The mugs are empty. But their coffee drinks are tasty even for this not a coffee drinker.

Look. First off, my resolution for 2026 is to pause and take pictures before I eat. In any case, as always, my biscuit was gone almost as fast as it hit the table. Some go tos for anyone curious, the G.O.A.T. Mamas boy, loaded tots, love shack. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. There's a kind of diner/cafe feel in the dining room. When my friend visits from California she always insists on coming to biscuit belly for biscuits and gravy.

10/10 restaurant. I love that you grab a menu, go order at the counter, and seat yourself. their service was excellent despite it being a busy saturday. They have drink refills, silverware, napkins, hot sauces all accessible to customers! i love this restaurant it's my favorite casual brunch spot to show friends. and the food is DELICIOUS they make the best mushroom gravy i've ever had!

Soooo good. So you go in grab a menu and wait in line. You order your food, there are pictures of each item on a screen that goes in order of how they are on the menu. It was a perfect breakfast/brunch.

This was our second visit & I'm honestly mad at myself for how long it took us to come in! The ambiance is fun, bright & inviting. Staff is lovely & so helpful. The biscuits are great & the menu is extensive- something for everyone! I dare you to narrow it down to one item! There is a point system that's AMAZING too, if you get the app. Today we got free donuts with bourbon frosting... nom nom nom. Its St. Patty's Day, so we got the pistachio themed coffee special x2 also! So good, I didn't get a picture before the biscuits hit the bellies lol. We will be bringing company here for sure.

Oh we always enjoy the crew here! They're hands down the best squad at all the locations!!!! Patient and consistently considerate. Always checking in and making sure you have everything you need- will always fix everything that's not okay for you- example- I didn't like the butter that came on on my food. Remade it. No attitudes no seeming like it's a bother or you're wrong. And it's always a really good feeling when someone is like oh no it's okay what can I do - let me fix it and it's all good I have you! So again best crew in the city by a landslide. Xoxo I tried the yogurt bowl and the chick n ditch waffle this time. Oh and fried green tomatoes.... No butter- I know this now. It's a me thing. Ok. Ok. The kid had same thing as always... the loooooooooove shack! ‍

The food is over the top excellent for a small bite or huge it doesn't matter it's all good!!! Being greeted by the friendliest staff just adds to ambiance. There is seating outside and right on Frankfort! What a joy??

This is a Louisville must for me, we stop by regularly when in town and I was pleased to find omelettes on the menu as someone who is gluten free I haven't been able to go to biscuit belly in quite some time, I am excited to return again knowing there are more omelettes I'll need to try! There was a great atmosphere on the patio, the service was lightning quick; all over a perfect Sunday.

Very good comfort food, each bite packed a bit of savory flavor. The biscuit held it all together like a hero under pressure. Definitely worth a try

Went on a Sunday morning, and this place is super busy for good reason! Biscuit Belly's is self service, but the staff moves quickly to ensure your wait time isn't too long. My partner and I got seated after about 10 minutes, and our food came shortly after that. We were able to try their Bonuts for free due to a promo they had, which was super cool. We loved the Fried Green Tomatoes, as my midwest partner and I usually don't have the opportunity to order them. Our entrees were filling and delicious, and we enjoyed the restaurant's bustling culture even if it was a bit loud at times. Overall, a fun breakfast place for two or your family. The branding is also amazing, we bought a mug because it was too cute to pass up.

Nice little cozy place to stop for a nice breakfast. Atmosphere was nice; bright colors, decorative scheme is nice and cozy. Pick up menu on way in, place your order at the desk and grab your drink(s) and seat yourself. They bring the food out to you fairly quickly. Food was tasty; eggs were easy over ( but more done then easy over, ding ), biscuits are in shape of a heart ( nice touch ) potatoes were nicely done and some a bit crunchy ( I like ) jelly was mix blend of fruits I believe ( good taste ) sausage patties were good and firm, not greasy. All in all a nice spot to stop for a breakfast bite.

I visited a little bit ago on a Saturday morning with my mom. There was little wait time, and we got our food within 10 minutes. The menu had lots to choose from. I went with the T-Bird which was delicious! My mom went for a classic breakfast, The Belly Board. The house made jam and sausage were so good! Lastly, I loved the environment. It was so bright and a great place for brunch! I would definitely recommend. Very similar to First Watch!

This spot is so cute. There is always plenty of seating and when I went - prime brunch time on a Saturday - the line wasn't even that long despite the whole place bustling with people. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was a lil pale but still delicious. I also got the belly board with bacon and over easy eggs and I subbed out the potatoes for fruit. It was the perfect balance. The biscuit was obviously fresh to death. It came with some preserves which were amazing. All in all I recommend! They have a rewards program but since I'm not local I didn't take part.

