Our steak was 1.8 kg and it was a lot of steak for us but we also ordered a few different pasta sides as well. The steak was nice and juicy and was cooked perfectly. Our server was hilarious and he explained the menu completely to us. It is a nicer restaurant, so everyone was dressed up a little bit nicer and was out here to either enjoy some thing or celebrate some thing. Eventually we loaded up our order, but the only thing that really matters is this: I ordered the Filletto di Scottona alla Griglia cooked medium rare... although I'm convinced that's the only way they cook steaks in Italy. That plate hit the table with a small side salad, and after the first bite -- BAM -- this thing was excellent. The steak was fresh, tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I kept working through it bite by bite and loved every minute of it. Fantastic steak. Excellent atmosphere. Great service. The stars must have been aligned today because somehow I hit two 5-star meals in one day, and this one is definitely one of them. I'll absolutely be back eventually.

We found it on Yelp and it got 4 stars. We give it 5!! First of all the atmosphere is cozy and clean. The servers were EXCELLENT!! The menu was in Italian and we couldn't decide. We ordered a bottle of wine to start, and had complimentary bread to accompany it. We went in and ordered a salad to start, followed by the duck pasta, and the Florentine steak. The minimum was 1.3 kg for the steak when we were there, which was plenty big and they also bring the steak to the table on the scale to ensure the weight of the meat is ok before they start cooking. For the main, we split a Florentine steak. It was massive (1.4kg/3.1lb precooked weight) . It was cooked rare and it was served with flaky salt, pepper, and olive oil. It was very much worth the hype. The waiter also recommended a red wine to go with the steak and it paired perfectly. They also served a half bottle which was perfect to share with someone for the mains. We finished with tiramisu which was really nice. They served us limoncello (on the house) after and kept on refilling our glasses (we had 3-4 shots each) until we told them that we had enough. To top it all off, they sent us home with a bottle of their house wine. 12/10 experience, would definitely go back next time I'm in Florence.
