My son and I went here for the first time this afternoon and it was GREAT!! Our server Leah was so polite, friendly and helpful! We ordered the fried mozzarella for an app and it was amazing! My son created his own burger and loved that option I went with the Magic Mushroom burger. We both got the parm truffle fries for our side choice and we were not disappointed! Bestie, my son, and I were in Greenville for a little shopping and geocaching and were looking for a great burger joint. I'd say we found it in Bad Daddy's Burger Bar! Our waiter was attentive and friendly, offering to help with a decision or asking if we had any questions. Bestie ordered the fried mozzarella with marinara as an app which was pretty good, with a crunchy exterior and gooey mozzarella. My son wasn't a fan unfortunately cause it had a slight kick in the breading. My son got the kids grilled cheese with sweet potato fries which were perfectly seasoned and cooked leaving the sweet potato still soft on the inside but a crunch on the outside. I can confirm that his fries were awesome! I ordered the Steakhouse Smash burger with pesto pasta salad. The burger was juicy and cooked to order as requested, with the toppings I wanted to alter and add some correctly. I'm not really sure what the sauce was on the bun, it kinda tasted like coleslaw and by itself was a little odd but on the burger it was perfect. The pesto pasta salad required a tiny bit of salt but other than that the seasonings and fresh veggies and cheese chunks were delicious. First time at this location. Went for lunch on a weekday. I ordered the Sam I Am Burger (American cheese, over-easy fried egg, applewood smoked bacon & pesto.) with sweet potato fries. Minimum wait for the food to be brought to the table. The burger and egg were cooked as requested. Liked the pesto and the bacon was great. A chipotle ranch sauce was on the side. Loved the idea of the restaurant however I have had mixed experiences here that question whether or not I should go back. First experience was really odd, and overpriced it felt. Over salted food, that didn't taste amazing. Some opinions on fries being separate from the meal they have. Or the fact I have gone twice and you can tell the difference between chefs. We ordered Bad Daddy's burger, it had bacon coated with buttercream batter fried to a crisp, two 7oz beef patties, tomato, pickles on a brioche bun. This burger is so big had to eat it piece at a time, the other burger with mushrooms all came with one side sweet potatoes fries, it was so very good burger and sweet potatoes fries, one ordered of onion rings, nice large onions. We came on a weekday with my In-Laws to celebrate an important life event and we were greeted when we came in and sat promptly, the establishment was clean and had a cozy environment! Our server came and greeted us and was very kind and gave us plenty of time to figure out our orders and read the menu. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes and was better than we could have expected. We all loved our meals and cleared our plates! We all ordered burgers as expected, but I took noticed that I was not asked how I wanted my burger, does not matter since it arrived perfectly cooked. The "sam I am" burger was incredible! The only negative was the brioche bun couldn't handle all the juicy. Moreover, the fresh cut fries with Big Daddy dipping sauce shouldn't be missed. Visited during our trip to Greenville. The menu online definitely sells the restaurant. We were a little disappointed. The queso was good. Definitely the plus of the meal. We ordered the Bistro Burger; lacked flavors and good burger taste. My wife ordered the smokehouse where the pulled pork was bland. Very disappointing in both burgers. The truffle fries lacked the flavors and taste. Was pleased to see they had Red Oak on tap. Overall, not the experience we were hoping for and we'll explore other options next time. read more

Ate at the Greenville location today the young man at the door was friendly and gave prompt service. The waitress was friendly and very nice but I told her I felt sorry for her because the service coming out of the kitchen was poor at best. I watched my burger order sit in the window for at least 5 minutes while she was waiting for the kitchen to make fries to complete the order there was no reason this should of happened as I could see there was two cooks in the kitchen and it shouldn't have been that hard to have burgers and fries done at the same time. I did notice the kitchen staff was more interested in talking on their cellphones than doing the job they were being paid to do.
