Unfortunately a lot of trainers use aversives, especially with large strong dogs. We were so excited to find Julia, and after our meet & greet we were confident she was a good choice. Julia did a 2 week board & train with our dog while we were traveling, mainly focusing on leash skills and practicing calm behavior around exciting things. We noticed an immediate improvement, but have also been continuing to work on the training at home after our follow up. I believe it because on his last day there, he's been afraid of people, paces, flinches when I go to pet him and is a completely different dog. He used to be such a happy boy. They also refuse to let you see what is going on in the area where they keep the pups. Everything is hush hush. I asked about two injuries and never received an answer. My pup came home with a penis infection and a cut elbow. My pup will never go there again. Some of the staff is also not very nice. The manager is rude and aggressive. These people should not be working with dogs.

We have used Janice's service 19 times since April 2021 to take care of our cats when we are…read moretraveling. They are reliable and treat our cats well. We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

I did reach out today March 17th 2024..asking to pick up my house key and was advised it was discarded..after 5 years they apparently, (what I can assume because of no future reservations) discarded keys and just threw it away. I had no call to advise this was happening or email to let me know. I do not really think this is the best way to do business even with someone who only used your service once. Please rethink your practices..especially when you have a key to someone's residence. Thank you

Picked up my 6mo old pup today had shock collar on. Owner passed me on to another man who said the…read moredo not use shock collars only a beeper, my pup was jumping on other dogs so they put this on her. This small goldendoodle has a small fragile neck with the collar tight enough to push on her vocal cords. I looked it up and the collar has 2 large prongs on it and is listed as shock buzz or sound. Unknown what they did but this rangbuncious pup has been lying down for two hours.

Unfortunately, the business closed permanently with no advance notice to customers, despite many of us having prepaid daycare packages. I had just purchased a new 10-day package for $420 that had never been used. After the closure, I reached out to request a refund. Instead of issuing refunds directly, I was instructed to contact the third-party scheduling software company, Gingr, or dispute the charge with my bank or credit card company. As the business that accepted my payment, I expected Paws N Pals to handle refunds directly rather than directing customers elsewhere. To make matters more confusing, I continue to receive daycare notifications even though the business has permanently closed. I truly appreciated the care my dog received over the years, but the way this business closed and handled prepaid customer accounts has been extremely disappointing. Longtime customers who paid in advance for services that were never provided should not have to fight to recover their money. I hope every customer with an unused package receives a full refund.
