    KALE, CUCUMBER, CELERY, MINT
    Daren R.

OH YES, KALE CUCUMBER... Only my second time at a Living Green Cafe and first visit to this location. Massive outside covered patio area but feels over 105* today so chose to sit at a bar counter inside. Watched the drink chef prepare several mixed protein & veggie juice drinks and smoothies. They looked so healthy but was hesitant, so I asked the girl Rosie what she recommended and she advised on the "Living Green" juice drink. It was simply comprised of cucumber, celery, mint, kale, spinach, apple, lemon and ginger. Watched the chef place each fresh ingredient into the mega NutraFaster blender and witnessed the magic allowing for a personal interactive experience. The odd concoction was not cheap at $11.00 for a medium cup but the taste was fantastic and zero stomach pains after consuming the drink within minutes. A hint of most of the ingredients could be detected in each sip, but the lemon and mint were prominent. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with ceramic wood-like flooring throughout with green plants hanging and a bushy tree as the centerpiece. Its obvious that the theme was Healthy Eating. The gender neutral bathroom was ultra modern although needed some TLC, and the water from the sink's faucet was running full force. The fresh foods are pay by the pound. The vibrant colors of the veggies were enticing but the roasted curry chicken stole the spotlight. Will return for a few pounds of food on my next visit - excellent place.

This healthy eatery has the most beautiful display of freshly cooked dishes I've ever seen! So pretty that it made me want the roasted potatoes! So I did! Delicious! My hubby had a healthy green drink that I didn't care for but that's just me. Those drinks don't agree with my taste pallet. I rather have water. There was a big juicer that was used to add all the ingredients. Freshly squeezed! The employees were friendly and helped with any questions that arose and the cafe was decorated with a cozy feeling. There's a really nice outdoor patio in front but we chose to sit indoors because it was so hot outside. There were a few tables with people working on their laptops while enjoying their food and drink. Great place to pick up food if you don't feel like cooking, but still wanna eat healthy.

Cozy cafe with lots of fresh food to choose from. Great space to gather in group or solo. Service was fast and friendly. Super cute cafe inside or the covered outside.

Smoothie was yummy but it's expensive. Apple tart was tasty. The real food there- wraps, sandwiches, and hot bar- looks really good and for a decent price. Will be back to try that. Cute vibe inside.

Yummy plentiful veggies and salads today on the hot and cold food selection ! Especially the Brussels sprouts salad ! Non spicy for a change ! Helpful service . Two servers behind the hot cold food so served quickly . Ambiance is pleasant and chill music flowing . A young and beautiful people gathering spot who want healthier food options . Needs more inside tables even at 2:30 pm !

Living green was awesome! We had one of the ready made options as well as the fresh hot bar. Both were fantastic! The service was great and was able to answer all questions we had. We sat and ate and enjoyed the vibes, but it also could be a great place to grab and go. There were tons of people working on computers which looks like the move. Will definitely be back.

Living offers a very zen dining atmosphere. Wood, trees and plants line the inside and outside dining areas. They offer a varied menu of handhelds and plates as well as coffees, drinks and desserts. The sandwiches are pre-made. I'm not sure if you can make any to order. They have a nice variety of hot dishes to choose from. Efficient counter service. Just an FYI the tables outside are beautiful wood, but from the wood shavings on and under the table it looks like they might have termites or other wood eating pests.

I used to go to the Living Green in Fort Lauderdale when I worked over there. I loved their sandwiches, smoothies, and market, even though the market was a bit overpriced it was convenient. When I was over in this area with a friend, I checked my trusty Yelp for somewhere healthy to have lunch and I was excited to find Living Green up in Boca. I was even more excited once I got there. There was no market here (and perhaps the market is gone from Ft Laud, not sure). In its place is a large outdoor seating area, as well as a trendy, pretty indoor seating area. They have their trusty sandwiches, etc but also a salad/food bar- and they don't use seed oils!! I wanted to try a little of everything from the bar, so I got chicken, salmon, eggplant, mixed veggies, spaghetti squash, and I don't remember what else. It was all really tasty. My friend ended up getting a breakfast sandwich she enjoyed. I also was looking for caffeine, not quite a coffee, and was thrilled to find an unsweetened iced matcha tea that I was able to add my stevia to. It was a little pricey, but I think worth it for organic, homemade food. The girl who made my meal was a bit lackluster, but no big deal, we all have bad days. She wasn't nasty or anything, just not much of a personality. The indoor space was really pretty, but we moved outside as the music was a bit loud (old people problems). It was much easier to talk out there and the outdoor space was nice as well. I absolutely enjoyed my lunch and would love to return.

Best place ever for studying, doing work, meet with someone, or chill. The music is such a vibe and the food is exceptional. They have everything; coffee, hot bar, sandwiches and wraps, fresh juices, smoothies, acai bowls, snacks, and bakery goods (baklava, vegan donuts, little cakes), etc. Everything is so unique and (I believe) Mediterranean-influenced, and HEALTHY. I love coming here and spend hours here when I do.

