For my birthday, I went to check out BitBar with my wife. At first glance, it looks like a normal arcade (or what I imagine an arcade would look like). As you walk in, there is a nice greeter/security guard to check you ID and take payments (Wednesday ladies play for free). All the games are free once inside. There is no need for tokens. I think that's my favorite part. Indica was our bartender. She is such a sweetheart and makes the best long island ice tea. Let's just say I cannot drink and drive on Mario Kart! There is a wide variety of arcade styles games including Pac-Man, Street Fighter, Tekken, a few zombie games, giant jinga blocks, uno, and Xbox with a few games (I'm a little rusty on my Rock Band)! When we got our food, we set at the table that had these cute little touch-LED lamps on them. They were so cute and the different light settings were a nice touch (literally and figuratively). I'm very picky when it comes to my wings. I like them to be crispy but still juicy when the sauce is added and Indica did not disappoint. She did her thing with the wings. I enjoyed myself and will be returning. Definitely 5 stars from me for the food, drinks and games. read more

This was my first time visiting a bar in Killeen and I am happy I made it out to this arcade bar! All of the arcade games are included with the $5 cover charge. A lot of arcade bars do not have that deal so I was surprised I was able to play unlimited games! A couple of the machines had some technical difficulties, but they have a good selection of games so that didn't bother me. I love that there is a lot of seating around the bar, and that there are plenty of tables to sit with your friends. The bartenders are very nice, and the drinks are good! I would want to come back with more friends to order more of their drinks and to try out their food! This is a great place to come to for a chill night out with affordable drinks and food. read more

The variety of games is fantastic. They had non-alcoholic beverages which I appreciated. The atmosphere was great. The only negative is that we had to wait an exorbitant amount of time to close our tab because the bartender just left. And the security guy is there to prevent you from just walking out without paying but couldn't close us out we just had to wait for this kid to come back from either a long bowel movement or smoke break. I haven't heard of this place before until today but it is like an adult video game arcade. We pod a fee of $5 to get in and all the credits for the games are free. They have multiple games to choose from. Sadly they did not have their kitchen up and running so they couldn't cook food until 9:00pm. They were short on staff lucky, they did say you could order food and have it delivered here. Drinks are cheap. read more

place was fun but a few the games don't work which they are older & I understand that ! When we went in we were greeted and it was explained right away on how entrance and fees worked which was helpful. It was five dollars each for my fiancé and I to get in. the bar tenders were cool as well even with a small crowd, regular customers and a birthday party that was going on we were taken care of in a very timely manner and the lady even pointed me in the right direction of what to get when I was told they didn't sell Seagrams. Free entry during happy hour 4-6. .50 cents off beers during that time. They have a couple local salado beers there and 2 dollar lone stars. can't beat that. Wednesday is ladies night. Free entry. This place is cool. Arcade machines don't work properly and they are so damn noisy, you can't hear the music. The outside is nice though. Corn hole and giant jenga are fun. The drinks are made well and I'm impressed with the service. The bar is small and has two servers. They could get swamped easy if they didn't work fast. My issue is the food. I understand that there is no fully functioning kitchen but there is ways are that. You could change the menu to accommodate that. Something simply like chips and guacamole. A great place with a fun concept, it is a Mellow place most of the time so if you like loud full of energy bars, you may want to avoid but it can get competitive when you and others battle at video or board games! The idea is you get in no cover before six, low cover after that. You drink and eat while a whole bunch of old school video games as well as a Nintendo system with smash Bros. They have Captain America and the Avengers, Simpsons, couple racing games, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter vs...., neo geo choose your games, As well as several board games. This place is awesome! No charge to play the games, just a small cover charge to get in depending on what time you go!!! Arcade Games include Donkey Kong, Pacman, Super Mario 3, etc...They also have board games and card games to play at the tables... Plus, you can order drinks (beer & booze) and order bar food such as nachos. I mean where else can you go eat food and drink alcoholic drinks and play awesome arcade games. Cute arcade bar. $5 cover charge to come in and play unlimited games. They have classics, like Ms Pac-Man and Skeeball, and some newer things like The Simpsons and Star Wars. I wish they had more paired games - like two Rush Hours next to each other, because you are likely here with a date or friend. It's not quite as fun having to take turns. The skeeball was always popular so we never got a chance to play; but you do need to exchange your ID for a bucket of balls. They also have regular board games like Battleship, and an oversized Jenga. Definitely a fun spot! read more

You pay a small cover $ 2 to 5 dollars depending on the day (they have specials and lady's night) and all of the games are free play. They have a pretty good bar selection and appetizers, although I have not eaten here. There's a juke box, tv screens as well, plenty of addition seating, you can Vape inside, smoke outside. It's perfect for a date night or groups. I love this concept and the price. I did some math the last time I was there. For me to play Mrs. Pac-Man at a traditional arcade (dying as many quick deaths as I do) would have cost me $9.50 alone. read more

Everyone in there is very humble. Very fun way to spend a night with a couple of drinks and play classic arcade games i grew up playing, especially for free, other than the cover charge. This place is amazing! Such a neat concept. The only thing I think could be improved is the bar service. We went looking to drink a bit, as we had already secured a ride home. But every time one of us went to the bar, the bartender was not at the bar. She was over playing games with her friends or sitting at the bar chatting. I honestly have never been more excited to walk into a bar and be totally amazed. All the retro arcade games were unbelievable and take me back to child hood memories. And now they are that much more exciting and fun to play with a bottle of beer in my hand. The bitbar is honestly the best place to be for a good time. There is a 5 dollar coverage to get in and the games are all free to play. They have board games as well and darts in the back. And a big connect four on the side of the wall! Last night my fiancé and I went to BitBar and has a blast. We played the huge sized jenga the whole time and sipped on beer. It was great that they already had the Octoberfest Samuel Adams on tap. That is my favorite! I think they only reason this place doesn't get a five is bc you have to pay money to play the jukebox and they only serve beer and wine. What a great place that really throws you back in time to when arcades were not filled with just redemption games. I came on a Tuesday when it opened and had free admission and time to sit down and chat with the owner Ken. What a great guy and just had a passion for what he does. His games are in great working order and there is a good selection of beers on tap - at great prices. You can bring in your own food too or buy a hot dog or whatever else is on the menu. I spent about 2 hours slapping some buttons on Simpsons and the Avengers. Gave me some nostalgia from a little while ago. Will definitely be back! read more

We visited during happy hour (4-6 pm) and we were able to play games for free. No complaints there. However, the place was really dark, dirty, and the games just didnt wow. Having been to other similar top of the line arcade bars, this one just doesnt fit the bill. Overall value is hard to beat, but this is a place I didnt want to spend more than 20 minutes. Took the bf here for Valentine's Day this year on a Wednesday and it was honestly the highlight of our evening! They're open til 2am every day and the cover is only $5, but they let us both in for free for the holiday :) The arcade is full of so many fun arcade games and all of them are free -- definitely a plus with some of the older SNES games that kick your butt. They also have marvel vs capcom 2 which is always worth a play. I only had a beer but it was still a brand I liked. Overall it was great experience and I'm so glad I decided to come here. read more
