The waitress was friendly and there was a car show outside, which was cool. It didn't take long for our food to be cooked. My fish was hot off the grill, had a wonderful crispy finish, and was cooked to my specification. The salmon was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes it was served on. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. I was craving more. It was a modern Italian twist. The fried calamari was so tender. It had light breading. It was fried together with olives, sun dried tomatoes, sliced shiitake mushrooms and some basils. It was so good that I kept eating it. For entrees, I got the bone-in CAB ribeye. It was cooked medium rare. The steak was juicy, tender and had a little bite to it. The asparagus was great in the dish. However, I was not too keen on crispy potatoes with Gorgonzola cheese. The cheese kinda made the potatoes a bit salty. I didn't enjoyed it at all. The beef short rib was another entree I tried as well. It was tender but the flavor was not deep and complex. Overall, the restaurant did a good job with the food. They pickle their zucchinis, which was such a pleasant surprise because it added a crunchy texture alongside the croutons and the pickled flavor truly elevated the entire salad! 3. Jammy Eggs -- Egg yolks were cooked to perfect consistency and I loved their take on an Asian-fusion style dish with their furikake seasoning, which also gave slight crunchy texture alongside their creamy sauce that gave a hint of spiciness. 4. Szalay's Sweet Corn -- The mix of the cacio e pepe and miso aioli worked really well as the sauce for the sweet corn and gave it a creamy and savory flavor with every bite! All the cocktails we tried were very special and delicious! Their ingredients list includes unique combinations that pleasantly work for the drink. My favorite drink was "Never Too Much" and I don't even like Hennessy like that haha -- it was such a refreshing drink and the peach and lemon flavors truly was perfect for the fall season. Noble Beast is a great brewery in downtown Cleveland. This one felt more like warehouse breweries all over, but with its own urban jungle vibe of vines growing down from every skylight. The place was packed, but the bartenders were so nice, even chatting a while about the place. They have seating inside with picnic tables, small tables and chairs, and standing room around the bar and on the back small porch. The home fries were delicious. Crispy potato chunks that were the right amount of salty. Between the French toast and home fries, I left stuffed. Service was also great. My server was very friendly and welcoming, and came to check on me a couple of times. Notes - it's a small place with a couple of tables, but I was able to take a seat right away on a Friday morning.
