It was an amazing breakfast! The staff were spot on and the menu had several combinations and choices. It was hard to make decision. I landed on the Clemente Grand Slam- an ode to the late major leaguer and humanitarian. Along with eggs prepared your way, you make 4 additional side choices. I ran out things I wanted but landed on scrambled eggs, brioche French toast, fresh fruit, bacon, and madoros. My feast was cooked perfectly and may now cause me to skip lunch! Highly recommend this spot!
This place was phenomenal. Great choice for brunch. Good for groups and individuals. The service was good and the food was even better. I ordered a LOLITA'S BOWL w/ the SALMON AHUMADO. This bowl had a lot going on, but all the flavors worked out well with one another and made every bite a good one. My friends got the DALI'S FRENCH TOAST and the CLEMENTE'S GRAND SLAM and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. We're adding Tosatado to our recommendations list and hoping to come back here on our next visit!
Huge parking lot and this place is definitely for the tourist folks who want to brunch. the ambiance is nice upbeat hipster vibe reminds me of a trendy brunch spot. the service is kind but quite slow especially on busy brunch weekends which is expected. beware there might be a wait time so consider that. the food is good! totally filling lots of portion and good flavors i'd totally go here it's more for bringing a partner or friends i wouldn't recommend bringing family. 8/10 check it out if you want brunch
The place is a such a gem! The food was delicious and service was friendly and welcoming. The establishment is big too! There's parking, small outdoor seating and a lot of indoor with air conditioning. Very cute and modern. We the Mallorca bread, buñelos de calabaza, huevo, jamon y queso sandwich. I also order a cappuccino and my sister ordered the hibiscus tea. Everything was delicious with just one teeny tiny thing- the tea was too lemony. Aside from that, amazing! Definitely going back!
A Strong 5/5!! Everything was delicious. Great coffee, mimosas with cava were tasty , and breakfast was perfect. The pumpkin pancakes were so fluffy and not too sweet. Clemente's Grand Slam comes with a really good amount of protein and is very satisfying. The maduros were also SO GOOD. Really enjoyed my time at this restaurant. the inside and outside of it have pretty murals and are in a good area. Finished off with a chai lavander latte that was super refreshing. Service was great too!
This brunch spot has affordable and healthy options. I ordered the chicken bowl and it came with a side of salad mashed veggies I believe. I loved this dish so much and was shocked by how flavorful and juicy the chicken was. We were a big party and had 2 servers. Overall the service was good however, one threw in a few passive aggressive comments. The food was amazing and I did love the vibes of the cafe.
Stopped here on our last morning on San Juan and so glad we did! A short walk from where we were staying, the colorful building lined with windows and vines was so pretty and such a standout. We were sat immediately and our server Nataniel was super nice and attentive, we started with coffee, my iced coffee was delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed his espresso and the little cup it was served in. I opted for the two eggs your way, with a side of French toast and the salmon with goat cheese. Absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of food and the eggs were perfectly cooked over easy, fried on both sides. The salmon and goat cheese was such a refreshing and unique pairing, i didn't know i was missing this combo in my life but will definitely be making it at home! The French toast was good, the syrup wasn't your typical maple syrup, maybe just made with sugar cane? All in all a delicious meal. Definitely will come back next time I'm in San Juan.
Our server Nathaniel was very nice and attentive. The vibe is nice, the music is relaxing, not too crazy. You can still have a conversation in the background. The food was delicious. We started off with a mini charcuterie board with cheeses and bread, with marmalade, honey and pesto on the side. As an entree I enjoyed the Coco Pumpkin pancakes, they were amazing. You can really get the pumpkin essence with e wet bite. They are covered in strawberries, blueberries and bananas. I ordered a side of bacon to go with it and they were the perfect amount of crispness. My husband had the breakfast burger which was layered with bacon, goat cheese and a fried egg. He enjoyed it very much. My friends each got the Lolita bowl with had eggs, and veggies, salmon, toast. The drinks were refreshing. I recommend you check this spot out!! Good service and great food!
My family and I visited this restaurant on the last day of our vacation. With a group of seven, it took a little time to get seated, and once we did, service felt a bit slow. However, our server and chef went out of their way to cook my cousin's food first since he had a flight to catch--which was much appreciated! He finished his plate in about seven minutes flat. The rest of us waited a bit longer, but when our food arrived, it was worth it! Definitely try the vegetable chips--they're a must!
Tostado is a cute breakfast/brunch spot in the heart of Loíza. Went there because they had vegan options and the place did not disappoint. First plus was that there was parking. It's a lot that you must pay for but the restaurant may validate. Secondly the staff was welcoming and inviting. Every staff member was attentive and answered questions. I had the Lolita Bowl which had eggs, mashed root vegetable, sautéed vegetables, and I added avocado and sweet plantains. It also had sabao toast. We also shared the pancakes which are vegan and very good. They aren't large in size but still filling. We also Had the avocado toast. The food was excellent and I would definitely return. Actually I did return, the next day! . There is a parking lot which I believe they validate for.
Went to Tostado as it was highly recommended for a quick bite, coffee and work remotely. I really liked the vibe of this place. The service was excellent, the server was very amicable, the food was great, the cappuccino was delicious and the ginger lemonade was very refreshing. As a place to work while you grab a bite, the tables were comfortable but the seats were small. Other than that it's a great place.