When we came here we did not realize that Proof on Main is a not only a wonderful restaurant/bar but also a 24/7 free museum. You can order drinks and then walk through the exhibits. We just opted to eat breakfast first. As soon as you enter, you are standing in a colorful and fun art museum. The walls are adorned with many different types of art from living artists. The staff also encourages you to walk through the dining room and if able they will walk along as your own private docent, explaining a lot of what you see. We had to pause the dining room and bar exhibit tour for a short time to have breakfast which included: - BREAKFAST SANDWICH - Scratch Biscuit, House Sausage, - FRENCH TOAST - Ricotta, Strawberry, Pistachio - BISCUITS & GRAVY - House Sausage Gravy, Sunny Eggs, Chili Crisp Scrambled Eggs, Melty Cheese, Hash-brown - STEEL CUT OATMEAL - Spiced Apple Butter, Apples, Candied Walnuts I will not go items by item but I will say that everything was so perfect-tasty-fresh. The portions are very robust here and I am sure no one goes aways hungry. They have a lot of unique twists on items as you can see by the menu we had. After breakfast, we resumed our tour of the main floor then the basement. It's hard to describe just how large the viewing area is and all spots within the area are used for some kind of art display... Even the bathroom. Everything is so unique and I tried to capture a fair amount of it in photographs and information about the piece as well. This too should be a must visit if your in the Louisville area. Set aside an hour or two to stop in and relax with some great food and art. KUDOs to the team at Proof on Main.

My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I came here two Fridays ago ahead of a bourbon tour (thinking, correctly, that we should probably have a hearty meal beforehand so we didn't end up face-first in a gutter somewhere). Several Kentucky natives told us that we had to try a Hot Brown during our visit, and since it was literally created at the Brown Hotel, this seemed like the logical spot. The actual Hotel has some gorgeous interiors, especially upstairs in the lobby. We didn't see that area until after our meal, so when we laid eyes on the Lobby Bar & Grill, we knew immediately that that was where we SHOULD have gone for this Hot Brown dish. J. Graham's, I'm sorry to say, doesn't have the history and personality of the rest of the building and just looks like a generic breakfast spot you'd find in any hotel. It probably exists solely because the other dining options in the hotel aren't open until later and they want to give tourists and their own customers a place to eat at all times of the day, which isn't a terrible reason in my book. But it's also unfortunately not very good, and the dirty walls and overall meh appearance of the establishment just make it very clear that the hey day for this hotel overall was decades ago. The service was the biggest miss here. Our waitress was scatterbrained, often not around or around but hanging out with co-workers or talking up other customers. It was honestly pretty mystifying because when she DID come by, she was often overly apologetic and trying to make amends. But the best way to make amends is not to have to keep doing that throughout the meal. She forgot my friend's coffee (didn't write anything down when we ordered, which is fine if you remember everything but...) and when my chum asked what was in the hummus (one of just three apps), she didn't know and had to go ask someone in the kitchen. That's arguably a nitpick and she DID try to figure it out, but the lunch menu is pretty small and it was a little odd that her menu knowledge was that limited. The bigger problem was that we were in there for over half an hour longer than we wanted to be because she wouldn't come by our table. I actually actively looked for her on the way to the bathroom so I could remind her to come to our table, but instead found her off to the side gossiping with other staff. Not a good look at all. So this might have been an overall positive experience if some of the hospitality from the hotel had spilled over here. We actually both enjoyed the apps, which were the only real positives of the experience. The Bourbon Barrel Fries and the Two Timer, featuring Smoked Bourbon Hummus (bourbon tends to be the theme of your days in this town, I've found) were both really good, and I probably ate more of those than the actual entree. The fries were cooked perfectly and were well seasoned/addictive. The Hot Brown was fine for what it was (we split it to try). It's basically a dramatic turkey melt, with slices of turkey coated in cheese and other sauces. It also came with strips of bacon on top, which on a personal palate level I didn't think really helped the dish so I barely nibbled on those. It's definitely a solid entry but it wasn't mind-blowing for either of us. Maybe it's just from where we come from in the Northeast, but I'm conditioned to like my turkey with accompanying stuffing, and usually in the latter part of November. I think it felt kind of weird to be eating turkey with warm cheese. But I'm glad we tried it and got the context at least. You might have a completely different experience with better service, but I'd still recommend going upstairs for any dining. It's a much better atmosphere and you can really appreciate where this hotel fits in the chronology of Louisville. You're not going to get that from going here.
