The hype is legit. These are great biscuits! We picked up to sandwiches, the fried chicken is fresh and the egg was made right in front of us. We also got a half dozen regular biscuits to go. They were the perfect mix of light and buttery and not too greasy. Next time we will try the blueberry and cheese biscuits and hash browns. Parking can be tricky, so be patient. I've heard about this place for years and today I finally got to go. I ordered the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit with a hashbrown on the side and it was absolutely fantastic. The chicken was much different than I expected it to be but it was a welcome surprise. This is clearly the place to go for breakfast! We stopped in at 9 and the line wrapped around the whole store! As others have said, it's a gas station convenience store that sells hot food at the front. Expect your normal offerings- snacks, candy, drinks, etc. They also sell tons of merch, both with their store name and just OBX items, and, of course, adult content as their name states. They did use tiny decorations to edit the covers so children won't see anything inappropriate. The hot food items for breakfast are definitely fresh because everything sells fast! When you get to the front of the line they take your order- know what you want because they're moving fast! They make the food while you pay and you're out the door before you know what happened! They have typical breakfast sandwich offerings, like egg, cheese, sausage, bacon, and chicken, on different types of biscuits. They also have hash browns and other sides. I thought the sandwich was incredible! The biscuit was soft and not dry, the chicken was moist, and the egg and cheese were perfect. My friend said the sandwich was good. So, fill your car up with gas and yourself up with biscuits. Ordering was quick and there was a glass display case where you could see the options. There are diner style tables around the bend and there seemed to be a fair number of regulars. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the ordering process was a little confusing. Combos were offered, but there wasn't much clarity on what a combo meant. I had to order my drink à la cart at the counter and was hoping for a hash brown with the combo, but apparently I misunderstood it.
