Very unprofessional very rude I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication. After being a client, I was suddenly told that my appointments could no longer be accommodated, yet no clear reason was ever provided. I also had to reschedule previously because she failed to mention ahead of time that she would be going into labor, which left me scrambling to adjust my plans at the last minute. While I understand that personal circumstances arise, professional communication and courtesy are important. Instead of being transparent and respectful, I was met with a rude attitude and no explanation as to why services would no longer be provided. Clients deserve clear communication, honesty, and professionalism, and unfortunately that was not my experience. I would not recommend this business based on the poor communication, lack of reliability, and unprofessional treatment I received. read more

Beyond happy with my experience here. My hair girl moved and I needed a last minute apt and they were so kind to accommodate and get me in last minute. The salon and people there had a kind and welcoming vibe and I loved Aldo! But the real star, is my hair. WOW. WOW. WOW! I've been getting highlights almost a decade and have always been okay with them, but wow I'm obsessed with my hair. He was thoughtful about doing them in a way that helped brighten my face while retaining my original color and made some major improvement with my hair movement. I got my men's haircut with Dimitri, he's such a cool guy and the haircut was probably the best one I've gotten compared to all my barbers. My wife and I recently moved to Irvine a few months ago and this is the first place we went to get our hair cuts. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, at least for a men's haircut. Dimitri cut my hair and it was probably the worst haircut I've ever had. It was uneven, unflattering, and the back especially looked so out of place with the rest of the cut. I made a call and Aldo answered and said to come in and that they'd fix it, which I thought was great. I assumed Aldo would be fixing the cut, since Dimitri didn't seem to know what he was doing. Wrong. I get there and it's Dimitri 'fixing' it... Didn't fix it much at all. So I felt they handled this all wrong. There wasn't any apology, not even a pretend one. And it seemed so casual to them for me to have to go back and fix it, maybe this happens a lot there? I don't know, but we definitely won't be back, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your haircuts. read more

I was absolutely amazed by my whole experience here! I came in as a walk-in and got super lucky due to a cancellation just in time. I'm pretty sure Judith was just going to head out since her client cancelled, but she stayed and did my hair anyway and I appreciate that so much. She was so thorough asking me exactly what I'm looking for and what I don't want to see. We both discussed the way my hair had been done before and why I haven't been happy with it. She went above and beyond to ensure that I got what I wanted and I have never left a salon happier. The whole atmosphere was so inviting and the staff were amazing! On top of all that, the cost was lower than I initially expected. Typically when I go to a place with raving reviews like this, I'm expecting to pay upwards of $300/$350 before tip, but they charged $250 and did way better than any of the other places I've been. read more
