We've been dinning at BJ locations for the past 20 years. When we relocated from SoCal to Colorado in 2018, we were glad to know there were some locations here as well. The CO locations are great, but don't seem to be as good as the SoCal locations. With that said, we've always had great service at this particular location. Our only wish is that we had a location closer to us on the south side of the Denver Metro (e.g., Littleton, Highlands Ranch). The brews are always great. The Jeremiah Ref is always a family favorite. So glad to see the email today announcing it won at the World Beer Cup. The food is always good as well with a use range of options. The HICKORY BRISKET AND BACON burger was great. The limited time Wagyu Burger was also decent, but our family all agreed the hickory brisket was the best dish at the table. read more

We stopped into this BJs since it is conveniently located near the Colorado Mills mall. We chose to sit outside on such a nice day- they have a nice patio seating area that wraps around the building. We ordered a couple of appetizers, special drinks, and 4 entrees. The fried pickles were tasty, the quinoa Mac-n-cheese bites hot and cheesy (I didn't really see any quinoa in them, but they were still good), and the cup of cheddar broccoli soup was thick and creamy. I was impressed with the generous portion of guacamole on my burger and I liked their fries. I think their prices are a tad higher than expected, but I can honestly say that the food was great and we came home with a few leftovers as well. read more

This was my first time to a BJ's in years and honestly it was just okay. I've always loved BJ's but this visit was just eh. We went during October and thus got Halloween themed cocktails which were fun. For meals we then got the deep dish ziti, Asian bone in wings, Asian noodle dish, and prime rib. The deep dish ziti was an interesting concept but the pepperoni was so overpowering and low grade quality. The wings and Asian noodles and prime rib were all good but nothing to rave about. Came here on a Monday around lunch with a friend. I was surprised at how busy it was in the middle of the day. We had to wait around 5 minutes but luckily, they had lots of seating inside since it starting raining. Seemed to be fairly understaffed, our waitress was running around doing her best but had way too many tables. Unfortunately, that meant drinks and condiments were forgotten. The burger was very dry, and we had to ask for some extra sauce. The parm shrimp was okay but clearly wasn't fresh. The one thing that was quite good is the pizookie. Can't go wrong there. It's 8:30pm. We are trying to have a quick bite with our toddler and deaf 3-month old. We've been to BJs countless times - specifically this location by Colorado Mills Mall. We walk in, the hostess works in finding us a booth, with the majority of the restaurant empty. She finds a "safe spot out of people's way." We sit down, get everyone situated. Our youngest is in her stroller crying and we are taking her out to feed her. My older daughter is already coloring and we are ready to order. A smug manager by the name of "Kelly" approaches and tells us we cannot have a stroller in the big aisle. "You can't sit here, it's not allowed." "Your hostess specially sat us here?" By this time, our little one is happily being fed. "I don't care what she told you, I won't allow it. I'm the manager." Kelly keeps a smug smile on his face. He also tells me directly that it's a safety hazard for servers to lift anything over people / objects. I'm assuming they don't allow handicap people at that rate.... Long story short, he doesn't have kids, doesn't care about families and we left. If you're in the area looking for places to go, Red Robin allows families in tighter areas, Yard House has massive booths and, again, no concern with families, strollers, etc. To BJs - we've been going there for over a decade with friends, family, office parties. No more - you hired a terrible manager who clearly can't train his staff and simply doesn't support kids & families. read more

We had the BJ wings, Mac and cheese what is it called the mac & cheese bites, and two different pizookies (we had to take some home). After a day of entertaining our 4-year-old grandson and running a few errands, we stopped at the BJs by Colorado Mills for a late dinner. We were seated quickly and our waiter, Mark, was very attentive. Our drinks and food were delivered quickly and the entrees were just what we expected. Mark checked on us, without hovering and made sure we had everything we needed. After dinner and a Pazookie, we were ready to go. The food and service was very good. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was the music was VERY loud. It's a Sports Bar/ Restaurant so I should expect some noise. But I'll check for speaker location next time. read more

I came for the pizookie but that ended up to be the most overrated! Everything else was better than the dessert. First of all, it's a very comfortable space to be in, especially if you like watching sports! The menu offers quite lot but that day, light food sounded the best so we both had salads with seafood. One with tuna and the other with salmon. The best isn't even the fish, it's the salad dressing. A hint of ginger makes it so good. We even asked to buy a pint to take home!! I'll have to come back and try the bar and grill type of offerings. Probably will skip the pizookie. It's at best overcooked. If not for the ice cream, it's be hard to pick on and enjoy. Toss up between two and three stars... the whole encounter was slightly awkward, but I am one who tries to see the positives when I'm faced with a bit of discomfort. The saving grace was the kind manager towards the end of our visit, which I will get into later. I met my baby sister for dinner recently; BJ's was conveniently located to where we were at the time and seemed to have some bomb menu selections for the both of us - she's somewhat vegetarian and I will eat just about anything. I've been to various BJ's locations over the years and always enjoyed myself when I stopped in so I was expecting a similar experience during this visit. This BJ's is across the street from a pretty busy shopping mall and there is a smaller strip mall and other independent businesses in the vicinity of the restaurant, so parking is ample and you know they get a lot of traffic. We ordered a couple of soups and a salad to start off with but were pretty underwhelmed almost immediately. We noticed a slight oversight right off the bat; there is an option for a cup of soup and salad combo that worked out to be a smaller portion (and price), but we received two large bowls and a bigger side salad than we were expecting. Not a huge deal, but it was more food than we were expecting and also came with a slightly bigger price tag (roughly $4/person). The soups were also somewhat cold so that was kind of a bummer. We decided to follow up the soups with loaded chicken nachos and the avocado egg rolls... we were feeling like just picking at some snacks rather than having a whole big meal, so this seemed perfect! Nachos are always a huge hit and the egg rolls were something that looked interesting enough for us to just want to try. The amount of time it took to receive the rest of our order wasn't too long, but both the egg rolls and the nachos were just not good. The food did not look or taste fresh. It seemed like the nachos had been sitting under a lamp for too long and the egg rolls were super greasy and over fried - none of the food was as hot as you'd expect and we both kind of lost our appetites at this point. Our server was pretty scarce during our visit, so when we asked for the check with basically full plates, the awkwardness of disclosing that we did not enjoy the meal was kind of painful... he didn't really know what to say other than "this isn't something I can do" and went to grab his manager. I hate having these types of interactions because I genuinely feel bad for sending food back to the kitchen, but we really just wanted to pay our tab and leave. One of the managers stopped by a couple minutes later to talk with us, and I swear this was the most positive interaction we had during the entire visit! I do not recall his name, but he was super kind, very personable, and ended up removing a portion of our bill with the comment "I am not going to have you pay for food you did not eat." BJ's is one of those big chains with tons of locations, lots of staff, and lots of customer traffic - I am sure I will find myself there again. I'd be totally willing to give them another shot to revise my review down the road, but this location has definitely left a weird taste in my mouth, so to speak. read more

