Absolutely the best place to have breakfast in the morning. I love the ambience and the atmosphere of this restaurant and the customer service is impeccable.

We were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. The ambiance is modern yet cozy. The food flavorful!!! Hubs had the traditional breakfast and I had some type of grit bowl with poached eggs and wonderful sauce with a side of toast. We had signature non alcoholic beverages but had it not been so early a little alcohol would have made this drink happen more. We will be returning!!!

Came here for brunch on Father's Day at 1:30. The crowds started to die down. Unfortunately the waiter told us the wait time would be about 30 mins. We got out of there at 3pm. I wish I could say the food made up for the wait but it did not. Ordered the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles. My daughter had the regular chicken and waffles and they both had a weird mixture of Indian spices. Not sure why. Couldn't finish it. Rest of the meal was ok but the service was poor, asked for syrup for the chicken and waffles-was never received and the food mediocre at best. Had a party of 6 and forgot to take more photos. Btw we had reservations at 1:30.

I am a huge fan of the food here. The biscuits are some of the best I have ever eaten. All of the food seems to be well seasoned and flavorful. I really enjoy the Brussels sprouts and the healthy ginger turmeric drink. Yum! I thought the coffee was ok. The potatoes that I got for my side were extra crispy as ordered but were really really salty. My eggs were good! The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. Customer service was a mixed bag. Our server was friendly but a little bit distracted having forgot our biscuits and coffee refills. At the end of the meal he was nowhere to be found and then a new server said he got moved to a new table. Not a deal breaker but a little funky. I would gladly come back. Highly recommended.

I was so excited to see that Gainesville had a Tupelo Honey as the one in Atlanta had closed, so we made the 1 hour trip to Gainesville, but I was utterly disappointed with the food. We ordered omelets, no meat, but meat ended up in my omelette, so they remade it and the remake was not good, the sauce was mayonnaise base that did not work well with the eggs, undercooked tomatoes and thick airy grits did not make matters any better. I left still hungry. On the brighter side, the service was great, the hostess was absolutely amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. We liked the potatoes, and the turmeric shots were made perfectly and even though the apple butter was amazing, the biscuits were not. Will I take this drive again???? NO -lol

The food was worth the wait. We had about a 10 min wait on a Wednesday about 1p. We were informed they were understaffed but it wasn't chaos and although pretty full, it was very clean and the staff was really nice. The food was absolutely great and so were the cocktails. My husband had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and loved it. I would go back again.

Wow! This place will become a frequent place to visit for us. The food tasted amazing, prices were very reasonable and the service by Ashlyn was excellent. The Biscuits and Gravy and the Mountain Morning Bowl were incredible. The wife also raved about the flavored ice coffee. I'd go here over First Watch any day.

How a real nice lunch here as we were in the Gainesville area. We had eaten in their Asheville location before. We were seated right away. Ordered our drinks and the fried okra starter. It came out with a spicy Alabama sauce that was great to dip the okra into. I ordered the farmhouse breakfast platter, my wife the Cobb salad, and my BIL the half chicken salad sandwich with Brussels sprouts as his side. My breakfast was great. Two eggs perfectly cooked, potatoes, and bacon. It came with toast and they brought a wonderful blueberry jam. My wife loved her salad with the fried chicken breast. The chicken salad was good along with the sprouts. This location is new and very nice.

The food here is delicious. The biscuits alone are enough reason to come. On my last visit here, I had a biscuit, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp and grits. Everything was perfectly seasoned, cooked, and tasted exquisite. I will definitely be back.

Just opened in Gainesville. They are super busy so give them time to work out the kinks!! Food was good, hot and flavorful! Staff is nice and attentive. Host was quick to greet us and we did book a reservation for their opening day. Chicken and waffles were great, biscuits were mid but we did not enjoy the flavor profile of the Mac & Cheese (just preference). Modern southern vibe with elevated flare!

We were craving chicken tenders so we decided to stop in While on our way from Helen GA to Commerce. We were not really blown away but the service was good and the food was decent. Overall the vibe of the place is very nice just not a place I would come back to.

Such a cute spot! Loved the vibe. Staff were on it even with it being between meal times. Hubby and I came for snacks + drinks then decided to do early dinner after all! We tried several from the spring cocktail menu. Loved every single cocktail! Had the Brussels sprouts then shared the chicken tenders + butter pecan cheesecake. Can I just say how insane the Mac + cheese was?! Creamy with a light sweetness at the end. Cannot wait to come back!

Cute restaurant and good food! We were sat right away they have lots of seating. We got the breakfast plate. The grits are made with goat cheese and have a creamy rich flavor. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as the bacon. I love their "Bless your heart" glasses!

We have wanted to try this place for years. The couple times we tried it was closed. So today we…read morefinally made it. And it was a disappointment. There is a nice big parking lot so that's good. Walk in and see all the fish. The decor is trophy mounts and the counter has seafood on ice for you to look at. Order at the counter and they give you cups for your self serve beverage and a number for your table so someone can bring out your food when it is ready. Megan and I both ordered off the specials menu. I had the flounder and shrimp platter, Megan had the salmon Bahn mi. My plater was was one thin flounder filet (flounder are flat so that's ok), five shrimp, four hush puppies, and fries. The flounder was corn meal breaded and kinda bland. The shrimp were not shrimpy. Not bad but not good and with a thicker batter. The hush puppies were small but very good. The fries were batter coated and looked like typical food service fries. Megan's sandwich looked good but the salmon was over cooked and tasted earthy. Salmon is a fish, salmon live in in the ocean. How are they earthy? Anyway Megan said the best part of her meal was the fries. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. This place gets a lot of love but I'd eat at Captain D's for better food for way less money. My plate was $27 and Captain D's is currently advertising a fish and shrimp plate for $7. I will be reviewing that one soon.
