Look no further for an absolutely delicious lunch spot. My friend and I go to a different new restaurant every week and decided to give Biscuit Belly a try today (May 16). At first it has the same feel as a walk in and order service so at first I was skeptical. Until I ate that first bite of the Love Shack. That first bite, I was so impressed I looked down to remember what I ordered so I could order again. The second bite... confirmed the first. That was the absolute best lunch we have had yet. What a perfect morning to try out Biscuit Belly than a morning with a super huge hangover! We got here about noon on a Sunday afternoon. They were pretty busy. We hopped in line which was right at the front door. Being our first time, we picked up a menu and perused it until we decided. Hubby opted for the Rockwell Supreme and the pumpkin spice cold brew. Our son had a biscuit. I chose the Garden Basket, a side biscuit, and a drip coffee. Hubby loved his sandwich, (fried chicken, cheddar, sausage gravy, egg and bacon). He just didn't know how to eat it it was so big! My little one loved the biscuit with the butter. My breakfast was very yummy! It was an inside out omelette with caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes, sauteed spinach and mushrooms with goat cheese. It came with homefries. This was delicious! Everything tasted amazing! I can't catch a break! I found this location in Chesapeake. Folks, while sitting awaiting my order employee snatched a bag from where all the bags are stored and of course about 5 bags felled onto the floor!! Similar incident happened in Norfolk's Biscuit Belly except it was the number that fell on the floor. She put them right back where the bags were stored. Someone else said something and she collected the bags and put them to the side. Again I got the basic biscuit with egg and cheese. Rockwell supreme is the absolute best! Honorable mention to their chai latte (with oat milk). One of the BEST chais I've had in the 757 area. Love how attentive the staff is, the sweet cashiers make you feel welcomed and are always be willing to help out if you're indecisive like me. read more

Food was really good. I ordered the boozy biscuits and the syrup was sweet but a nice add. My favorite was the sausage gravy! I poured it on top of everything, even the nicely seasoned potatoes. The cheese gravy was cool. Biscuits are nice and fluffy, I would throw some butter and jelly on it next time. Bonuts with the bourbon frosting were kid friendly and nice! Also the service was great! The restaurant is set up so that you order and pay at the cashier and then the waiters will bring you your order. I chose the Rockwell supreme with some modifications. I don't eat pork so I asked for no bacon and subbed the sausage gravy for the mushroom gravy. For my drink I ordered the praline mocha. Everything was a 10/10. The biscuits were perfect and everything was tasty, especially the mushroom gravy! It exceeded my expectations. The bonuts were a sweet treat and the dips were delicious. I think we got both the cream and the berry jam. They were able to make the praline mocha with decaf coffee for me and it was amazing. Overall everything was such good quality and tasted great. Came into Biscuit Belly this morning shortly after opening. Everyone was so nice. As we were mulling over the menu, a gentleman was leaving and he stopped to tell us his biscuit was so good and just made his day! With this, we anticipated trying one all the more! Aaaaand so we did.....The biscuits were super scruuuum-dilly-yuuuuum!!! The biscuit itself was moist. I got the Goat and the flavors of the pepper jelly with the goat cheese married together so well. The warmth of the chicken makes the goat cheese soft so it's not crumbly as it normally would be. Hubby got the brisket biscuit and he really enjoyed it.
