Eggs, bacon, avocado, and egg, cheese, and bacon bagel

Great little place for breakfast within walking distance of the AC Marriott Hotel. The service was great and the food was cooked to our complete satisfaction. The bacon and egg bagel was delicious however, be careful and let it cool down for a minute...very hot!!

16 oz café con leche (with sugar and caramel) and orange juice

Super cute place with a chill vibe! Seating was pretty cramped but they got us seated immediately on a Saturday around noon. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. For drinks my bf and I both got the cafe con leche 16 oz with one shot and sugar and caramel. It was sweet and delicious! He also got the orange juice which was tart and seemed fresh-squeezed. For food we each got a lox bagel, but regretted not just sharing! We weren't super hungry and it would've been plenty enough for both of us. We thought it was a little pricey at $16.50 each, but seeing the portions afterward thought it was actually pretty reasonable. You can also add avocado and sweet plantains if desired (might be an extra fee). Be aware that it'll be build-your-own, but the presentation with the rose-shaped salmon was very cute! Overall would recommend, was tempted to try the Vitamin C smoothie looking at other reviews but had too much food to handle as it was!

Customer service was perfect. We swung here before going to Carabali. We ordered the following: Pinky's breakfast sandwich: 10/10 eggs were perfect Boricua surfer: 10/10 the plátanos made the sandwich Orange juice: 6/10 too much pulp for me

Such a cute quaint little sandwich spot. We were given the suggestion from a local and swung by. We were immediately helped and quickly ordered two sandwiches. The Cuban was meh, needed a bit more mustard but when paired w their vinaigrette came out pretty good. The blonde surfer was amazing. We loved the goat cheese that was in it paired with the perfect amount of avocado.

Pinky's is an excellent breakfast destination, but be warned: their portions are GENEROUS. I had a cafe con leche, it was solid. I also got a Pinky's Sandwich to go, and was shocked when they brought me this monster in a paper bag. As far as breakfast sandwiches go, this one checked all the boxes: eggs perfectly cooked, gooey cheese, a little meat, and a tangy sauce with the tiniest bit of heat to it. All on a nice hero that was the size of my arm. Come here for great food and coffee, but be prepared to not finish your meal!

I went to these lovely location twice in like two days! One day I had breakfast and another day I had the shake you see below. Staff fluent in Spanish and English and super friendly. Seating indoors and outdoors and adorable decor!

We were lucky that there was not a long line outside. The service was very quick and they were super friendly! I see what the hype is about my breakfast sandwich was delicious and I would highly recommend coming here. The sandwiches are huge you may want to think about sharing.

Pinky's is a go to when we visit P.R.. The food is always solid and the Drunken Pilot is a family favorite!! Be warned that the place is small and seating is limited so there may be a wait if you want to eat in. However it usually goes pretty fast and service is always friendly and prompt. Can't wait until our next visit!!

Small spot, but waited only a few minutes for a table for 2. Simple, delicious, filling. Service was quick too.

While staying at the Marriott up the street, I stopped by Pinky's for a late lunch. It was around 1 pm so the Sunday brunch rush had already passed - a couple people were sitting outside and the indoor dining spots were all open. Pinky's is very small - there's tight seating for 8 inside and slightly more spacious tables outside for probably about 10 or so. I was in the mood for something more brunchy, so I decided on the Pinky's Breakfast sandwich. I was originally going to eat there but they had the door open and it was warm inside, so I decided to get it to go. The bread was very tasty and the sandwich was huge - I didn't finish it. It was very filling and I loved the garlic pesto mayo on it. I would definitely try other sandwiches from here, to go if I'm on vacation here again. The smoothies looked good too.

Not a bad place for breakfast. I customized and they let me. Also got a side of fruit and veggies. Both yum. The scrambled eggs were good. The toast is not really toasted toast - but pan toasted wheat rolls. Great cafe con leche. Service is amazing. Place is okay ambience wise - not fancy but clean and functional. The inside is right next to the kitchen so a bit noisy.

Great spot to stop for breakfast or lunch. We went for brunch and the menu covered everything you could want. I went with the ham and cheese sandwich and for how simple it is, it's great. The bread was the star.

