I had the country fried steak with 2 scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. Everything was divine. Perfect portions. The hashbrowns were like fried potatoes...super yummy. The steak was covered with a delicious white gravy (not smothered). The eggs were cooked flat like a crepe, so they could be cooked through while maintaining their moisture. I've been making pancakes for decades; how do they do what they do? My wife had the French toast with bacon. She was also a member of the clean plate club. No apology no offer to remove it from the bill, nothing just kind of an I told you so. That was frustrating. All in all dinner was average but it was pretty cool watching the rain from our seat next to the window and we weren't rushed to leave when we were finished while we waited for the rain to lighten up so we could walk back. The restaurant and bar have a nice bar feel, lots of booths and tables for the size of the dining room, and there's mother bar area I didn't see until we were leaving.