First off, they really got to make the lunch menu more obvious. Sneakily placing it in the back of the promo menu is just shay-dee. Took our waiter to point it out before I almost busted the economy on ordering massive dinner plates that I planned storing half for the winter in my thighs like a bear. So crisis averted. My neighbor took me out for my birthday. She had been here before and enjoyed her meal. It had been a long time since I ordered a burger in a restaurant so I decided to order the smokehouse burger with sweet potato fries. Our meals arrived fairly quickly and although my burger was done as I ordered, I didn't get sweet potato fries, regular fries accompanied my burger. The waitress promptly brought the fries I ordered. I found the dining room to be very noisy and even though our booth was located towards the back of the restaurant, every time the entrance door opened we were hit with a blast of cold air. When this BJs first opened everything was great. Service, food, Atmosphere and value for the money. IDK what happened but BJs seems to have lost its way. At one point we would not return because of poor service. But since we have returned the service has been Stellar! The are some good items on the menu and some not so good. The killer is the prices. If the food was outstanding I wouldn't take issue with the pricing. They do have a pretty good happy hour. But be aware if you use the BJs app to pay the bill. If you buy anything at happy hour price the app will default to tipping on the regular price of your items. Someone in corporate forgot that the lower price is what is attractive about happy hour. Ordered pizza and wings here to go. Not bad for bar food! The pizza had flavor, plenty of toppings, and a nice medium thick crust. I would say the only critique is I wish it was a little crispier and not as soft. The wings were nicely sized, not frozen, and generously seasoned. I believe it was some sort of bbq sauce. read more

We returned to this place to have a meal, celebrate a birthday and watch a sporting event. They have plenty of screens to watch while you enjoy your meal. We went on a Wednesday and were a party of 8. The service was great and he pointed out that Wednesdays was $11 loaded burgers night. Yes! Most of us ordered burgers with fries. Now I should mention that their fries are quite good and aside from ketchup our server gave us ranch dressing for dipping. I believe for the birthday our server then brought several cookies covered with ice cream. Delicious! So we enjoyed the food, the service and the game! The menu is vast and I must remember the Wednesday special. I've upgraded this restaurant and while it can be pricey for some menu items I think overall this place deserves a top mark for what they provide for customers. We came here since we have never tried this place before, and regardless of the poor rating, we gave it a try. Our waitress Kailey was amazing. She is the only reason for most of the stars I am giving. We could tell it was not her day but she still smiled with her eyes and was very on it with refills, asking if we were okay, and if we needed anything at all. I ordered the Mediterranean grilled chicken pita tacos and it was really really appetizing! I enjoyed it very much. My husband ordered the prime rib dip and he was extremely disappointed. The meat was over cooked, tasted like it was from the day before, the dip was cold - like it came straight out of the refrigerator. Brought my two kids and neither of them liked the Mac n cheese very much (it is basically just a whole box of Kraft, each) so the server brought some noodles w/butter for my daughter which she ate. You have to get BJs special off the tap root beer so so amazing and the food was very delicious and excellent and our waitress was very quick and efficient and knew exactly what we wanted! I could forgive that given our party was 8 people but the other 7 in my party got their food but mine wasn't out because "the kitchen ran out of fries". It took another 20 minutes for my sandwich to come out burnt with barely a handful of fries. They still tried to charge me for the side salad and Pepsi! My chicken really didn't have much flavor, broccoli over cooked and mashed potatoes lukewarm at best. My wife and I were recently here and ordered a BJs Favorite pizza. It was a disappointment because it was rather dry. It had hardly any sauce on it. So, it was like eating just toppings on a deep dish crust. I've had a pizza here before and it contained an adequate amount of sauce. A previous visit here had us experience undercooked chicken wings and a bloody hamburger. It seems they have kitchen staff issues. We like the place so I hope these experiences do not continue. read more

My ribs were delicious, my salad was fresh and I loved the clam chowder. The rest of my family enjoyed their food as well. The restaurant was bright and looked clean. Last few times there has been wrong burger rang in, wrong pizza rang in, to go order brought out multiple times to be eaten at restaurant instead of boxed to go so it was cold in the end, multiple beers out of stock, not always but often poor customer service including from manager and last but not least a cook coming out of stall from dropping a deuce and not washing his hands.