Me and boyfriend had some time before the airport and we decided to check this place out. It's not too far from the airport about 12 min drive.. Parking is on the street but not hard to find, the restaurant itself has only a few tables but the service is fast. Diana was our server and she did great! She suggested some food items and iced coffee flavors. Was always attentive to us and friendly. The food portions are really big too! And they're SOOOOOOOO good! I had the pinky's breakfast sandwich with everything and my boyfriend had the bagel breakfast sandwich. We both absolutely loved it! So flavorful!! If you have time before your flight or even just to check it out during your stay in San Juan, check this place out and ask for Diana!

We sat down for dinner at 7:45 and did not receive our drinks until 8:20, even though we put in our order as soon as we sat down... and asked politely how much longer until our drinks would come out... twice. Food did not come out for an hour and half, it was cold by the time we got it. Mac and cheese is not great cold. The ribs are extremely overcooked and like eating beef jerky. Drinks were okay, but by the time we got them everyone's cocktails were watered down, as well as the soft drinks. The ambiance was not great either since everyone around us was visibly frustrated by the wait times and lack of service, a table across flagged the waitress multiple times to ask where their stuff was. The food was decent, but again, cold. The wait times were no joke. We wrapped up our 7:45 dinner around 10, simply because of how long it took to be served. Our waitress came to our table maybe 3 times total, we would have to stand and find her to figure out where our food/drinks were. They were also out of a good majority of items on the menu when we tried to order them. Overall I unfortunately don't recommend! Price, service, and food are not great.

This local family-owned restaurant was a hit with our entire group of four. I ordered the Super Bowl Scramble, and wow, was it delicious. It was loaded with ham, sausage, eggs, potatoes seasoned with rosemary (which I absolutely love), and plenty of melted cheese. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. My friend ordered the Power Omelette, her husband had the Famous French Toast, and my husband chose the Ashford Special. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and was impressed with both the quality and the generous portions. I also had a fresh-squeezed orange juice, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, sweet, and the perfect complement to breakfast. The portions are large, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We left full, happy, and glad we stopped in. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great breakfast!

Everything we ordered was very good, and on an extremely hot day, I was especially appreciative of how well the A/C was keeping up. I was actually a little cold--and I'm never cold. It felt so nice after getting overheated right before we got there. One thing I noticed while wandering around Old San Juan is that some restaurants likely survive on location and foot traffic alone, while others earn people seeking them out. Semilla definitely felt like the latter. It's tucked just around the corner from some of the busiest pedestrian areas, so it felt like we escaped the crowds for a little while without actually going very far. Overall, I'd happily come back. If you're staying nearby and looking for a good meal without being surrounded by the busiest tourist crowds, Semilla is well worth checking out.

I asked if I could be seated in a different section of the restaurant, and even though they were packed, they said absolutely and found me a lovely seat in the bar area. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I suffer from severe food allergies but wanted to experience their tasting menu. My server spoke to the chef directly and then took the time to walk me through every option. I TRULY appreciated that they did not take anything off the menu but rather told me how they could adjust for my allergies. That is very rare and so very much appreciated that they went that extra mile for me. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It's 5 courses and they give you 3 options to choose from, within each course. And for the price ($85), a great value. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the Breadfruit Gnocchi, Rainbow Runner Crudo, and Criollo Duck Mofongo. Chefs kiss! What I also noticed was, even though they were insanely busy, they didn't make you feel rushed. The invited you to savor the experience - which I did. The standout of the evening was the Criollo Duck Mofongo, which was absolutely exquisite and easily the best mofongo we had on our trip by far. The cocktails were tasty and unique, but a bit small for the price. This definitely isn't an every-night kind of restaurant...the prices are on the higher side. I've bought them at the grocery store for my mother over the years when I couldn't find Menier. I was hoping to see some unique desserts at Chocobar Cortés. Let's just say that the chocobar at this location was not what I was expecting. It's like an express version of their original one in Old San Juan. This is located in the lobby of the Condado Palm Hotel. There are 2 entrances. Don't make the same mistake we did by trying to access at street level. That door is locked. You'll need to enter through the hotel lobby. The service is very slow here. There was only one other person there. We ordered a box of 6 chocolates and payed for it. I'm guessing he was making a drink for the other guest because he asked us to wait a few minutes. It ended up being longer so he told his colleague (who just came back from a break) to make up the chocolate box for us. Unfortunately, it took even longer as this other guy was more interested in the 2 young girls who just walked in. The chocolate bonbons were good, but nothing unique. It's the same artisan chocolates that you see everywhere for the same high price. Perhaps this location is better for their specialty cocktails in the evening time. I was looking forward to trying the choco-latte at some point. I doubt there will be a next time.
