They source their grapes from Paso Robles, which truly shows in the quality of the wine. One of the owners, Doug, was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making sure we felt taken care of throughout the evening. Since it was a holiday night, the indoor space was packed and they weren't offering flights from the menu. However, they graciously allowed us to taste a few selections before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with live music setting the tone for a relaxed night out. While they don't serve full food options, there are light snacks available, and you're welcome to bring your own food which we happily did by putting together a charcuterie board right there. The outdoor seating area is especially cozy, complete with heaters and blankets for cooler evenings. This nearby gem has definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation.

The host person she was amazing and friendly and I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but she's been there for a long. Your wines are good little pricey for my taste for the options you get of mostly just red's or for what you get. I wish you had a better variety of whites. Anyways, we got in there. We sat on the couch in the front unfortunately for us. It was the only day we can come and they had a Christmas in July thing going on in the streets. Unfortunate for me as I've had a knee replacement and we drove around for 30 minutes trying to even find a parking spot to get in there cause we had to pick up our wines with the subscriptions /membership that we had. My daughter and her friend were there and enjoy their selves immensely so with all the hype that she was telling me about this place I was excited to go, but like I said, unfortunately, you were having Christmas in July nothing but screaming kids running around and the streets were packed... not what I wanted for a relaxing environment. But once we got into the establishment, like I said, we sat on the couch we started to have our tasting. It was peaceful and quiet and then all of a sudden these family start walking in with all their kids and it became a romper room. This is a winery. This is a place that adults go to relax shouldn't have children running under foot while you're trying to taste wines or just relax. That was the biggest disappointment I have with this place is that you allow children to run around I will not return. I'd rather go to a wine where I can relax... Again, the girl that waited on us absolutely amazing. She gets five stars. The fact that she let children and all this ruckus in there three star.

Customer service was still great, but I noticed a few changes that took away from the experience for us personally. I do like that the tastings are no longer in the plastic tubes, although the tubes did feel like they held a little more wine. What we didn't enjoy was that when multiple people ordered the same tastings, they were placed into the same shared glass/container. In our party of four, three of us had the same six tastings and had to share. I appreciated the bow on the glass showing the pours, but I preferred the previous setup where everyone had their own individual tastings. It may seem small, and thankfully our group was fine sharing, but it made the experience feel less personal and honestly made us less interested in doing tastings again on future visits. Some people also may not feel comfortable sharing containers or touching the same glass. Nothing terrible at all, just some feedback from longtime visitors who loved how it used to be. On this visit we actually ended up ordering a bottle afterward instead, and moving forward we'll probably just continue doing that rather than the tastings.

We went in for the wine tasting, which comes with five wines: one white, one rosé, and three reds. Their wines are definitely on the drier side. I really enjoyed their reds and their Chardonnay. They also have a cute little shop inside with snacks and gift options. I picked up some crackers and organic raspberry Red Vines, which was a fun little bonus. The downside for me was the tasting experience. Tastings are done at the counter, so we had to stand at the bar while tasting, even though there is plenty of beautiful seating throughout the property. There were three people working behind the bar. The two helpers were very kind, friendly, and seemed like they were learning the ropes. Unfortunately, the woman with the long black, curly/wavy hair seemed to be running the show, and her personality really put a damper on our experience. She came across as extremely cold and unwelcoming, and honestly looked like she didn't want to be there, girl looks miserable. We didn't stay after the tasting. I really like being able to relax and enjoy my time at a winery, and when the service feels unwelcoming, it takes away from the experience for me. I was there with two friends and was actually considering celebrating my birthday there, but I couldn't see myself spending more time in that atmosphere. So we decided to leave and head up the street to Reyes Winery...and honestly, I'm SO happy we did! If you're interested, head over to my Yelp and check out my review of Reyes Winery. But Reyes Winery completely turned things around for us! The drive in is beautiful. You take a dirt road that leads you into this gorgeous entrance with a water fountain surrounded by vines. It immediately gives you that peaceful, rustic winery feeling. When we walked into the tasting room, there were about 4-5 tables inside along with the bar. The gentleman working that day told us we could sit wherever we wanted and that he would bring the tasting to us. He was working alone and was clearly busy, so I was honestly surprised but very appreciative...that we could sit wherever we wanted and enjoy the view. My friends and I chose a table outside, and he brought us the tasting menu. Their wine tasting comes with 7 tastings, and I was really happy with the selection! What really made this experience special was the service. The gentleman helping us was absolutely wonderful...so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He was younger and had long hair...I really wish I had gotten his name because he deserves the recognition, but unfortunately I completely forgot. He was handling everything by himself and somehow still managed to make everyone feel taken care of. He kept checking on us, making suggestions, and chatting with us throughout our visit. He found out it was my birthday and even surprised me with a complimentary glass of wine, which I thought was incredibly kind! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the wine so much that we ended up staying for about two hours. It was such a fun, relaxed experience, and before leaving, all three of us bought bottles to take home to support the business. Thank you so much for making our experience so wonderful, light, and fun! We will absolutely be returning the next time we're in the area. If you're in the area and debating which winery to visit, give Reyes Winery a chance! Out of the wineries we visited, this was easily our favorite experience.

Let me begin with a disclaimer: this is a 5 star review entirely because of Pam and Laura…read more We recently hosted a high school sports banquet at The Oaks Club and overall it was a wonderful experience. Pam, Sales Director - Private Events, and Laura, Private Event Services Manager, were truly one of the best teams I have ever worked with. I've been organizing banquets and events for many years at a variety of venues, and they stand out at the very top. They were professional, responsive, detail oriented, and genuinely invested in making our event special. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and they anticipated needs before we even had to ask. They truly elevated our banquet to another level for our deserving coaches, families, and players. Amanda, the banquet captain, and her team also did an amazing job the night of the event. They were attentive, organized, and kept everything running smoothly. The room looked beautiful, service was seamless, and the entire evening felt polished and well executed. The food was also really good, which honestly can be a question mark when you're serving a large buffet to a huge crowd. You just never know what the quality will be like in those situations. The Oaks Club absolutely delivered. The food was fresh, well prepared, and plentiful, and we received many compliments from the guests. That said, I do want to share one concern. Another sports team from our school, which does not have a booster club and therefore must process payments through the school district and school account, ran into an issue during the contracting process. Instead of the club's legal counsel contacting the school district directly to discuss his concerns, he chose to insert his own revised verbiage into the contract. Understandably, the school district was not comfortable with those changes, and unfortunately the banquet arrangements fell through as a result. The team then had to scramble to find another location that would sign the contract according to district requirements. It was disappointing, especially since this could have likely been resolved through direct communication. Ultimately, it felt like a big loss for The Oaks Club on a weekday night over what seemed to be a few negotiable wording adjustments. If the legal counsel hopes to bring in future business from local high school teams, he needs to figure out a smoother process for these contract situations. While our event itself was a success and we're very grateful to Pam, Laura, Amanda, and the entire team for their efforts, I hope future situations involving school issued payments are handled with clearer communication and collaboration with the appropriate parties. Thank you Pam, Laura and team!  You guys are the best!
