Abraham was our server and we were extremely disappointed. Our food was delicious but the service completely ruined our experience. I asked for Smiley fries instead of regular fries before he left our table. However he had already entered our order so he sighed and said "I already entered it? Now I'll have to go back and tell the cook myself!" I said okay? Well can you please? And he sighed and walked away. We stopped by for a late dinner and ordered a variety of dishes. We enjoyed our meal. The only thing was that the ribeye steak was overcooked, but our waiter took it back and brought us a delicious medium rare. The customer service is great. There is half off on the wine list on Tuesdays. They were busy so took over a half hour to receive our meal. The interior is put together nicely with plenty of tables and booths, and big-screen TVs to watch your favorite sport. There is also outdoor patio seating. My friend and I went there for lunch and both ordered loaded burgers. It was Loaded Burger Wednesday. Ruby was our server. We usually eat at the bar counter and served by the bartender. This time we got a table and Ruby served us. She was wonderful. She was very attentive and made sure everything was ok. The food was great and the service was even better. Kelly, I think she's the General Manager, even checked up on us to make sure we were being taken care of. This location is great because it's clean and accessible! I enjoy visiting every so often. The service is solid on a busy or slow day and all the food and drinks come out great. Last night we had Andrew as our server in the bar. He was very kind and pleasant. We ordered an appetizer and our meals from the 13$ meal deal which is a great value. I spent over $100 on a to-go order this past Saturday early evening, only to discover the biggest BUG/INSECT and/or ROACH buried in my Caesar salad. I probably would've ate it had I not decided to toss the salad first, which is crazy! It's ABSOLUTELY unacceptable, disgusting & careless. I was utterly shocked and still am to be honest. I can't imagine my other food items weren't contaminated in some way. I truly can't believe that and I have so many questions. The portion was on the smaller side and the pasta was a bit dry. Honestly, this place can be hit or miss depending on what you order. Came here hungry after our daughter's vball tournament. Party of 8 on a late Sunday afternoon, the wait wasn't too long, maybe 5-10 mins. Danielle was our server, she said she was new. She was great, friendly customer service. We ordered calamari, smash burger, Alfredo pasta- they were able to sub out the chicken for shrimp. Warm inside. Where's the cool AC? This heatwave is so bad. We need a nice, cool, place to enjoy a meal. We were sweating the entire dinner. No bueno. The food was good. The appetizers are always my favorite. I love the spinach and artichoke dip and the mozzarella sticks. We got the sampler platter. I got a salad and added salmon on top. The salmon filet was thin. I wish it was bigger and had more meat. That's okay, I guess. Salad itself was fresh. My husband got a burger and enjoyed it. My mom got a veggie bowl, and my dad got steak. I'm not sure who is responsible for this decision but surely they could've done literally anything else to their menu. Anyways. We ordered tea and were brought chamomile instead of Earl Grey. When we asked about it, our server told us they didn't have anything else. We also asked for honey, and it was brought in a small plastic cup, which felt unprofessional. We then waited about 45 minutes for our food. By the time our pizza arrived, we had already lost our appetite and the pizza was very bad not tasty at all like that one we order in irvine off Jamboree. My family truly loves BJ's, and we regularly dine at the location near our home, where we've always had great experiences. That's why this visit was especially disappointing. read more

Came in on Friday night to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was packed. The restaurant has lots of seating inside and outside, but they are always busy. Luckily, we were able to get a booth at the bar which is first come first serve. There's big screen TVs all over the restaurant, so you can watch your sport games while eating. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. She kept our drinks refilled. The food came out quickly and it was tasty. We loved the lemon pepper wings that are bone-in instead of boneless. Their deep dish pizza is always good. The avocado egg rolls were a bit soggy and mushy so it wasn't my favorite. The sliders were very good and yummy. UPDATE - June 2026 After another four months of regular visits, I wanted to update my review because BJ's continues to deliver one of the best bar and happy hour experiences around. Tara remains absolutely outstanding. She's attentive, friendly, quick, and always on top of every detail. Whether it's special requests, extra condiments, drink refills, or simply making guests feel welcome, she consistently goes above and beyond. She's a huge reason I keep coming back. I'd also like to recognize the rest of the bartending team. Oscar is newer but comes across like a seasoned pro from day one. McKenna, Vivian, and Rave continue to provide exceptional service, and Bri is quickly establishing herself as another great addition to the team. Every bartender I've encountered has been friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on creating a great experience. As for the food, the Chicken Parmesan is outstanding. Be sure to ask for a garlic knot on the side, along with fresh Parmesan cheese and chili flakes. The mozzarella sticks are excellent when they're hot and fresh, and the Happy Hour menu remains one of the best values around. The flatbread pizzas and chips and guacamole are always favorites. I also highly recommend the BJ's Beer Club. Between the pizza, appetizer, Pizookie, seasonal beer, and take-home beer selections, it's one of the best restaurant loyalty programs I've found.
