Been going to this branch of Bishops for the past six months and don't plan on changing that anytime soon. I've been Destiny's client for awhile and she's consistently helped me get a great cut every time. She's also given me great advice on my shampoo, conditioner, and product that they conveniently sell in store (at a discount as well if you bring a student ID). If you're going for a standard haircut, make sure you don't ask for anything extra that you feel would be included in the overall price that you believe would /should be included in the overall price. $29 for a short cut? Done. Ask for a skin fade? $15 extra. What a scam. $45 plus the additional tip? Unheard of - unless you are independently wealthy...which I'm not. The prices on the landing page, if you were to physically call, from their website, do not correspond with their prices if you were to book an appointment online. The person behind the desk was scrambling trying to seemingly come up with an excuse as to why they're charging the prices that they do. You would think that this information was readily available upon request?! It's annoying and rather deceitful. Last time I go there. I have been going to this Bishops location for about a year and half now and have always had a pleasant experience. This time, however, was hands down the best experience I have EVER had getting my hair cut. This was all thanks to my hairdresser Matt. He was extremely friendly from the jump and welcomed me with amazing energy. I've never had this much fun getting my hair cut! I told him about how my last hair cut (NOT at Bishops) was a complete train wreck. He took extra time to assure me that he was going to do my cut perfectly, and he definitely delivered! Chloe cut my boyfriend's hair and when we left he said it was the nicest haircut he had had in 9 years. We typically go to the great clips around the corner and he has had terrible service (been cut or injured multiple times and yelled at for not coming in " more frequently"). Was super lucky to get a same-day appointment at Bishops this summer. I have long medium-thick hair and was wanting a cut to add some life and volume. Blanca did an amazing job with my hair!! She gave me pretty layers and just made it look really nice - styled it beautifully. A week later and I'm still super happy with the cut. Let me preface this with saying that the first haircut I received here I came in with messy and unruly hair and got probably one of the best haircuts in my life. I thought I had found a regular place to cut my hair so when it grew back I went right back to Bishops to get a trim. Unfortunately the second time I went in was well below expectations. The back was cut nice but the sides were not blended very well at all. She left so much hair there that I'll have to get another haircut in 2 weeks time to avoid looking like I have a mop on my head. I don't expect perfection but making sure the sides are cut right is so basic. I shouldn't have to bring in pictures just for trims! Since the person who originally cut my hair has left and since asking for a simple trim left me disappointed I'm hesitant to come back. Chloe cut my hair , she was super attentive, patient and friendly. She asked what type of hair cut I was aiming for, I mentioned that I was open to pretty much anything as long. This normally scares other hair stylist away, but not her, she explained what she thought would look best on me, and did it. The overall results left me feeling stylish and happy. After coming to the area for university and being very loyal to my stylist back home, I was definitely looking for a place to get my hair cut reliably and with great results. Luckily I got that and a little more here at Bishops! The crew has consistently been so kind, courteous, and very meticulous with their work. They definitely have a knack for conversation and the space is quite inviting and amicable. By the end of the process, usually after a complementary rinse and quick application of product after the cut, I always leave the space feeling refreshed and bright. I've gotten haircuts from both Anita and Chloe, and the results have been fantastic and very well received by friends and strangers alike. Both of them talked through how they would do the cut, and I've trusted them to explore what would look best. I do cut my hair pretty short--roughly a 0-2 or 1-2 fade in the back and sides with 1/2-1 inch off the top--which can seem simple but does require an attentive eye. Something that I also like to have is flexibility with my hair, and both stylists have been able to work with that in ways where styling in new and familiar ways post-cut is accessible to me. I would say that the price is definitely worth the experience (reaping my discount benefits as a student), and I hope to continue to have good experiences with this crew! read more

I wanted to get a haircut for commencement and I foolishly decided to check out Bishops. It was by far the worst haircut experience I have ever had. The barber cut it wayyyy shorter than I asked for. My hair is all uneven. And, because she was looking at the register and talking to her co-workers and not looking at what she was doing, she kept poking me in the forehead with the clippers. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from going here. Go literally anywhere else. Hell, cut your hair yourself. Anything would be better than a haircut from Bishops. Now I have to get all these pictures taken during commencement weekend with this awful haircut. I've never been more thankful for the graduation caps. read more

What a cool place. I came in last week for a beard trim with Kelly and she made it a great experience. Laid back the chair for me to relax, did a slick trim, and finished it up with a hot towel and some beard oil. For those with beards I strongly recommend Bishops, and Kelly. She told me about the benefits of the product she used and I picked it up at the shop. Best decision as I have received several compliments on my beard since. I didn't need a haircut at the time, but will be back as soon as I do. As for the shop it is hip and clean. I waited only a couple minutes but was greeted immediately by Jaden and asked if I needed anything to drink. The vibe was laid back and the music videos were a memory jog. Kelly is kind ,courteous and patient. Bishops is awesome! It's similar to the price of super cuts, but with stylist who can give you that salon/expensive look. I went in looking for a reasonably priced Carmel/ gold balayage with a cut on my long, dark brown hair, and they gave me a really good price (especially when compared to other quotes I had gotten at other salons). My stylist name was Chloe and she was super nice and fun to talk to. She took her time and made sure I loved what I saw! She even styled me!
