We called these guys from the parking lot of a competitor in a nearby state. Said competitor would not budge on their sky-high price. Big Sky's everyday price on the same 16' towable was over $3G lower. We drove to Bozeman, plunked down our cash and away we went. They made the out-of-state part easy. They were friendly, professional, courteous and knowledgable. On our way by, we stopped at the Billings store to pick up needed items, and found them every bit as wonderful. We were on a long trip out west and had weather trouble in Hardin, Mt. I called Bish's in Bozeman and made an Appointment for my 5th wheel. Had a torn slide topper, damaged right fender and the AC was working intermediately. Dropped it off on 6/17/2025. Several hours later, had a text and was told it was ready, and bill was $1038.88. When I picked it up was told they didn't fix the AC. Charged me $109.50 for checking. Only thing I could tell was AC was turn down to 60 degrees. Next stop I got on top of camper and removed the top of AC. The connector to the capacitor was broken. Went to parts store and got one for 34 cents. AC worked. Would never use this outfit again. read more

I ordered 3 items for our Jayco HD in person at the store - a replacement propane enclosure door, a replacement kitchen faucet and a light fixture. It took 5 months several calls and in person visits. The in person visits have to happen, because when you call no one in the parts department will answer, and when you leave a message, they do not call you back. Simply horrible. When i got the parts, the faucet will not fit, the propane door was white- not almond colored, even after i provided the parts guy the camper info. I took the faucet back for a refund, and told the parts guy about the door color. He said he had not seen a faucet not be correct and i take the door to get "wrapped" to the right color. TL;DR my husband and I bought a brand new Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX trailer from Bish's in Twin Falls that broke the first time that we tried to take it out to go camping, and it has been broken for 4 months and sitting in the service center in the Bozeman Bish's location with no progress. Bish's Twin Falls is refusing to refund us for this lemon, and the Bish's in Bozeman has been dragging their feet on getting the trailer repaired since August (it is now November). Full Story below: My husband and I were very excited to buy the Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX from Bish's in Twin Falls. We drove for 6 hours from Bozeman both ways to pick it up. The sales department was happy to sell us the trailer along with an extended service agreement without telling us that the closest Winnebago towable warranty service location to our home is 80 miles away, even though there is a Bish's in Bozeman that we told them we intended to use to service our trailer. Fast forward a couple months to the first time we try to take the trailer out to go camping. We tried to open the trailer slide out and it started making angry clicking noises, after which it would no longer fully open or close, rendering the trailer unusable. We tried calling the roadside assistance that we purchased along with the trailer, and the technician informed us that the kind of slide out on the Winnebago "breaks all the time". He was unable to help us and told us we would need to go in for warranty service. The next day we called the Bish's in Bozeman and asked if they could repair the slide. They informed us they do not service Winnebago towables, and we'd have to drive the trailer that has a broken slide out 80 miles to get it serviced. We called the Bish's in Twin Falls and after many calls and emails, got them to contact the Bish's in Bozeman to coordinate service for the trailer. So we bring the trailer to the Bish's in Bozeman, letting them know that we had a fully paid trip we could not cancel coming up in 3 weeks. The trailer was not repaired in time for our trip, so we had to spend thousands of dollars renting a different trailer so we wouldn't have to cancel. We have followed up with both the Bish's in Bozeman and in Twin Falls repeatedly since dropping it off for repair to no avail. So we started talking with the Twin Falls Bish's about the possibility of buying the trailer back, since we've been paying for it since we bought it in May (it is now November), and have never been able to use it. The sales person told me "if we bought back every trailer that we sell when it breaks, we would go broke". Every technician I have spoken to about the slide out that is on our model of trailer says that they constantly break. So now I can only conclude that Winnebago willfully makes trailers with unreliable parts, and that Bish's is more than happy to sell these to unwitting customers. If you want any support after making an investment on an RV, spend your money elsewhere! read more

Bought an RV from Bish in Bozeman 2 years ago and had minor service question while on my way to an RV trip and stopped into the dealership and a service tech came out and helped me solve the issue. They were extremely helpful and the fact that they took the time to help out without an appointment was amazing. It was without charge. DO NOT do business with these people, they are uncoordinated and not helpful at all. We bought a new Winnebago RV at the Jerome location this past spring knowing that Bish's was opening a location locally (Bozeman) and had a good reputation. The unit appeared nice enough but has been in the shop waiting on major repairs (it is unusable currently) since our first trip. As we are local to the Bozeman location we coordinated with Bish's in Jerome to get repairs done here. The two locations have consistently been out of sync and left us holding the bag and chasing them to do their jobs for MONTHS, and the repairs are not only incomplete, but we have no ETA on the repairs being done with people at both locations playing "who's on first". This entire debacle has cost us thousands of dollars and nobody at Bish's either locally or in Jerome has been responsive or helpful in any way. It's clear at this point that the unit is a lemon, and it's clear nobody at Bish's cares enough to get the situation resolved. We've been exceedingly patient in trying to reach out and coordinate at first about repairs, and now about returning the unit. Absolutely horrible experience all around. DO NOT do business with this company or Winnebago, quite clear all they care about is pushing volume and expansion at the cost of their customer. read more

