Service is always top notch h at Bistro and the happy staff make the ambiance very pleasant. Love coming here for breakfast. Any and all stuffed omelets are delectable. The rosemary toast is a perfect addition to any egg dish. I'm truly a fan

Delicious spot! I ordered fresh watermelon juice and a ham, egg and cheese croissant. The thinly sliced ham and eggs were folded between a light, fluffy croissant and then sprinkled with powdered sugar and drizzled with honey. This was a perfect meal for me and satisfied both sweet and savory flavors. They offer some creative drinks and dishes which I would love to come back and try. Servers are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is bigger than it looks and each area is designed differently. Cute place!

Love this place! Electic vibe inside with very interesting wall decor. Music js loud, but allows for conversation. Service is great. Waitress had great recommendations and was very attentive to us. Food and drinks are lights out. Get a cold caramel macchiato- it's like a breakfast dessert. Omelette was top notch- I got the Gaucho (skirt steak, onions, peppers) and it was tasty and filling.

Coffee and food were great. Service was prompt, friendly and accurate. They definitely do not cheat you on the food. Huge portions! I uploaded a photo of the inside of the omelette to show how stuffed it was. The restaurant was well kept and super clean. Highly recommend if you're in this area for breakfast.

What an amazing place! Service was great. The waitress was extremely helpful with the menu and guided us to Instagram for visuals to help with our decisions. When reviewing the menu prices seemed high, but after receiving our food the portions were huge so much so that we ate our lunch and also had dinner. Now, let's talk about the coffee we had....the Iced Pistachio Latte is AMAZING and would have made a great desser The space is cute. Worth checking out for sure.

Food was great. Amazing breakfast croissant sandwich (closer to a Mallorca than a croissant) the croissant Costa Rica Service was great And the pina colada was a delicious meal itself Second visit was the pancakes with Nutella fruit granola and whipped cream And a pina colada without the whipped cream and frozen pineapple (both in pics) and both delicious However if I knew the pancakes was so big I would have got them on day 1 and ate them all week Note pic 2 Pina colada with the whipped cream and frozen pineapple (not my pictures because I drank mine but I circled the whipped cream and frozen pineapple pop)

I don't know if the wait was worth it or not (over 3 hours; so we went food shopping in between) but our group had a good time. Grant it we had to go out and grab snacks and drinks from the outside to hold us over while we waited for them to put our order together but when our drinks did come and when the food did arrive over an hour later it was better then average meal. The portions are shareable. Our server did her best but management of this spot. They got to go. The system is run poorly.

This brunch and breakfast joint surprise me with excellent food and service. This place was packed and we had to wait for approximately 25 minutes to get our seats. We started off with the basic coffee and our server Nicole was prompt enough to bring us two lattes. Next, my wife ordered a four cheese, chicken omelette, and I ordered a Ranchero vegetarianos. These were some healthy servings and the taste was excellent. He also ordered a margarita andNicole concocted. an excellent margarita with jalapeño and a drop of orange juice. This was one of the best margaritas we've had in Puerto Rico. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the food and the service and will recommend this to anyone who wishes to have some great food and service.

We came here as it was recommended by a guy at the hotel. We got there, and there were a few people outside, so we knew it would be a wait. I left my name and number and was told I would be called. Never got a call. I went back and spoke with the girl and she asked If she had called me. No, you did not! She went to look for a table for us and got us seated right away. Our waitress was sweet. We ordered the croissant Costa Rica, the bacon egg and cheese croissant, the ham and cheese croissant, and the Romeo and Juliet French toast. The croissant Costa Rica was good, but it was so messy I had to eat it with a fork. The French toast was good too, but I didn't like the cream cheese in the middle. The place is cool, bigger than what it looks and is air conditioned, but I wouldn't go back. We waited 2 hrs to eat! An hour waiting to be called and an hour to get our food. The hype is thanks to Tik tok.

