We visited the Sizzler in Riverside with our family after a funeral service. This restaurant has always held a special place for us, as it was the favorite restaurant of the loved one we were honoring that day. Sizzler has been a staple in our family for as long as I can remember, and even though I now live in Nevada, it still feels comforting and familiar when visiting Cali. Overall, the food was good and came out on time. The quality of the food was what we've come to expect from Sizzler, the food never disappoints . Some of us ordered the steak unlimited shrimp and unlimited cheese toast, and while the first serving was great, we never received a refill or were asked . Since I tend to wait patiently and don't like to interrupt the servers, we just waited. When I made a quiet comment at our table about the cheese toast going quickly (we were only brought a couple of pieces), the waitress overheard and mentioned that there were only two servers working that day I completely understand how difficult that can be, and I truly empathize with the staff it just felt like a situation where management support could have made a big difference, as they were just standing by the registers. There were about five of us who ordered the unlimited shrimp, so the delays made it less worthwhile. By the time refills might have come around, we weren't even hungry anymore. Because of that, I'd probably recommend ordering the steak and shrimp platter instead of the unlimited shrimp, which would save a few dollars and avoid the wait. You will only end up getting one serving anyways. One other small note is that the salad bar and dessert bar could have been a bit cleaner and tended to. This may have also been related to how busy the restaurant was. This review is shared with appreciation and the hope that additional staffing during busy hours could help both the hardworking servers and guests have an even better experience. Really didn't have any expectations since we haven't been to a sizzlers in YEARSSS. But there was nothing to complain about. I got the salad bar for $17. The price was more than fair. Fresh salad and toppings to choose from. Their food selection at the salad bar was very kid friendly. Their complimentary cheese toast was AMAZING. My husband ordered their streak and jumbo shrimp( not pictured ). But he said the steak was a clean cut, and had great flavor. The ice cream bar was the cherry on top, great tasting frozen yogurt. Long bench seating area when the wait times are a bit longer. There's booth or table seating great for large groups or lunchtime. Salad bar was clean and organized. One of the better tasting clam chowder locations and chicken wings were nice & crisp. Unlimited cheese bread! Salads were crisp with some premixed add all your favorite toppings. Always had a good meal there. Love their salads, spaghetti, their soup or chicken wings. Their steaks a very tasty but on the tuff side. If you want it rare you have to order it extra rare otherwise it comes more medium rare. I do recommend going here. You can't go wrong eating here. read more

They remodeled the sizzler here in Corona and it looks very nice. I got the 6 ounce tri-tip steak and added the salad bar. It was extremely delicious and the service was great and there was even a guy checking all the temperatures of the food around the salad bar, which was nice to see. No longer an affordable restaurant for seniors. Recently the menu has been changed to no longer offer the smaller plates or senior menu options that included a small salad. Now to get a salad with any of the entrees, you can only order the entire all you can eat salad bar. A small salad is not a choice for one of the sides. So if you want a salad with your meal you have to purchase the entire salad bar as no small salad is offered. Exactly as you would expect Sizzler to be! Good salad bar and food that delivers as you expect it to. This place gets a raw deal from way too many people. If you are looking for a bargain steak and shrimp combo, this is your spot. The value is truly there. The people are kind at the register, and the cheese toast...oh my, brings me back to 1980. We hadn't been to this Sizzler in 10 years or longer and recently rediscovered it and it's AMAZING! The small plates are delicious and you get salad and a drink with it if you are over 60! Everything is super fresh and you get free cheese bread with it. The place has been packed and the servers are really friendly and accommodating! What a great experience! read more

Haven't been to this one in a while. We cake for our Dads 91st BD, he likes it here, so do I. We were able to sit towards the back due to the amount of people that were coming. When we showed up, it was relatively quiet, but it got a little louder as time went on still a cozy place to come eat, though. Many different plates were ordered. I ordered a ribeye. Medium rare plus the salad bar. You have to get the salad bar, always,lol. All the plates came out in a timely fashion. My streak was delicious!! Cooked as asked!! Had it with baked potato. I also got the salad bar. You have to get the salad bar,lol Had a bowl of menu do, which was pretty good, and their fried chicken, which I really like. Service was on point. The selection was not as wide compared to other Sizzlers we have been to. Salad bar was decent but the taco bar was not appealing as the taco meat seemed dry. Although the guy helping us at the register was pleasant, the server we had something against us? I don't know but for some reason she seemed to have an issue with us. Although friendly with other patrons, it seemed like she did anything to avoid our table so it was difficult trying to ask for the Texas toast. She only asked us how we were once and left whatever dishes we had there while she'd collect dishes from the other patrons tables. Not sure why she had beef with us but it was a huge turn off. Went early on a Saturday morning. The ambiance is super retro. We ordered salad bar. Very disappointed in the selection compared to other Sizzlers. The choices were not fresh. No signage. Soup was not fresh at all. The 2 pieces of famous toast were burnt on top and soggy on bottom. If you're looking for a sizzler... this is not the one. Hard pass. Food was ok at best. Salad bar was picked through and not replenished and the infamous cheese toast was slacking big time! It's like they cut the normal slices in half so they were much thinner than usual! Not to mention they were very soggy and not toasty at all. Our waitress however, was very friendly and attentive. Top notch service ! We ordered steak and shrimp and they were cooked to our liking. My husband rave about how well cooked the baked potatoes to perfection just how he likes them, lol ! The steak was tender and the shrimps were succulent and fried just right! I ordered salad with my meal, it could be better, for me it didn't have the usual selections they had before in the past, as I recall. We came in early so it's still fairly clean and organized. The biggest turn off for us is the cheese bread, it looks great just like the pictures but is so GREESY, it'll give you a heart attack just looking at it. Overall Rating: 3.75 stars It looks like they did a renovation to this Sizzlers. It looks pretty modern and was pretty bustling when our group was there. When you walk-in, you'll be faced by the cashier and the menu board. There's a lot of good options such as steak, seafood platters etc. For me, I got the 6oz Tri-Tip Steak. It's a combo, so I ordered it with Broccoli and a Baked Potato - the sides were good, especially the baked potato. It was delicious. The tri-tip was a little above cooked, even though I requested it be made medium. I say order a level below your liking, so that you'd get the steak the way you want it. The soup station was also good, and I got to try the clam chowder, which was also pretty good. Didn't get to try the soft serve station, but will have to next time! Parking is pretty much open here, as it's located with other businesses in the complex. The staff is friendly here and if you want a no-fuss meal, this is a good Sizzlers to dine in. read more

I ordered the Malibu chicken sirloin steak and shrimp. the quality of the chicken is that of a frozen food section in the grocery store. the sirloin steak was a 6/10. the shrimp was the quality of frozen food.
