I love a good biscuit, always has been one of my favorites. We went to the south. I was pretty ecstatic to see a chain of restaurants that's based on the biscuit, the biscuit is the centerpiece. They offer a good variety of options, the biscuits are fluffy fresh and tasty. They usually have somebody on staff making the dough in front of you, which is pretty cool to watch. read more

English muffin was like a hockey puck, cheese wasn't melted, hash brown hard as well. Husbands chicken biscuit was the size of 2 chicken nuggets and flat like a pancake. The Cheerwine/Dr Pepper mix was the best thing there. Biscuitville used to be so amazing. read more

Second try at this place since opened a couple years back, no better than the first time. First time had a chicken biscuit for breakfast nothing to write home about, do remember it seemed to have been well done and made quite a while before I got it. Decided to give them a second try since they had a couple years to get it together... boy was I wrong. This time ordered a steak and egg biscuit and side hash brown casserole, again sandwich seemed to be sitting a while and egg overcooked and like rubber, biscuit only fair. There's many other fast food places with better biscuits out there and some aren't what I'd call very good either. The casserole resembled a scoop of warm dog food in a cup and probably not much better (not that I've ever had dog food) very salty and hard to identify the ingredients that were supposed to be in it. All and all I suggest you take a pass unless growing up you had a bad cook in the house and want to reminisce... Great NC breakfast spot serving in house pastries and breakfast sandwiches all day. I love the concept and wish they had one here in New Orleans. Only issue was the quality was great but the price was pretty steep for what you get. A biscuit sandwich with an orange juice is going to run you $10 but then again everything is outrageously priced these days. read more

I generally never review fast food restaurants, but I had such a great experience, I had to share. I went through the drive-through this morning and Monee took my order and helped me. She was the kindest, most thoughtful employee! She had such a positive demeanor and she anticipated everything I would need. I know that sounds silly, but when somebody puts a side of butter and salt and ketchup packs in your bag without you asking, that is so nice. When I went to ask for these things, she told me it was already in the bag. Something that seemed so small actually meant a lot. You guys need to promote her. read more

Biscuit joy in Greenville! We're talking baked fresh from scratch right in front of your eyes (ELITE TIP: skip the drive-thru to get the complete experience). Yes, they do other breakfast favs besides biscuits too, but why skip the homemade goodness? Open until 2pm only. Being as this was our first visit, we got a sample of items to try out. The biscuits were flaky and light. The waffle sandwich was spot on,as were the eggs and bacon. I'm not sure if they made a couple of errors in our order, as the spicy chicken biscuit sammie didn't have any spice and the cheese grits seemed lacking in butter flavor. I received several recommendations to try Biscuitville while traveling in North Carolina. The hours for Biscuitville are such that you need to visit them early in the day - they are open for breakfast up until 2PM. We finally got an opportunity to get lunch here on the last day that we were in North Carolina. It did take some planning to catch them before 2PM. The food was very good. I had a spicy honey chicken biscuit and sausage gravy, both of which were very good. The sausage gravy was not the best version of this dish that I have ever tried but it was very good. The restaurant looks to be very recently built. Everything was clean and in good condition. The bathroom had a line to use it, just saying. They maybe should have more bathroom capacity. Lots of parking. Friendly employees. I would be back to visit Biscuitville again if I lived in North Carolina. If I ever see a Biscuitville restaurant in my future travels I will definitely give them another try. Yum! read more

We went when they first opened biscuit tasted under cooked, it had a raw flour taste with chemical after taste. Just went back ordered same item and it was cooked right but, I could taste a chemical after taste. That checks it off my breakfast places list. read more

Went to the new opening of the New Bern NC restaurant. Bottom line, prices are very high, $5 for a biscuit. Had the chicken and sausage and egg, both were tasteless, no spices at all. my son said they are like airport food. I admit my wife is a great Chef and her cooking is terrific, but these were sub par, expensive and it took a long time to get them read more

It is always a morose occurrence to add to the human condition when one claims "southern" as part of their familiarity when located beneath the Mason-Dixon line, yet clearly has no concept of what this adjective entails. Grits being a staple of the diet are a fixture, yet this establishment is not able to create a basic, if not beloved food. One would get more seasoning and taste out of bowl of warm beach sand. The grits were as bland as dried spackling compound sprinkled with fresh shredded sawdust. The sausage biscuit was on par, but not above enough to relinquish another star for this duplicitous chain of "biscuit" merchants. Their presence looms in this area like a thick, morning humidity nestled amongst the kudzu vines. Yet, like the kudzu and humidity, there is no redeeming aspect to this restaurant. If it is indeed "southern", then it's mama should've jerked a knot in it's tail for telling tall tales and little white lies. Shameful. Long story short, they need to season those grits. read more

Ordered the breakfast platter with ham. Possibly the worst eggs I have ever had...way overcooked...reminds me of the bad hotel eggs. The ham, which is a premium price, was worse than the eggs, thin and tasteless (other than the overwhelming salt taste). The biscuit was OK and the hash brown was actually good. That, and the "reasonable" price for the OJ boosted my rating to a 2. Too make matters worse, this fast food breakfast came in over $12. I will not be back. read more

Worst meal ever at a Biscuitville. I've eaten at several Biscuitville establishments from Raleigh to Greensboro. I was so excited when they came to Greenville. However, yesterday I got the worst meal ever at the 202 Greenville Blvd location by Memorial Drive. I ordered a Spicy Chicken& Honey sandwich with a side of sausage gravy and an extra biscuit (for a breakfast meal today). The sandwich had honey POURED all over the top of the biscuit. When I opened the wrapper, honey poured into my lap and all over my car. The biscuit was soaked in honey and virtually fell apart immediately. Today I opened the sausage gravy to heat it up with my biscuit. This was the worst tasting gravy I've ever had. All flour, water and pepper and NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF SAUSAGE in it. Not one. It was 1:45 pm yesterday when I ordered my food, so I should have guessed I would get the old, stale biscuit and overly dried chicken, thus the honey saturation, but I didn't expect the sausage gravy to be this bad. I've learned two lessons: I will never go back to the 202 Greenville Blvd location again and I will never go to a Biscuitville 15 minutes before they close. Clearly they serve stale leftover food so they don't have to waste it and quality control goes out the window just before closing! read more
