We visited this establishment on two occasions during our Colorado vacation. If I lived in the area, I'd probably have it in my regular rotation. Aside from a tiny parking lot, there wasn't a lot to complain about. On both visits we had excellent service. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly and knew exactly when to return to our table. What I witnessed from all employees gave me the sense they enjoyed working there. The restaurant offers a great happy hour. Good discounts on food and drink. It also covers a fair number of hours. I'd be attracted by that alone. There is something for everyone on their menu. The food came out quickly and was well prepared on both of our visits. It was very tasty and the portion sizes were very good. I had their special Royale Burger on my first visit. Knowing their corned beef was made in-house, made getting their Classic Reuben a slam dunk on my second visit. My dining partner agreed that the food was very good. Prices, atmosphere and service were all great. If you are looking for a place in the area, don't pass up an opportunity to check it out. read more

Good and bad. Ying and Yang. Always good food, friendly staff and a clean, fun environment. Came with the family for Father's Day. We really enjoyed ourselves. Tips and upcharge notice- When it came time to pay the bill the waiter took my CC and put it into his machine standing at our table. He had the gratuity set at 22%. Okay, a little bold I thought and I could have changed it, but I didn't. Then came the receipt with an additional 5% added. So, I paid almost 30% more for lunch. Mind you none of this is told to you. They do have a sign posted but it's hidden in the bathroom. So, if you don't use the facilities, you will never see it. It basically says it's so the back of house can be tipped and so they do not raise food prices, (which they have a bunch over the years). Just wanted my fellow Yelpers to be aware. Another fabulous dinner with Teller's. We brought the parents with us this time, on what I thought would be a quiet Thursday night. Maybe I got Tuesday and Thursday confused, lol. With lots of folks thinking the same thing, we slipped in and grabbed a buzzer to keep us company for the 15 minute wait. Just a short 10 minutes later, we sat down at a four top and soon had four massive mason jars of water sliding across the table to us. I had been eying their Cucumber and Fire cocktail while waiting and it didn't disappoint. The refreshing cucumber balanced the jalapeño really well. Yum. The parents split a fabulous looking French Dip and rated it well (4 outta 5 stars). Their massive fans and we're looking for a bit more flavor in the horseradish dip for a perfect score. Not bad. Me? I ordered the Melted Monk sandwich with tomato bisque. I nixed the kettle chips. Absolute fan of the bisque. I could have had a gallon of it - really flavorful with great mouth feel. So good. I wasn't a fan of the Melted Monk sandwich, but also wasn't sure how the green apple slices would pair with the caramelized onions and raclette cheese, on cranberry walnut bread. Sounded interesting. Not bad, but wouldn't order it again. That aside, I'm still a fan. Teller's has always been a great choice and I'll return to some of my favorites next time. Never hurts to try something new! My guy raved about his Ahi Burger, and man, it was so much food. His tots were so good! I'm likely ordering this next time. Also - I almost forgot! Tellers is a neighborhood classic! There are so many restaurants around this little strip and Tellers is for sure one of the best. The value of the peel and eat shrimp for $24 for a lb is awesome, the drink specials on Happy (ends at 6:30) and their margarita specials on Tuesdays are just fantastic. We had the Miso salmon and Shrimp Tabbouleh and both were great. I wish there was more sauce on the Tabbouleh dish, but ordered a little taziki and it was perfect. Also their wings are great size and buffalo sauce is delicious. Highly recommend!!! read more

I saw Tellers tap room listed on Apple Maps and wanted to give it a try. It looked like a popular place and when we arrived, the parking lot was packed for lunchtime during a weekday so I knew it had to be good. That initial analysis was right because it was an amazing spot. They have a ton of seating on their indoor patio, inside the restaurant itself, including at the bar. All the food looked amazing. I don't think you could go wrong with anything there, but the things that stood out for sure are the burgers. They have quite a display of burgers on their menu and everyone was eating a good looking burger. I decided to create my own burger which in reality I probably should've went with a specialty one, but that's OK because it was delicious. I got it with all the normal toppings, as well as some bacon, and I got the kettle chips on the side. Everything was as good as I expected. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of my burger! The meat is really good and it also has a really nice sauce on the burger that they include. I would definitely come back to tellers and I recommend going to tellers if you are in the golden area. read more

