Living Green Cafe is still a great option if you're looking for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian or generally cleaner food choices, but after visiting both the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale locations, I definitely noticed a difference between the two. My partner and I like that Living Green gives us plenty of options that fit the way we prefer to eat. At the Boca location, you can still order from the regular menu or choose from the prepared foods behind the glass and build a plate by the pound. The food itself was good, and I would still recommend Living Green overall. That said, the Boca location had a noticeably smaller selection of prepared foods than Fort Lauderdale. There were several items we had enjoyed at the Fort Lauderdale location that simply were not available here, including the squash that completely won me over on our previous visit. The biggest difference, though, was the service. While we were choosing items for our plate, we were still actively looking at the options and deciding what else we wanted. The employee assisting us repeatedly asked, "Is that all?" before we were finished ordering. Once? No problem. But after hearing it several times while we were clearly still deciding, it started to feel rushed and unwelcoming. We probably would have ordered more, but eventually it felt easier to just finish the order. That stood out because our experience at the Fort Lauderdale location was much warmer and more inviting. So for me: Food: Healthy options: Prepared-food selection: 1/2 Service: Overall: Living Green Boca is still a solid choice, especially if you want vegetarian, vegan or pescatarian options, and I would eat here again. This is one of those places where you can eat healthy without feeling like you're sacrificing flavor. They don't use seed oils, food coloring, artificial flavors, mayo, soy or added sugars, and they also make everything in-house. The soups are very good. The chicken vegetable is my favorite, but the lentil is really good too. The hot bar is sold by the pound, and I love the spaghetti squash and their meatballs are garlicky and delicious. I've loved everything except the chocolate strength protein shake, as it wasn't cold enough for me and I just didn't care for it. This place gets very busy, especially with the offices upstairs, so it's a convenient spot for people who work in the building. I miss working in this plaza because I don't get here as often as I'd like. It's a fantastic spot to grab a healthy lunch, meet a friend, get some work done, or even stop in for a glass of wine after work. OH YES, KALE CUCUMBER... Only my second time at a Living Green Cafe and first visit to this location. Massive outside covered patio area but feels over 105* today so chose to sit at a bar counter inside. Watched the drink chef prepare several mixed protein & veggie juice drinks and smoothies. They looked so healthy but was hesitant, so I asked the girl Rosie what she recommended and she advised on the "Living Green" juice drink. It was simply comprised of cucumber, celery, mint, kale, spinach, apple, lemon and ginger. Watched the chef place each fresh ingredient into the mega NutraFaster blender and witnessed the magic allowing for a personal interactive experience. The odd concoction was not cheap at $11.00 for a medium cup but the taste was fantastic and zero stomach pains after consuming the drink within minutes. A hint of most of the ingredients could be detected in each sip, but the lemon and mint were prominent. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with ceramic wood-like flooring throughout with green plants hanging and a bushy tree as the centerpiece. Its obvious that the theme was Healthy Eating. The gender neutral bathroom was ultra modern although needed some TLC, and the water from the sink's faucet was running full force. The fresh foods are pay by the pound. The vibrant colors of the veggies were enticing but the roasted curry chicken stole the spotlight. Will return for a few pounds of food on my next visit - excellent place. read more

This healthy eatery has the most beautiful display of freshly cooked dishes I've ever seen! So pretty that it made me want the roasted potatoes! So I did! Delicious! My hubby had a healthy green drink that I didn't care for but that's just me. Those drinks don't agree with my taste pallet. I rather have water. There was a big juicer that was used to add all the ingredients. Freshly squeezed! The employees were friendly and helped with any questions that arose and the cafe was decorated with a cozy feeling. There's a really nice outdoor patio in front but we chose to sit indoors because it was so hot outside. Living offers a very zen dining atmosphere. Wood, trees and plants line the inside and outside dining areas. They offer a varied menu of handhelds and plates as well as coffees, drinks and desserts. The sandwiches are pre-made. I'm not sure if you can make any to order. They have a nice variety of hot dishes to choose from. Efficient counter service. My girlfriend and I each got a plate. I had a chicken quarter, some broccoli and some chicken with yellow curry. I used to go to the Living Green in Fort Lauderdale when I worked over there. I loved their sandwiches, smoothies, and market, even though the market was a bit overpriced it was convenient. When I was over in this area with a friend, I checked my trusty Yelp for somewhere healthy to have lunch and I was excited to find Living Green up in Boca. I was even more excited once I got there. There was no market here (and perhaps the market is gone from Ft Laud, not sure). In its place is a large outdoor seating area, as well as a trendy, pretty indoor seating area. They have their trusty sandwiches, etc but also a salad/food bar- and they don't use seed oils!! I wanted to try a little of everything from the bar, so I got chicken, salmon, eggplant, mixed veggies, spaghetti squash, and I don't remember what else. It was all really tasty. My friend ended up getting a breakfast sandwich she enjoyed. I also was looking for caffeine, not quite a coffee, and was thrilled to find an unsweetened iced matcha tea that I was able to add my stevia to. It was a little pricey, but I think worth it for organic, homemade food. The girl who made my meal was a bit lackluster, but no big deal, we all have bad days. She wasn't nasty or anything, just not much of a personality. The indoor space was really pretty, but we moved outside as the music was a bit loud (old people problems). This place is nice! I like the vegan options available and I love