The plan was originally another restaurant but the line was long and we needed to get to the airport. On our way to that place, we passed Tostado so decided to go back and were able to get a table quick. It was a Sunday at around 9am. The breakfast menu had all you can think of pancakes, French toasts, egg dishes cookies different ways, handhelds, and more. Fresh juices, coffee and tea options, and mimosas. Once we placed our orders the lattes and cappuccino came out fairly quick. We wanted to place an order for mimosas but that took a bit. The server did not come back until after our food came out. But we were able to get them in time to enjoy with our food. My friends ordered omelets, they seemed ok, very straightforward but they did love that it came with pan sobao on the side. I ordered the Mallorca breakfast sandwich. It was good but they burnt the edges a bit, and it needed more cheese and better melted. Apart from the wait to order the mimosas, service was great. Very friendly and nice staff. When we were done, there was a line forming outside, showing that this too is a popular place. read more

Went to Tostado as it was highly recommended for a quick bite, coffee and work remotely. I really liked the vibe of this place. The service was excellent, the server was very amicable, the food was great, the cappuccino was delicious and the ginger lemonade was very refreshing. As a place to work while you grab a bite, the tables were comfortable but the seats were small. Other than that it's a great place. read more

Came here a few weeks ago with my wife and son. Overall, this is a nice place and the menu seems pretty good. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to go over it before ordering. Our server quickly greeted us as soon as we sat down and took our coffee orders. I decided to place a order of french toast for our son so he'd get it ahead. However, my wife was starving because we had to wait for about 45 minutes to be seated since we didn't have a reservation and the place was packed for brunch. So she orders and then it's my turn but I hadn't had a chance to look at he menu. Under pressure, I just asked the waitress for a recommendation l. She suggested Clemente's Grand Slam: two eggs your choice with 4 sides. I went with fresh fruit, bacon, maduros (sweet plantains), and 2 mini coco pumpkin pancakes. Food and coffee came out quickly. We had ordered some falafel appetizers. We ended up getting them with the main course. I didn't care much for them. Clemente's Grand Slam was pretty good. That said, I wish I had had time to look over the menu because there was a second page with sandwiches, burgers, bowls, and salads which I think I would have preferred ordering. The housemate biscuits that came with my wife's eggs benedict were very good. I would like to return and try other dishes, hopefully without pressure, lol. read more

We came here for brunch. It was packed. We had to wait about 30-45 minutes to be seated. We weren't aware you could make reservations. That would have saved us some time. I loved the decor of this restaurant especially the ceiling lamps. I appreciate that everything is fresh. I ordered the egg's Benedict. It came over a homemade rosemary biscuit and a side of fresh greens. I liked the biscuit and the salad. I was a little disappointed with the eggs. Not enough hollandaise sauce. I also thought the falafels were decent, but not worth it. I wouldn't mind returning to try something different. read more
I've been to Tostado every time I've been to PR in the last three years. Their service is always excellent, sometimes better than others, since it can get busy. They are in a prime San Juan location filled with other trendy restaurants. They have their parking lot and a simple yet modern local. Their cappuccino and fresh juice are great. I always get their Parcha juice (passion fruit) and the cappuccino. The French toast and bacon are great. Chicken and Sweet Bacon Sandwich from Tostado is fantastic. Made with Oven-roasted chicken breast, cheddar cheese, sweet bacon, and baguette. Includes root vegetable chips, onions, lettuce, and tomato. This sandwich is so good. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the aioli adds the perfect touch. The sweet bacon is crisp and flavorful and complements the other ingredients perfectly. This is a brunch spot that my friends and I can always agree on when in San Juan. read more

