The menu is pretty large for a fast casual restaurant, so there is something to every palate or just about every dietary restriction. I had the delicious Edgy Veggie: Fried green tomatoes with mushroom gravy on a biscuit with an iced coffee. The coffee is lovely and there is a good range of specialty lattes (hot or iced) including milk alternatives for the dairy challenged, such as myself. The staff was delightful and friendly, and equally as cheerful was the decor of the restaurant. No boring gray here! Despite many options our second day in town, we decided to return the next day. I wish we had Biscuit Belly in the Chicago area!

The modus operandi here is that you stand in line to place your order, then go find a table. At Sunday brunch time, the line can be long and slow to move. After you are seated, a runner will bring your food out. Our orders were correctly prepared and came out quickly. We ordered fried green tomatoes, loaded tater tots and donut holes as appetizers. The green tomatoes were just okay, but I would say that the dipping sauce that came with them was fabulous. The loaded tater tots didn't really seem like tater tots but tasted okay. The donut holes were decent. I ordered the Chick N' Ditch (chicken breast and waffles). The unpleasantly salty chicken was a filet. The French toast that looked like pancakes were good JP ordered the Avocado Toast and said it was just okay. The Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit was good. I was able to order a biscuit on the side (even though the paper menu didn't show biscuits as a side). The biscuit was good. I'm torn between three and four stars for Biscuit Belly, but because the ambience was lively and the interior appealing, I'll go ahead with four stars.

The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful - bright, warm, and full of positive energy. There's a genuinely happy culture here, with friendly, chatty tables all around us. It's the kind of place where strangers smile at each other and the whole room just feels alive with good vibes. Now let's talk about the food - exceptional doesn't even cover it. The Mexican flavors are authentic and absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was perfectly executed with that genuine taste you can't fake. But the real star? The Oaxacan latte. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best I've ever had. Rich, complex, perfectly balanced - it alone is worth the trip. When it's freezing and snowy outside, this is exactly where you want to be: surrounded by warmth, great food, happy people, and that incredible Oaxacan latte in your hands. Can't recommend this place enough. It's become our go-to breakfast spot, winter or any season!

I ordered the Chilaquiles Con Huevos which was amazing. I loved the strong and bold flavors of the all the components. It was a little soggy, which is fine, just assuming it would be so with the amount of sauces and everything on top. The drip coffee was delicious. If ever in the area again, I would stop by for sure.

I told the server to surprise me and I ended up with the benedict paired with a mimosa. It was great! Food seemed heavy but didn't leave you feeling like you needed a full day nap. Service was great. Atmosphere was adorable. They were steadily busy but didn't lack on service. I will certainly be back!!

They're known for their pancakes (rightfully so), but the real hit is the stuffed French toast. The fresh fruit cuts through the cream cheese and thick sourdough to help mitigate the food coma that follows. Their savory dishes can leave you wanting for some flavor, but that's why the good Lord invented hot sauce. Also, yes, you can technically go to the St. Matthews location, but somehow it just tastes better in the Highlands. Maybe it's the vibes, maybe it's the mild chaos in a small space, or maybe it's the satisfaction of earning your meal as you quest for parking and wait for a table. Parking is...optimistic at best, but that walk to and from your car might be the only exercise you get once the carbs hit your bloodstream.

I almost always get the Wake Up Burrito, which is loaded and satisfying, but I've heard great things about the breakfast sando, chilaquiles, and pancakes from friends too. The space has a cool, artistic vibe, the staff is welcoming, and it's the kind of place you want to linger at with a second cup of coffee. Whether you're a local or visiting, put this on your list!

Of the 10 friends only two said the food was OK. The rest were very disappointed. My food arrived 45 minutes to an hour after everyone else's my burger was raw and I had ordered it well done. I took one bite and threw it away. When Management came to ask how everything was I deferred to my other family members because I did not want to complain then they specifically ask me and I was honest. Instead of offering to comp or refund my meal, they offered to remake my burger, but we had already been there for 70 minutes and it took 55 for my burger to come out. They brought me a beet juice which was delicious. I just sold my café four months ago in Montana and anytime a customer was not completely satisfied. I comped their meal or reimbursed them for the purchase price. I love the people here. I love the concept, but today was a complete disappointment and I know nine people will probably never return.