that they offer gluten free in-house made desserts! I tried food from the hot station and was so surprised. The food was flavorful and a good variety of options, especially with me walking in an hour before closing. I got the kale salad, chicken breast, feta macaroni salad, mushrooms, potato wedges and the ground beef and rice. The ground beef was amazing and had a kind of Hispanic flavor flare to it. The chicken breast was juicy, but I think the cuts were a little too thick for my enjoyment. The cost of the hot food is by weight, so it can get pricy and then due to cost, I don't think it's worth it. The cost is $13.99 per pound and I paid close to $30. I think it was how large the chicken breast was. With the soda, it was spot on with being strawberry basil but, I did not pay attention to the ingredients until after I purchased while I assumed that everything in the restaurant was somewhat healthy. Was not a fan and wouldn't buy again. I wish I would have tried their smoothies and coffee. Nonetheless it was nice. The coffee is amazing here! The food is very yummy and healthy as well, it's your standard super healthy prices but to be honest it's worth the health benefits. I often order the chicken gordo wrap. The ambiance is the best part about this place though, I have come here a lot to do work or study. It's not super quiet but if it's cool enough outside you can always sit outside and do work there. They have decorated the space beautifully, both inside (with ample seating and plants) and outside (more seating and plenty of ambiance). When I lived in South Florida, this was one of my go to coffee shops for remote work or just getting out of the house and meeting up with friends. I decided to stop here Wednesday midmorning for some remote work to catch up on. One thing I really like about living green Café is that they have a great variety in their menu. They have a health conscious menu, serving everything from smoothies, juices, wraps, sandwiches, and even hot food that's freshly prepared. I decided to go with the veggie monster, which is a spinach wrap with Organic Quinoa, Avocado, Alfalfa sprouts, Hummus, Sundried Tomato, Red Onion. For my drink, I ordered the healthy and sexy juice, which is a beet juice with cucumber, kale, carrot, apple, and banana. The wrap was so filling especially with the quinoa. It was pressed and so hearty and flavorful. I'm not a vegetarian but I do like to opt in for healthier options and veggies - this was a great choice, highly recommend. I was only able to eat 1/2 of the wrap which I saved for lunch the next day. The juice was very fresh, and you can taste the sweetness of the apples and carrot along with the earthy flavor of the beets. The ambience is always great because it is a moderate level of sound, but not overly powering where you cannot get worked done. Sometimes it can be hard to find seating inside. It's not a huge café however, they do have great outdoor seating. I will continue to come here anytime. I'm back in town. I absolutely love this place. I have been a few times now and every time I find something absolutely delicious on the menu. I love that the menu is completely clean and seed oil free. I absolutely love their protein smoothies after working out. I also love the chicken wraps. They are full of veggies and fresh chicken to get your protein intake. I also love that they offer gluten-free and vegan bakery options if you're in the mood for a little treat. I went here for a meeting and was pleasantly surprised. All of the employees were very nice. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and it was very good. We had a meeting in the corner and we were able to stay as long as we needed. They also have bowls, sandwiches, wraps, juices, soups and more. They have a nice outdoor area as well where you can sit. This place is great for a fairly priced & healthy meal. The kids that work here are fantastic & attentive. I like to go & sit outside to get some fresh air as a break from work. There are many seats outside @ communal type tables. The one downfall is that they share a hallway with other businesses in the center. I'm not sure what kind of Ponzi takes place in the offices upstairs, but they all come down & smoke in the hallway & by Living Greens tables. Ruins the whole setting. Love it here. Found this place because of a no seed oil page I follow on Facebook. Working boca Raton today, decided to tell my co workers to have lunch with me here and it blew my mind. The atmosphere is dark but clean and modern beautiful spot. They also have an outdoor covered seating. Everything looks amazing but the hot bar took all our our attention. They have wraps, sandwiches, juices, smoothes, coffees, bowls, wraps shots you name it They have it. I ended up ordering a hot plate which is 13 per pd I got brocolli, kale salad, chickpea salad, carrots, potatoes, and rice. I'm speechless . Everything is absolutely delicious. I'm a college student so I've come to LG a lot of times to study. The ambiance of the cafe is very nice both in and out. I prefer the inside, but a lot of times it's taken up by other students / remote employees so sometimes I have to resort to the outdoor patio which is nice. My only complaint about the outside is the flies, but it's South Florida. There are bugs everywhere outside, all the time, and that's not something the employees can control. Regarding the food, some items are a "hit" while other items are a "miss" (not completely horrible, just ok). However, I have to say that all of them are way out of my budget range (which is typical for many healthy food-based restaurants/cafes). I definitely recommend the Hungry Man Burrito. I would say some misses are the "lox" bagel (it's not lox, just salmon on a bagel? it's not bad but not worth the price), and the chicken gordo wrap (it was like a salad in a wrap) Regarding the staff, all of them are really nice and are super efficient in getting food out. *Sometimes* with some of the wraps though, they don't heat it enough so the wrap is kinda cold in some areas but relatively warm in others. Service is always really quick no matter how many people are in the building Overall, if you're looking for a really nice cafe to study at, some wiggle room in your budget to spend on a meal, LG is the place! read more

It's a really cute place! I personally like the coffee more than the food. I got the Simple to eat, it was good but the cheese wasn't so melted and the egg was a bit off putting. The White Chocolate Mocha latte is incredible, very delicious. Service is very fast and I got my food after a short wait!
