Manhattan joes did not disappoint! I am very picky with pizza and this one hit the spot. Good undercarriage, fresh ingredients, great crust. Not too oily either which is a major plus. I loved the plain cheese one the best. We ordered pickup and the staff was all very friendly and order was ready on time. Decently priced for the area and quality. Will definitely be back!

Ordered via DoorDash 3 pies for work to feed 10 adults perfectly with a handful give or take left. Was pretty decent, nothing to write home about though. Would order again, felt prices were decent. Overall everyone seemed to enjoy the veggie pizza

I randomly decided to get pizza w/ my friend Charlie literally right after eating sushi. (who does this?) Foodies. On a cheat day. Anyway, they definitely got the thin slice part to perfection. I just think I've been spoiled with super flavorful pizzas that the everyday regular pizza taste doesn't do it for me anymore. Don't get me wrong this pizza was so thin & perfect crust wise. It was great introducing these fish to the meatballs lol

Tastes like NYC, but I think they use rice flour on the bottom, they should use corn meal so the steam can escape and you'd get a crispier pie. Until they make that tweak, it's a 3 star pie. Could always take it home and bake it a little longer it can use it. This pizza is saggier than Chris Christie.

Pizza in South Florida is a legit controversial topic. There are private social media groups that exist In our community where one person mentions some decent pizza and I swear no one gets any work done for a span of 3-8 business days. Luckily, we have finally all come to an agreement on the best pizza around. The consensus? Not only is there no best SoFlo pie, but we can't even agree on what's actually good. Thin crust. Large slice. Sauce?! Come on. I do like my sauce on the sweet side and require a large wedge of delight, but if I'm handed a slice that I can't single-handedly manually brandish? Sadface. Running errands in Boca, super hungry, having read this place is on the upper echelon on all the Delray/Boca forums... hubby spots it, not me. But it had name recognition to me at this point and mama was hungry. Walk in, see no window of slices, thought I remembered they sold slices, ask behind the counter to a fellow that laughs bc he doesn't work there, but person that does says yes they do sell slices. We order, we hang out. I took a pic of their pepperoni pie bc it looked delicious. Which is why I don't type the rest of this lightly... Look at the pic. It looks GOOD. I saw at least 1or 2 more pies go out when ours were out of the oven as well. The pizza slices looked good and gave me hope. I took a pic for you Yelpers before lifting those ribbed paper grease absorber plates to my mouth with high hopes. But it fell! AGH. My favorite bite of NYC pizza is the first one bc it hangs off the paper plate but doesn't hang! The crispy fresh crust is stiff enough so that the first bite you get of the slice is pointing straight at your lips. No support needed! It's the best bite. The problem is, you think you'll have that bite with other pizzas. But you won't. You'll never have to deal with snow and you may never remember what it feels like to have your core temp dip so low that you don't remember how to be warm. But, eventually, if you stay far away from that glorious pizza we took for granted, you may forget what makes the real thing so good.

Super disappointed. Ordered the lasagna pizza (ricotta, sauce, and meatball)... there was NO ricotta. Literally tasted like a cracker with a little sauce? I added prosciutto for extra and there was barely any at all, mind you it was 4 dollars to add it. ALSO, the toppings and sauce stopped halfway up the pizza. Ordered this and a salad for my moms birthday and we were beyond dissatisfied.

Have you ever had really, really bad food and wonder.... does the owner eat this junk or do they just serve it to the paying public? My Chicken Parm Hero had chicken that was clearly not fresh and in no way should have been served and as such I had to throw the garbage in the garbage. I also had a Sicilian Pie and it was just bread with dried out cheap toppings. I've not had a Sicilian Pie that awful in NYC or even down in South Florida and it tasted like no one really gave a damn to serve a decent product. I've had a regular cheese pie from Manhattan Joe's in the past and it was okay but this order was less than zero terrible.

