This location is pretty close to where I live but until this weekend I hadn't visited. A friend of mine said that he really enjoys a brand of English ale so I thought I would check it out and see if they have it here since you can't get it at supermarkets and I hadn't seen it at other liquor stores. When I walked in I saw a huge selection of bourbons off to the left side of the store so I gravitated over there....oh my...! How dreams do come true because they had so many brands that I have not seen locally....I could get in serious trouble so I made a mental note to come back for a "treat yo' self" day. Back to the cooler, I couldn't find the ale so as I was walking out I told the clerk how impressed I was with the bourbon selection and said I was looking for an ale but didn't see it. He said which and I told him "Old Speckled Hen" yep, that is the name but don't laugh it is really good. He said they have it and walked back and sure enough I missed it. I bought it and my friend was overjoyed to see it and said he thought it could only be found in pubs on draft...I told him about the bourbon selection as well as the location to buy more of the ale. Do I come here to much? Naw but I do frequent here often. Why because they have everything I need after long day. Whether it's candy, chips adult mommy's juice such as wine or imported beer. Some DJ blanco or 1942. Even place for when I need to bring a house warning gift Japanese whiskey or Irish whiskey. Even have milk, eggs and bacon haha very resourceful. Customer service is awesome I love "Mo"! He's always positive pretty much all the employees are. They seem happy and very approachable. They all know what's good so don't be discouraged on asking them for an opinion or two. Prices are pretty fair so no complaints. It's also very clean. If you're in the area and plan to enjoy a night or have a relaxing night come here to stock up. read more

Went into Sunrise to check out their selection of craft beer and they did not disappoint at all. The store is very well kept and the Gentleman who helped me was very friendly. They also have a pretty decent selection of cigars on hand. The store itself is setup very well by selections of different liquors . I will be going back for sure. read more

Sign says masks required to shop here but the guy behind the counter wont wear one and there were people shopping without masks. I asked him about the people without masks because I had my 80 year old father with respiratory problems waiting in the car outside and the clerk basically sid he didn't care and was "over it". They Mark up their cigarettes $3 more than 711. Complete sham!, And the dude behind the counter was super rude when asked why they were so expensive saying it's just tax. Told him 711 was almost $3 cheaper, he gave a bunch of attitude and said to go there then whilst waving his hand. I don't know what took me so long to write this review, but here it is at any rate! Speaking of rate,I rate this store A++++ I walk to this store on an almost daily basis for a big bottle of cold water after my walk, a bottle of Starbucks for a treat, and whatever else in between! This store is clean, reasonably priced,and well stocked with a large assortment of items. The service here could not be any better. I have encountered a handful of gentlemen behind the counter here, and all have been courteous and capable. One of the gentlemen I have most of my interactions with couldn't be any sweeter or more genuine.They are friendly here and I am always comfortable in this store. I am glad this store is close by and highly recommend it to all! FYI I have never bought alcohol here so I am sorry I cannot offer any information other than it does appear to be well stocked! read more

Catch-up review The city of Valencia is known for its nearly 30 miles of extensive system of paved pathways called Paseos that connect the entire community together, making it possible to travel around nearly all of the city on foot or by bicycle without having to cross main boulevards or avenues. Well...I so happened to bump into this business nestled in a very small shopping center between a connected paseo while jogging one day. But so what right? Well, in the City of Valencia, liquor stores are scarce and as a matter of fact, if you noticed, the name of this store inconspicuously hides the word 'Liquor' in its ghetto form. But I can assure you that its selection of gourmet/imported booze, fine wines, and top shelf bottles but @ ghetto prices. Yes! Competitive to BevMo and other chain stores. Parking: Lotsa parking. To people complaining that they sell brewery release only beers, quit complaining. They are giving you a chance to taste beers you would otherwise never be able to try in your life. With limited beer comes a higher price, try getting a bottle of Pappy and complain about exorbitant pricing. Stop being backpackers. Otherwise this place has a great selection and Wally is the man. They have a nice selection of craft beer, and do a good job of listing new arrivals on social media. Prices are fair, customer service is okay. One bad thing they do is sell beer that they shouldn't because it's brewery release only. In other words they go to special release events at breweries, buy the beer (limited release beer), and then attempt to re-sell it at exorborant prices. Few places in SCV have the quality of wine that Sunrise has. It's the main reason why we come back every week. This place has been here forever. I remember playing video games and eating at the deli as a kid in the 80s when this place was twice the size it is now. I can't imagine we could have a better neighborhood store. Best selection. My husband enjoys craft beer and he really loves the selection here. The owner is very knowledgeable in beers and gives great recommendations. They carry lots of rare beers that we can't find in some of the bigger beer stores. read more

Came here after dinner at Mulligan's. Wasn't expecting much and if you''re looking for a deli, you won't get much. If you're looking for booze though, watch out. This place is a hidden gem. Lots of quality beer, wine and liquor choices and the prices are really competitive and many times, better than the chain stores. Not much to look at and if you wanted that, you'd hit up BevMo. Very nice local wine and liquor store. I went in looking for specific types of wine that I didn't (not surprisingly) find at the local Ralphs. Now, I find lots of good items at my Ralphs, I'm not knocking the easy go to middle of the road variety.. But I need something off the beaten path and Sunrise helped me out. They didn't have my specific bottles but we found, and I mean we - very helpful man named Wally - 3 bottles that offered my tasters variety and a surprise or 2. I'll be back to purchase from here again. I would have given a 4 star because they didn't have any of my 5 choices but they got 5 because he was as helpful and knowledgable as any one could have been! He even referred me to other wine shops down in LA.. Glad I found it local. read more

One of the best neighborhood liquor stores I've lived next to. I used to come here in the 80s to play video games and buy candy. In the 90s I used to get lunch at the deli. Sadly, both the video games and deli are gone but there's plenty of candy and an outstanding selection of wine and spirits at great prices. Lots of bottles from the Paso Robles area too, one of my favorite areas to go tasting. Even though I miss how the place used to be, I'm glad it's still around. read more

This is the best store in the valley. Although I read all the liquor reviews...this is not a liquor store. Lol. I can always find what I need. Store is always spotless and absolutely everyone who works there is super pleasant and friendly. This is my go to store for all my grocery and liquor needs. Great prices and cant beat the personal friendly service. They even help me with my groceries out to my car. Great job!! Lines are never long and if they start to get long they open another register right away. I leave the store with a nice relaxed happy feeling. Unlike other markets where all you see is crowds, dirt, and too many rude people and I leave the store feeling stressed and mad. I can not say enough wonderful things about this store but thank you thank you thank you. Sunrise has the best selection of Bourbon in Santa Clarita by a long shot. The fact that they would carry Elmer T. Lee and Rip Van Winkle shows that they know what is good and worth getting. I recommend Sunrise over any other liquor, especially Bev Mo. When I start my Whiskey Society, I will definitely send everyone to Sunrise. read more
