I wanted a 2nd opinion and after he already changed one side advises me that he thought there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. I paid $500 to replace wheel hubs and bearings that he thought nothing was wrong. I provided the parts they were Lexus genuine parts but someone they failed with in 4 mths. I took to another shop which specializes in Japanese and foreign vehicles and they advised me they were badly installed and one bearing looked as is it was never changed. I brought my concerns to the shop and of course he wasn't happy with someone question is integrity and work but when it comes to safety of my family and integrity that's what is as consumers trust in the mechanic for. I'm out of $650 for parts and labor at Ables and then paid $812 at another place but at least I'm warrantied for a year on parts and labor. I wasn't offered anything. I'm just glad I was able to get it fixed correctly before something really bad happen to me or my family.

Daughter took in her car for a "evaporation leak" after getting an estimate from another shop.... and to my great relief the estimate was again lower, the shop stuck to the estimate and (even better) the mechanic told her what to expect in the coming months for maintenance and repair issues so she can plan ahead. At the time, Jason assured me this vehicle had a brand new engine, and that a considerable amount of other parts and components where recently replaced, as Jason had owned this vehicle prior. At the time, this truck had just over 240000 miles and Jason assured me that if I brought the truck to him he would honor a "warranty" that would cover parts... No labor. At the time, i was being pressured from my organization to purchase a vehicle, so I had little choice but to agree. Furthermore, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the quality of tire and what kind of rims/tires the truck needed... 22s as it were are difficult because no one has them on hand... The truck ran fine for a couple of months until those tires had to be replaced... Only 3000 miles after I bought the truck. Increasingly, more and more, issues began to arise with this vehicle... Coolant lines needing to be replaced, oil pressure senders and sensors going bad... My dashboard backlight going out (they are not individual lamps, but a whole piece that needs to be replaced) and to top it off- the knock sensor in the "brand new" engine Jason claimed all began showing signs of wear and needed changing... Fast forward to today- 255,000 miles on the frame - I've sunk close to $2500 already, owing $2800 still and still needing close to 1k work... Igo to ask Jason to to honor his promise for a warranty on the knock sensor and the dash light as I feel they pertain to the year warranty... What do I get as a response? Defensive rhetoric and accusations of not taking care of the vehicle... This guy will go back on his word and professional promises to his customers. I wish I could continue but at this point I will not be doing any further business with this establishment.

Would like to have for proof of maintenance when necessary. But also, he put 3000 miles on the windshield sticker. So, I verified that he did put full synthetic and he said yes and that he always puts a 3000 mile sticker on the windshield. That is deceptive right there. I had bought two Groupons for this place and just hoping I'm being too negative, I went ahead and brought 2nd vehicle in today. The owner said that the Groupon is for semi m-synthetic oil. I explained that it states synthetic. He said yes, semi-synthetic. That's not ok. Even on the Groupon page under highlights it says they offer conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic. My Groupon is for synthetic. Now I am pretty sure he didn't put full synthetic in the 1st car. I just left and got my money back from Groupon.

I remember one case in particular where a traveling family from out of state pulled into their shops driveway in a car that was running extremely rough. I watched Mr Ogden raise the car hood look around a bit and them proceeded to make a repair. He removed the distributor cap applied so grease in a strategic location, reassembled everything and had the man start the car. It smoothed out and ran like a top.