Finally, a pizza place that makes phenomenal pizza!! I'm so tired of places claiming to have the "best pizza in town". LIES! My husband has been wanting to try this place for quite some time. We finally gave in and called to place an order. I was informed that this was for the east Boca locale which is the one I wanted. Placed the order for the 20" cuz I like leftover pizza. Waited 20 minutes and went and picked it up. Got home and I didn't even change before grabbing a bite after taking a picture of course. WOW!! Perfectly baked thin crust. Sauce was tasty, as were the toppings. Thank you for knowing how to make my kinda pizza, thin and crispy! We will be frequenting Joe's from here on out.

Been here 3 times now and the pizza has been consistently great every time despite 3 different people making it. And a pleasant surprise is that they have beer on tap, you can enjoy a cold one why you wait! Garlic knots are good even though they are more like rolls than knots. But hey it's garlic and bread do you can't really go wrong there. The picture here is from our first visit but they grew on the subsequent visits . read more

I am from NY and since moving down here for school it's been tricky to find my go to Italian restaurants and pizzerias. However, I have recently discovered the best pizza place in Boca Raton. Manhattan Joes Pizzeria is by far the best place to find pizza in South FL. It's very close to FAU as well and after class if I want a bite this is my go to. Always like trying new pizza by the house ... this WASNT good. Honestly it was super soggy and not even enough sauce. So I'm not even sure why it was so soggy not necessarily greasy. Imagine a thin wet paper towel. Not good at all will not be going back 09/2019 Went back so I wanted to update my review... got pizza , pasta , rolls , salad ... all were EXCELLENT! The first time I went may have been an off night. So glad I gave them another shot. Thanks for a great meal ! read more

Stopped in for 2 slices. The pizza was good. The only thing that I didn't like was the guy handled cash at the register and then did not wash his hands. He went right back to tossing dough. For that I can't give more than 2 stars. Makes you wonder about the cleanliness..... read more

I had my extra large pizza delivered by Uber Eats, I live nearby and it came extra late. The crumbled sausage was loaded with salt and it all had to scraped off the pizza. Every other ingredient on this lifeless pizza crust was tasteless...very inferior. This restaurant needs to raise its standards as well as its selection of better quality ingredients. As it stands now, it is not fit for anyone! read more

Best pizza in Boca!! We had a large half Hawaiian half meat lovers that was delicious!!! Nice thin crust but not mushy at all. Ingredients are high quality. It was very clean inside and the staff was super nice and well organized. Highly recommend. I think the large was the biggest pizza I've ever seen. I slice was the size of my plate. Made great leftovers!:) read more

Got pizza from here a few weeks back. Was excited to see online ordering through their website. Turns out you are really linked out to GrubHub, ordering through GrubHub and then they are transmitting the order to Manhattan Joe's so then the pizzeria is delivering it. Which results in confusion and a slow delivery process (over 1.5 hrs). Maybe the key is to go old-fashioned and call them direct to place your order. Went with 20" NY style. Decent crust. Saucy. read more

This is my favorite pizza in Florida. Start with the cheese, make sure you try the bianca though too. Try the parm sandwiches too, get extra marinara and garlic knots... the sauce is legit! Friendly staff, very clean and open. Highly recommended! read more

I'm giving the food 4 stars , but not the staff , the get a 1 ! When me my husband and 8yr old came in , they all stared ! We sat ourselves, and they still were staring , so I waited for the waitress or anyone to recognize us and no one came over , so I walked to counter to order , the girl with long brown hair , maybe 22 or son, had no personality and seemed very miserable. Mind you we were only customers in there. Had to order and deal with needless to say the whole time get up and ask for refills and everything else . Food is great but needs a whole staff change , as a manager of 15+ , from 50's to 20 I can tell you that girl and the staff killed my experience. They also looked at other customers the same , what's there problem , it's your job and there slow it's like you can't even say hi or bye , GET NEW STAFF! read more