This place is nice! I like the vegan options available and I love that they offer gluten free in-house made desserts! I tried food from the hot station and was so surprised. The food was flavorful and a good variety of options, especially with me walking in an hour before closing. I got the kale salad, chicken breast, feta macaroni salad, mushrooms, potato wedges and the ground beef and rice. The ground beef was amazing and had a kind of Hispanic flavor flare to it. The chicken breast was juicy, but I think the cuts were a little too thick for my enjoyment. The cost of the hot food is by weight, so it can get pricy and then due to cost, I don't think it's worth it. The cost is $13.99 per pound and I paid close to $30. I think it was how large the chicken breast was. With the soda, it was spot on with being strawberry basil but, I did not pay attention to the ingredients until after I purchased while I assumed that everything in the restaurant was somewhat healthy. Was not a fan and wouldn't buy again. I wish I would have tried their smoothies and coffee. Nonetheless it was nice. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of mood I would need to be in to try them again!

This is literally a one stop shop. Best hot bar in town - sorry Whole Foods. Juices are so fresh and good. Half off wine on wednesdays and always such a good environment to study and eat. Prepare to spend some money but it is worth it!!!

5 Stars for a hidden gem of a coffee and healthy food spot located in a strip mall. Another moment I'm thankful for Yelp for guiding us to Living Green Cafe last time I was in town. As soon as we walked in, I was transported to a special, rustic oasis that made me wish I'd brought my computer for some coworking. They have decorated the space beautifully, both inside (with ample seating and plants) and outside (more seating and plenty of ambiance). When you're there, take a look at the awesome ingredients ready to be assembled into a bowl. Every element looked homemade and hearty. I also noticed they had wine, so you could go from coffee into happy hour with no problem. I look forward to returning for another fun coffee drink or maybe a matcha!

It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

Turns out they have been around for quite sometime and it was obvious they are in business to service the workers/staff in the area since they are closed on weekends and only serve breakfast and lunch. They have juices and coffees and smoothies... I ordered the STRAW-NANA (strawberry and banana); loved it. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and wraps; plus platters and bagels; plenty of options. My wife got their TORANI WRAP (eggs, tomatoes and sautéed spinach but she excluded the provolone). FIVE STARS. GAS STATION? YES. GAS STATION? ALSO YES…read more Let's get something straight. Some of the best food on earth comes from places that look like you shouldn't trust them. Gas stations. Side streets. Tiny counters with three tables and a refrigerator humming in the corner. I saw WhatSub on Yelp and thought, "Alright. Let's see if the hype survives State Road 7." It didn't just survive. It flexed. I am fully on board with five-star gas station cuisine. In fact, I seek it out. And WhatSub doesn't just play the game -- it competes internationally. This place comes dangerously close to Sandwich Master in Turin, Italy. I'm not exaggerating. And it narrowly beats out Generoso's in Coral Springs, which is not an easy feat. The bread? Legit. The meats? Layered like someone actually respects the architecture of a sandwich. The balance? No soggy mess. No overkill. No amateur hour. And then the cannoli. Freshly piped. Not pre-filled. Not sitting there getting sad and humid. Fresh. Filled to order. Shell still crisp. Ricotta smooth and balanced -- not overly sweet, not grainy, not lazy. Best cannoli I've had in South Florida since Lorenzo's in North Miami Beach. That's not a casual comparison. That's a statement. Now let's talk atmosphere. It's technically in a gas station plaza -- and yet the owners and staff are actually speaking Italian behind the counter. Not performative. Not touristy. Just normal conversation like you accidentally stepped into a deli in Torino. It feels real. So real that I went back the next day. And then again. I am not joking. When I ask myself, "What was my favorite thing?" the answer is dangerous: Everything I ordered. Cold subs. Hot subs. Cannoli. Repeat. This is the kind of place you almost don't want to write about because once the word spreads, lines get longer and secrets disappear. But credit where credit is due. WhatSub is proof that greatness doesn't need chandeliers. Sometimes it just needs good bread, proper technique, and someone who actually cares.

Came here because I saw it was a new Italian sub shop near my area. Saw good reviews and wanted to…read moretry it myself. Behind the counter was a husband/wife duo who were the business owners (didn't get their names) who stated they were from Sicily. After much deliberation, I decided to order the Arthur Ave and the Milano. The Arthur Ave is a cold sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, sun dried tomato. You have a choice of bread from white, wheat rolls, and focaccia. I was informed by the husband the focaccia is made fresh daily by his wife so of course I had to try that. The wife was nice enough to let me try a sample of the prosciutto and I have to say -- it was delicious, so getting it on a sandwich was going to be a no-brainer. The Milano was for my father. Watching them make the sandwich, they put two huge pieces of chicken cutlet, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and freshly sliced mozzarella. Again, I got the focaccia bread. Both sandwich's were drizzled on the top of the focaccia bread with fresh Italian olive oil which was just the cherry on top. I had told the owners it was my first time and we had a great conversation, that they were nice enough to give me and my parents 3 free mini cannolis -- which was completely unexpected and highly appreciated! As far as the food goes, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this sandwich was. From the delicious meats, the fresh veggies, and my personal favorite part -- that focaccia bread. I would buy that alone. They had specials on their menu the day I went that was a not on their menu -- a meatball sub and arancini balls. Also, keep in mind, that this shop is inside the Mobil gas station on 441 and SW 18th. There is a sign on the outside of the gas station, but if you're driving by and unsure of the location, I can confirm it is inside the Mobil. Overall, a great experience; delicious food, great people behind the counter. Only caveat I would say is it is a little bit higher price for a sandwich, but with the current economy where a McDonalds burger is over 10 bucks, you truly get what you pay for and that is top quality, fresh and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