Such a cute little restaurant! It was definitely busy (we went on the weekend) so get your name on the list. We enjoyed all of our food, highly recommend getting the house made hot sauce. Service was a little slow, and the food wasn't super hot when served, but overall, a nice experience. read more

I tried the eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and a bowl of fresh fruit--each was delicious. The eggs Benedict was probably the best I've had in the area; the poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and the cheddar biscuits were a delightful twist on the classic. The accompanying salad was light and refreshing, balancing out the richness of the Benedict. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great--spacious, open, and comfortable. It didn't feel crammed at all, which made for a relaxed dining experience. I especially liked the mirrors positioned above the barista station, giving a unique view of the staff preparing drinks. It added a fun element to the experience. Overall, I wish I did not wait until the last day of my trip to try this spot! I highly recommend Tostado for anyone looking for a quality brunch in the San Juan area. read more
My husband and I had a great brunch here at Tostada! Our server was solid and had a great personality! We started with the pumpkin fritters. They were sooo good. Love the touch of honey and granola. Such a great flavor! Next our server recommended, " a gastronomical experience" , the bowl. I ordered mine with bacon. It was delicious and plenty of food, so a good choice if you like a large portions. Coffee was also delicious. Husband just got fried eggs, bacon and toast. That toast was the best! So buttery, sweet and soft! Great food and service here at Tostada! read more

Great location with sufficient parking area. Parking not free but their is a discount with validated ticket. Breakfast options are plenty to choose from and all what we had was well cooked with great taste. Strongly recommended. I loved my French toast, the scrambled eggs. The bread toasts seemed not to be fresh. Coffee wise its superb, makes you forget Starbucks and all their syrups.... Service is calm and relaxed, just be patient- be millennial read more
Pretty darn good. Food was fresh and fast. The bowl was my favorite. The root vegetables were prepared perfectly and had a good amount of garlic. The tomatoes and onion mixture in the bowl was phenomenal. My one year old loved the food too. The burger was too sweet otherwise this would be five stars. read more

Tostado continues to be an excellent breakfast option in the Condado - Calle Loiza section of Puerto Rico. Fair warning they are closed on Tuesdays. Their coffee is excellent, food is well executed and of high quality and the service staff is attentive, warm and friendly. Parking is available at the Loiza location but the restaurant is only open until 3:00, so it can get super crowded. We have been coming here for years and Tostado has still maintained a solid "5 star" status. Tostado is not a ritzy or fancy place, but you will do no better for breakfast/lunch. read more
The inside of the restaurant was so quaint and trendy and the food matched the farm to table type of atmosphere! I had a platter breakfast that came with eggs, french toast, a side of fruit and everything was so fresh and tasty. Everything is served on eco friendly bio degradable plates and the coffee is served with a stirrer made up of linguine! Food is more on the expensive side -- would say similar prices to a popular brunch spot in the states. While the service was fast and friendly enough, there is definitely more of an aggressive approach to upselling tourists. read more

Second time being here and love it. They have a paid parking lot right in front of the store so it was a great safe stop when we had a carload of suitcases. The kitchen was backed up- but the food here is great. I loved the fish tacos!!! The hunks of fish are huge, the slaw the perfect tang, avocados galore! read more

By far my favorite breakfast place I tried during my stay in San Juan. This restaurant has a very laid back chill vibe but the menu is jam packed with delicious food. We tried the Lolita's bowl that had puré de malanga, with veggies, fried eggs, and we added plantains and avocado. By far one of the most delicious breakfast bowls I have ever had! The other star was the iced lattes. The iced latte was delicious! It became by top iced latte I have ever had. The customer service was amazing! Love eating here and I highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or brunch! read more

delicious drinks and great food! Stopped by here on a Sunday morning, was served very quickly. Staff is very kind and has great suggestions. Would recommend as a place to catch up with a friend, or grab a quick breakfast. Make sure you get the mallorcas!! read more