Parking is a bit limited, but there's convenient overflow parking right across the street. Once we got inside, we loved the cozy atmosphere, the patio was decorated with live plants and cute Halloween touches that made it feel warm and inviting. We stopped in for happy hour and were impressed with the specials. I had the pear cider and my husband ordered the Ska True Blond Ale , both were crisp, cold, and delicious. For food, we tried the Yelp recommendations: the Melted Monk and the French Dip. Both were decent, though not standout favorites. The fries were seasoned well, and the tomato soup with the little smiley face definitely added charm to the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made it an easy spot to relax with a drink and good company. We'd come back again to try more from the happy hour menu, especially the tacos or mac and cheese bites next time! read more

The food was so amazing I devoured it before taking a photo! I loved the cherry bomb burger- the best! And their fries here are really good too. Service was very prompt and friendly. $22, easily one of the worst Ruebens i've had in recent memory. Stale bread, bland meat, a couple pieces of Sauerkraut and the sandwhich itself was the size of my palm. No thousand island dressing either which is kind of important if you're buying a Rueben. Horrible in every way, overpriced, small portions, terrible quality, and it took 35min to make. Stay away. We tried this place at the recommendation of a friend and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was on point. Everything that our large party of 8 ordered was hot, delicious and smelled great. I opted for the melted monk and it was a delicious pairing of cheese, apples, and caramelized onions on bread. The tomato bisque was delicious and perfect to dip my kettle chips into. The atmosphere was very laid back and while it was a bit busy, it wasn't too loud to be able to talk and catch up with friends. Our waiter was very observant and helpful. We went on Tuesday night and kids eat free. It's not on the menu, but we were happy he offered that to us as newcomers. We will definitely come back when we are in the neighborhood. read more

After a lovely winter hike, I was craving some protein with a comfort food twist. French dip sounded perfect and a short yelp & google maps search pointed us here. We'd mentioned trying Tellers many times, so today was the day! Parking is a little tight but thankfully they share the lot across the street with the pizza place. Atmosphere is lively - 4 tvs to check on the game but that's not the reason you're here. You're here for the service (smiles and promptness), the drinks (bullets & blossoms for me this time, a brew for my husband), and the food! The French dip with Swiss is spectacular. I love that you can add horseradish to your tastebuds' content! I do wish they had provolone as a cheese option, but the Swiss hit just right. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fish & chips as well. GM (Rachel A.) took really good care of me after Door Dash delivered to the wrong address. Excellent customer service. Beware of Door Dash, twice I have had deliveries delivered to the wrong address. The drivers deliver by GPS not by the address. So if they don't match up, you're out of luck. I think some of the drivers don't know how to read or locate an address. I did contact Door Dash and they really weren't interested in the issue. Thank you. read more

We arrived on a very lively Saturday, late morning & were promptly greeted & shown to our table. We were given bingo cards & menus. It took us a minute to realize it was Free Brunch Bingo. Our server didn't explain, she was very busy...the place was packed, every table filled. It was loud, music was playing & bingo numbers were being called - difficult to have a conversation. We did enjoy playing bingo, although none of us won. Teller's also has a bar, a TV playing sports, a wall of interesting beer taps & live music on Saturdays. It took a little bit to get our food. The Melted Monk Sandwich tasted fine, however the bread wasn't grilled & it had very little cheese. I expected an ooey gooey kinda cheesy sandwich. It came with a cup of Tomato Bisque that had great flavor but was too thick for my liking. I liked the homemade chips that came with it too but they had no salt. We also had the Western Burger & that was good. However we didn't realize that the BBQ sauce was already on the burger because a side of BBQ sauce was on the plate. That side was added & made it way too saucy. This came with a side of wonderful fries, they were delicious! Our last dish was a build your own burger - Swiss Cheeseburger. This was good but unfortunately the chips had no salt. There were some hits & misses here. Next time I'll try something from the Brunch Menu. read more

