was placing the food in the tray with no gloves, just bare hands. After eating I overheard Macy, the lady that had sat us, speaking to someone about how we were "just so f**king rude" because we were upset about waiting for our table. Correctly me if I'm wrong but that is the whole point in making a reservation, is so you don't have to wait for a table. I would understand if I did a call ahead but for a reservation this as unacceptable. They ran out of food and did not inform me before head that the menu option had changed. Our server, Alex, was very delightful aside from having to deal with my disappointment from walking into the door. This place was very unorganized. You would think that because it was Mother's Day they would be prepared but that was not the case. Instead my party was called "f-ing rude" for expecting service from a service place. Later I come to find out that Macy is actually one of the owners and doing the math our whole table in total probably milked out around $800 for a simple buffet and crappy service.

We were traveling through Dahlonega to meet up with a friend and I found this place on Yelp. I…read morewasn't in the mood to fight with the downtown crowd and this location was perfect. This place has many different seating options. There is a section with tables, a section with couches and comfy chairs, and rooms where you can privately meet with your girlfriends, Bible studies, or book clubs. Every member if the staff was kind and helpful. It is obvious they genuinely care about the customer experience. Now, on to the food. I took one bite of my sausage and egg Sammie on Ciabatta and seriously started laughing. I have never done that before but the sandwich was so good that it was shocking. The bread was so soft and flavorful. It was such a hearty sandwich. I love a good flight option and this one did not disappoint. I got to try all of their specialty lattes with oatmilk. This will be our new meetup place whenever we pass through town.

The atmosphere in here is straight out of a hallmark movie, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were surprised by the price, but the portion size and quality was explanation enough when we received our food. The staff was very kind as well! This is a must do for a day in Dahlonega :)

The coffee flight is $20. We chose the 4 specialities. The star gazer is a lavender drink, which I highly recommend. It's made in-house.

Cascade Restaurant is located at the top of the mountain inside Amicalola State Park. The view from…read morethe restaurant is stunning, and you'll see hawks circling the valley below. We came for their Easter brunch and had a delightful time! Our server, Joshua, was wonderful and all the staff seemed to be enjoying their day as well. The chef was closely monitoring every station to be sure each dish was replenished quickly, and the omelette and carving stations were staffed by very cheerful employees, which made the day all the more festive because of it! And the food . . . So good! None of the usual tasteless buffet food found in many other restaurants, this was truly delicious . We began with a field green salad with croutons and a nice charcuterie board with yummy prosciutto, black olives, cornichon, goat cheese, and fresh buffalo mozzarella. Steamed shrimp with tasty cocktail sauce and incredibly delicious smoked salmon, complete with tangy capers. There were two soup choices and we had the corn and crab bisque. . . delicious as well! Lunch offerings included mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and fresh steamed green beans and carrots. Next were the protein choices, which included lemon salmon, a gorgeous prime rib with horseradish sauce, and baked ham. To round out breakfast, there was an omelette station ( delicious) and eggs Benedict. Finally, a groaning dessert table with carrot cake, delightfully tangy key lime pie, coconut cake, chocolate torte, and red velvet cake. This was one of the nicest holiday buffets we've ever attended. It was busy but not crowded (so nice they took reservations) like so many Atlanta restaurants tend to be. The view is unmatched and the service and general atmosphere are top notch. We plan to be back for Mother's Day!