Tristan in the service department is AMAZING! He is smart, kind and willing to go above and beyond to make you a happy customer! We had some issues with our new 2023 Rockwood Mini Lite and Tristan has tackled them like a pro. I tend to travel as a solo female quite often and Tristan has answered all of my questions with kindness and patience. When my tow vehicle was in the shop, he even made sure my loaner truck hitch/sway bar was set up properly. I've learned so much from him! I think everyone in parts and service is very nice & helpful. Thomas in sales was a delight to work with as well. I know this location is extremely busy and everyone is overworked right now, so the only thing I would suggest for parts/service is a nice greeting/smile when you walk in. Walked into the parts department with a propane pigtail in my hand. An older gentleman briskly walks around the counter without saying anything & I follow him to the propane accessories area. He hands me the replacement part. I ask him how much he says: $26!! I handed the part back to him and told him I will get it cheaper elsewhere . I scheduled a winterization with a repair to what appeared a refrigeration leak. There were 3 other minor recall items one of which fixed the refrigeration leak. They refused to work on the problems saying they were warranty issues and they would not get paid from the rv vendor. I told them I would pay and get reimbursed but they still refused. They were semi hostile, certainly not customer service oriented, arrogant and obstinate. I will never under any circumstances ever again set foot on their property and will likewise tell everyone I know about this terrible experience. They are so arrogant they probably don´t even care. I was asked if I needed help- yes, I replied, but I need a different size. do you have it? not in stock...So I got one, and a spare (thinking I can file it down to the right size...1/8th of an inch). The sales person said: I can shave it down for you, just take a minute. I was very appreciative and was very pleased at the customer service. A cpl minutes later they were ready I went to pay and was charged $9.00, I asked if there was a mistake, are you sure? no, no error. When we went looking for an RV a couple of years ago, we called Bob at the Billings store. He helped us find what we thought was our dream fifth-wheel. One year later we realized that we made a huge mistake, because our fifth-wheel developed frame issues and was going to cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair. The manufacturer refused to stand by their product - but Big Sky RV stood up for us. They offered us a few options, one of which was to get a new trailer at a deep discount and taking our broken one in trade. They recommend the brand we have now. We love our new fifth-wheel and have had very few problems with it. When we do Kelsie and the rest of the staff have done their best to fix the problem or find a solution that hasn't cost us an arm and a leg. We live in our fifth-wheel full time and are on a fixed income so all their help is greatly appreciated. All started well and good with an RV rental with pleasant staff and a smooth paper signing process. Started to go bad with training process. Gentleman was perfectly nice, knowledgeable, and thorough. However, the trailer simply was not ready. Propane tank not bolted down, water system empty, etc. In total, he made at least 5-trips into the shop to get various nuts and bolts and the process took over an hour. Painful start. Day 2 into the trip we run out of water, while only using the sink (no shower, no toilet). It is pretty much impossible to use 40-gallons of water out of a sink so something broken with water system. Upon return to civilization 4-days later, I have multiple phone calls from my bank. Turns out that Big Sky RV charged my card prior to return of rental (very unusual for a rental company), MORE than what the bill should have been. Consequently, this caused an overdraft on my account costing me over $240 for the time I was gone. They reimbursed the difference, however, it was too late. When I discussed my unhappiness with the representative, she simply shrugged her shoulders. Didn't even apologize. The only reason that any stars are given is that the trailer was clean and functional. read more

Please take your vehicle elsewhere. I made two trips to have a leak fixed. The second time was to fix what they did not fix the first time. I have wasted days trying to have work done locally but will do so no more. They are too lazy to go into town for plumbing parts so do yourself a favor and keep rolling to the next stop. I have never had seen worse customer service and am sorry for anyone that pulls in. I upgraded my review based on their apology. It was just frustrating making special trips, renting cars and then having things just sit. The problem compounded in my first visit when I turned the pump on the show the leak and was told to leave it on so the technician could see where it was. They did not get to it the day I had the appointment and the entire cabin flooded and caused hours of cleanup. Went in on a Saturday morning passing through town having some trouble with my slide out. They informed me that they did not have techs working, but another gentleman could help me when he finished with his customer. I do not remember their names but him and another gentleman gave me some info that might help me and when I arrived at my next stop I was able to use their knowledge to fix the problem. We had an emergency with our hitch and drove in and were helped immediately by RJ in the repair shop. They were very busy but he took the time to tell us our hitch was missing a bolt. We went to the Dodge dealer and had to buy the whole hitch and I thought we would be camping in the back lot. RJ put the whole hitch in in less than five minutes and we were on our way. In fact you will be told they are 3 months out with service appointments. If you think a technician will come out and at least look, they don't have time but if you come back they may have been able to ask one for his opinion. Stopped by here on a cross country road trip just to inquire about my broken wire on my ancient Starcraft pop up camper. I just wanted an idea of what was wrong and how much it was going to cost when I finally stopped somewhere to get it fixed. Despite having over 25 vehicles and units in cue to be fixed, one of their techs took the time in mid repair of another vehicle to crawl under our camper and tell us the problem, how to fix it, and provided us with the parts to do so. We also bought a crank from them as ours had gone missing. Just the small acknowledgement my problem with initiative and helpfulness from the staff here made my day. I had inquired at about seven other various RV mechanics on our cross country trip who offered nothing but excuses about why they shouldn't fix my camper. These guys identified the problem quickly and spent the time helping me understand how I could remedy the issue. Great job guys! If I had the money I would buy an RV from them in a heartbeat. OK is correct here. The people were nice enough but the little things that make a difference were not done. When I arrived the first person said my paperwork was not in the file and I would have to wait for another person. Then another person walked up and looked and said I don't know what he was looking at but yours was the first paper in the file. Then I went to get my camper and they had set my block on the camper so I could not hook up the trail. Back to the office. They sent a forklift out to pick up the tongue while I put the block under it. Hooked up the camper and thought I should take a look inside. They had to replace the lights under warranty and I found they never cleaned up. The mess was not bad but under every light was the pile of debris from changing out the lights. I tried to schedule an appointment online but after two days called and got an appointment in two days. The day of my appointment I got an email asking about my service request. read more