Whenever I go to a place that's TikTok famous, I often get nervous. These places are usually overhyped, the food is just OK, and it's well overpriced. However, Bistro Café lives up to the hype and is a place I recommend for anyone that comes to San Juan! One thing you should be prepared for is a wait: there are no reservations any day of the week, and the place is quite popular, so it will be packed. We had a very large party, 13 people to be exact so it did take us a while to get seated. We waited for roughly 30 to 45 minutes but we enjoyed a coffee shop down the road that made the wait go by fast. But just know... IT WAS WORTH IT. The ambience is adorable! With cute neon signs, colorful backgrounds, and minimal table settings, this venue it very easy on the eyes. The servers are very friendly, very patient, and very understanding of their popularity, and how it may attract large groups. Also for those that are not bilingual the menu is in English and Spanish; the servers will also direct you to Instagram so you can see what you read which is super helpful when trying to pick a meal. Now onto the food and drinks! This venue is known for their Mojito mimosas, which feature flavored popsicle that add a refreshing taste to your regular brunch favorite. They have every flavor you can think of and the drinks were quite refreshing with or without flavored addition of the popsicle. They also had mocktails which worked wonderfully for a pregnant friend in the group. The food was to die for: delicious, well seasoned flavorful and great portions. You truly feel like you're getting your bang for your buck and many of the members of my group of took home food, which they knew they would eat later due to the great taste and big size. The menu literally has something for everyone, regardless of any dietary restrictions. And finally the checkout process for a large group was made clear for easy decision making on bill pay at the end of our meal. So... shoutout to my first 5 star meal in PR... and I'm looking forward to more!

So delicious the recommendations on this place are were spot on. The wait time is the only issue but that is only because of how good the food is. Fresh ingredients great and helpful service. I'm glad I got a chance to try this before we left this island in the sun.

Love this place! Make sure to get the cafe mocha!! Also I love their breakfast sandwhiches, tasty and unique

We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Angelita and she made our delight her mission!! We began our meal with a bottle of The Fableist Cabernet Sauvignon, a beautiful full-bodied, but seemingly light, wine with vibrant, fruity notes of black currant and a hint of smoky oak. We then ordered the Crab Cassava Cake and the Vegan Ceviche appetizers The Vegan Ceviche was a refreshing medley of bright and fresh vegetables in a light lemon broth with a super tasty Breadfruit Fritter. The Crab Cassava Cake was an absolute SHOW STOPPER!!! The crab stew was bursting with true Puerto Rican "Criolla" flavor and was exquisitely complimented by a luscious and light cassava cake infused with tart, creamy goat cheese As a person who has never had a traditional crab cake due to a serious aversion to mayo, I was so stoked to try this version and it was absolutely worth the wait!! For our entrees, we selected the Grilled Salmon and the Chulekan. The salmon was perfectly cooked and served with asparagus and a hearty and delicious mashed Malanga (taro). The Chulekan is a traditional grilled pork chop preparation and Costa Azul has it perfected!!! The generous portion was incredibly flavorful and moist and topped amazing "mamposteo" style rice and beans. Both of our delectable meals were devoured with gusto! Overall, Costa Azul delivers on flavor, vibes and innovation and is a definite DO NOT MISS if you are in the Isla Verde/Carolina area!!!

At first, the food was pretty okay. I got waited on and served relatively quickly. However, my darker skinned friends had to wait a longer time not just to order, but also to get their food. One of my darker skinned friends ordered three empanadas and only received two. When she tried to speak to one of the servers about getting her third empanada they refused. She said she was willing to pay for it, but they refused to serve her what she asked. Then, they said there's always a problem with "you people". Then all of a sudden they lied and said she was trying to scam them. As we're walking out, they start cursing at us and saying things like " I hope everyone except you (referring to my darker skinned friend) has a good day". The servers were overall very disrespectful, they cursed, and they were overly unprofessional. So even though the food was okay this was a horrible experience. As we were leaving, we saw two other darker skinned black women walk up to try and order. We told them about our experience and the servers started lying and saying that we are there every day and always causing problems. This was also untrue. That was the first time we've ever been to this restaurant. We walked a block down the street to wait for our car service. Then moments later, we bumped into the same dark skinned black women we saw earlier and they told us that their presence wasn't even acknowledged. So like I said even though the food was pretty okay. It wasn't good enough to be okay with the blatant colorism where it wasn't expected.

It's a teeny spot with only about 10 seats, so you may have to wait. We were lucky to go on a cloudy day and snagged a little table. Chicken wings, pulled pork tacos, and the pork stuffed tostones are all yummy. There's an herby green sauce on them that is out of this world. Fresh and bright. Mojito was good, I'd steer clear of the margarita (seems like a mix is used). The OceanLab IPA was local and yummy.
