Their staff is the most professional I've ever seen in the Medical field. Just incredible, fast, efficient, perfect service. Now this is the fun post. My new puppy actually chewed up my very expensive Titanium Eye Glasses. I went to Quigley, and showed them the bird nest he created. True story- the lady in the center was wonderful. I said "My dog ate my glasses". She said let's take a look. In 15 minutes she re-formed my glasses perfectly. I said I bought them up North. She said not to worry, you our patient now. They're perfect now. True story!

I had cataract surgery a year ago and since then have dealt with a large floater that degraded my…read morevision in my right eye. I was advised by other medical professionals that the brain will adjust and I won't notice it after awhile. Well, they were wrong as it has been a year of trying to adjust. After extensive research on treatments, I learned that there were two options...Vitrectomy, where some or all vitreous gel is surgically removed from the eye, including the floaters, or Laser Vitreolysis, where a laser is used to break up the floaters. However, after a Google search, I found Dr Geller in Fort Myers, FL, which is only a few hours away from my home. His staff was great in scheduling my exam, and subsequently assisting Dr Geller with the procedure. After two treatments, my giant floater appears to have been reduced by 60%. I plan to wait a few weeks to see how things settle out and would happily make the trip for a third treatment to clean up the rest. I highly recommend Dr Geller.

That doctor did a less than stellar job and one of the lenses was starting to slip so a replacement was getting rather imperative. This doctor is apparently the very best in the Fort Myers area at this type of surgery- unfortunately he knows it. From the big building with his name in 10 feet high letters to certificates, commendations, and magazine covers plastered throughout every exam and waiting room I understood immediately he was either good or full of himself. Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful he fixed my dad but his bedside manner is crap. The nurses seem to have the same brusque attitude. A hello goes a long way in establishing some semblance of a healthcare professional/patient relationship. It might just be me but to my way of thinking, anybody that needs THAT much recognition and can't even offer up a "Hello Kimmer's, Dad" upon being graced with his presence a full 93 minutes after his scheduled appointment time isn't someone I hold in high regard. With that being said would I recommend him for your loved one? Darn right. He IS that good.