Beware the blanket 5% service charge added to the already pricey but mediocre food "to help pay non-tipped employees." They have a big write-up on their website about "inequity" and why raising menu prices doesn't work as well, but I'm tired of supporting businesses that engage in this nickel-and-diming of customers. It's 5% today, but I'm sure it'll be 6-7% next year. And then of course the machine that you use to pay with a credit card has pre-set tip amounts of 20% -and higher- options (I think the highlighted option in the middle was 22% maybe?), so it's an extra couple of steps to deduct 5% and give a 15% tip. Editing to add more detail: A burger is $15 and then various toppings are an extra charge. I think the total for my burger was $18. Burger tasted okay enough. It was served with fries that are clearly frozen fries from the grocery store. I understand inflation and understand that the cost to do business has risen, but this place is just not a good value, and the 5% surcharge is ridiculous. So, take this as a "beware" if you are curious about this establishment and know what you are getting into if you decide to visit. read more

We really enjoyed our family dinner at Tellars the other night. I thought my French dip was delicious and my husband loved his meatball sandwich. Our toddler didn't like his fish and chips (I did though!) but ended up eating one of the meatballs. My biggest complaint was that our fries were all served cold, as if they were cooked first and sat on the plates while they made our sandwiches. I had the Autumn Orchard salad yesterday. Water to drink. The waiter put a 22% tip on his hand held device (I usually tip 20%) but I didn't want to say anything. Absolutely amazing little gem! My wife and I had driven by Teller's a number of times and always said we should try it and we finally did last weekend. We had gone on a hike in the morning and my sweetheart thought a French dip sounded good as a late lunch option, enter Teller's. The atmosphere is neighborhood pub but seemed extraordinarily family friendly. Just enough TV's to check out the days sports offerings but not too many to feel over the top sports bar like. Service was excellent. All wait staff were full of smiles, cheerful, and our food came out fast & hot. My wife of course had the French dip mentioned earlier and what a delight. So flavorful and satisfied the craving for her. I had the fish and chips. Served on a bed of delectable fries and a bowl of cole slaw on the side. The fish was fried just right and was very yummy. One of the better fish and chips plates I've had in the Denver metro area. Will we be back? I'm already planning on the Reuben for our next visit. read more

Love the vibes of this place!! On a Sunday afternoon we were seated quickly and serviced quickly as well! I got the Ahi Tuna Burger, wow it was incredible. The tuna steak was well seasoned and grilled and the meat was so soft and tender. Paired perfectly with the soft bread and coleslaw. I asked for lettuce on my burger though and never got it. Listen, this used to be the spot! The service, food and drinks have always been consistent and craved. Wellll, sadly, this most recent visit ONE of those things has changed. Sadly the food is not what it has been. In fact, the best salad in the entire world, has been taken off the menu for some reason. According to our server, we are not the only one disappointed in this change. We were pretty close to leaving because of this change - but gave it a shot and unfortunately it fell really flat. The Cobb salad was overloaded with toppings with very little lettuce and the wings were dry and not so meaty. I think the days of a pilgrimage to tellers has ended. Yummy brunch. Heard this place was good and stopped by before we headed to the airport on our last day. We got there a little before 10am which is when it opened. We got a table immediately. They have coloring books and crayons for kids and the girls enjoyed that (6&8yo). They wanted to keep the pages that they colored and take them home with them. I got the smoked salmon bagel, the waffle of the week for the kids (it was banana and caramel) and the hashbrowns for my husband. The bagel was build your own so you can put how much you want in it. The girls loved their waffle as well. All of the food was delicious and came quickly so we were able to go to the airport with time to spare. read more

Feels like a perfect neighborhood jaunt. We love coming here for a quick bite or a cocktail and is always a crowd pleaser when people visit

First, this is as much a family restaurant as a taphouse. So once you realize there is a good chance you'll be sitting and trying to enjoy a beverage and food with someone screaming spoiled kid hollering right in your ear.... You'll be okay. The beer selection is pretty decent and mostly local- LOVE THAT. Bloody Mary bar???? Made me want to order one even though I don't drink them, wow!! The food was good. Hubby got buffalo wings, the wings were good sized. He liked the sauce a lot. I got the French dip with cheese and grilled onions and mushrooms. Really tasty! The bread was perfectly crusted on the outside and soft on the inside. The fries are REALLY GOOD!