This place is awful!!! Ordered pizza on line ( phone was busy for 30 minuets ) We go to pick up our order 35 minuets later and they tell us they NEVER got the order!!! We paid on line and got a confirmation number!!! They said SORRY we will give you a free slice.... Thats all. Should know better then to try the new menu in our mail box!!!!! HOW HORRIBLE!!!!! Used to frequent Manhattan Joes in West Boca - good pizza depending who's making them, but pizza maker turnover so we stopped...but this just an unappetizing one from the east location (we were right there today)- the kids love a crust and this was all sauce and NO crust?! They didn't eat the 2 inches of crust where there was no cheese (and no nice raised crust). NEVER had pizza look like this in NY...'Manhattan' Joes, really? A cheese shortage?? Sauce overload? Good ingredients and tasty though...if you like the way it looks. Won't be back. The kids said a big NO. read more

Really turned off by this place. Food is Onpoint. But 2 times I've called and they don't have food that we order. Last week called for chicken parm they were out of chicken. So that means any dish with chicken they can't make. Today we called they are out of pasta. So any dinner that comes with pasta there's no pasta. The guy who picked up said "yea we get busy in here". Your going to tell me you can't run to Publix/costcos/bjs and by spaghetti/fettuccine/penne for the dinner orders that come in???? You guys have great reviews for your food but being out of stuff that you can buy at any other store to go in place of your dishes until you get it in is what blows my mind. read more

Knew of this place around the corner from a job site ive been working at and last night I had 13 hungry FPL linemen working on a cable pull and decided to feed them. 4 large 20in pizzas, 2 dozen garlic knots fed them all and there were some leftovers because of how big the pizzas are. Big NY slices to fold and eat, good bottom and good crust with the right sauce. garlic knots loaded with garlic just like they should be. Damn good pizza. read more

Worst customer service ever! This site said a delivery time of 35-45 minutes. At 45 minutes and no pizza I contacted them the guy was rude and said the confirmation said 90 minutes we're busy tonight. Very rude! So I gave him another 30 minutes called back...THE PIZZA HAD NOT EVEN BEEN STARTED YET! If he had told me that the first time I called I would have come to pick it up! AGAIN VERY RUDE. He was about to hang up on me when I asked to make sure the refund showed up in my credit card and that's when he told me that I needed to contact grub hub... I am picky about my pizza so when I say it's the best you better believe it!!! If you are a thin crust lover you will not be disappointed!! Thin crispy but light not over loaded with sauce or cheese which I personally enjoy. Always fresh fast and a great pizza by the slice spot!! read more

If I could give a 4 1/2 stars I would...5 stars for value and fast delivery on a Friday night. East Boca- you've got a new pizza delivery option! Manhattan Joe delivered our pie personally tonight, within 20 minutes, along with a large salad and garlic rolls- all for $20!! Probably an early opening promotion, but one we will take advantage of again with a growing teen in the house. The 20" pie is yuuuuge!!! Good crust, okay sauce, and good cheese. Garlic rolls were Delish and salad was too much too eat, so we will have it for lunch tomorrow. read more

Thin crust NY Pizza! On a visit to FAU we stopped in and had an amazing experience. The margarita pie was thin a delicious. Cooked well done but not burnt. Great sauce and fresh mozz. The regular cheese pizza was absolutely delicious. 2 - 20 inch pies were gone in the blink of an eye. This is coming from a pizza snob from NY! Now I'm hoping my son goes to FAU to visit this pizzeria. Oh by the way the dough is from Brooklyn NY. You cannot get dough this good from Florida water. read more

Take a trip to NYC via South Florida to Manhattan Joe's Pizza!!! It will transport you with the perfect slice(s) of New York traditional fare. Grab a House salad enough to split for 2, topped with a delicious vinegarette and olives! The Large Pie made fresh to order and piping hot was delivered by the chef with a smile and a joke. Super crispy and good! We went on a Sunday at 3pm(kinda a weird time but I was craving pizza). The place was pretty slow at the time because it's in between lunch and dinner. I shared a 20'' margarita pizza with my boyfriend and we loved it. If you like the classic thin crust and crispy pizza you'll love this place. The staff was very friendly and funny, and loved to make conversation. Small and delicious restaurant that I would recommend to try. read more

Now I'm mad that I left a Tip. Furthermore the prices on the in store menu are not the same as your final ticket. I was charged $16.99 for my platter when the menu clearly states $15.99. This was the most disappointing Mediterranean food I have ever had in the 11 years living in this area.
