However, we then didn't hear from him for 4 months despite multiple calls. The story was always "we are waiting on parts". Today he finally showed up and tells me he didn't order the glass top replacement because "I didn't mention it was broken". Number one - it is clearly visible and was broken 4 months ago. Number two - I did very specifically mention it and asked that it be fixed in addition to the burners. He then proceeded to say he could fix the burners but the glass would continue to break because of the heat and a new request for repair would need to be made. I understandably got quite upset and called him out on the lie and the halfway repar he was offering. He then refused to fix anything and left. This company was sent out by my home warranty people. We will be switching home warranty companies as well as finding a new repair man!

Sounds too good to be true. It probably is!…read more Car needed an alternator put in. Chloe gave me a verbal quote cheaper than the chain repair shop and said she could get it done today. Just bring it over this morning and we will have it done by 5:00. Sounds like a small locally owned shop that you want to support and do business with right? Quick service and good price! Well, when I dropped the car off at 10:30 she confirmed 5:00 today. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done and she said it's going to take a little longer than I thought but it will be done today. At 5:30 I stopped by and they still hadn't gotten the old one out yet. She said its more complex than I thought but we will get it done before we go home. The car was finally ready at 9:30 pm so I guess give them credit for staying late (ie 2 stars and not 1). On the way home I stopped to get the alternator checked at autozone and they pointed out that the wire to the alternator wasn't even hooked up so it wasn't working properly. So I came home and had to finish the job myself. If it sounds too good to be true. It probably is. So do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!! PS. It really runs good now!! But the issue that stands in the forefront is their tenacity on an issue that most shops would have probably just thrown their arms in the air and gave up. The clock spring for my vehicle went bad, this controls all the electrics on your steering wheel from the horn, cruise, airbag, etc. This should have been a straight forward repair but the part was not available anywhere!!! They searched and searched and the part was not available they even tried the junk yards as well. We finally changed out the steering wheel and got everything I wanted working!! Thanks for not giving up as that would have been the easy thing to do. This small shop will have my business in the future. They were very transparent about pricing and labor, which I really appreciated. What impressed me most was how quick they were. At the dealership, I usually expect to be without my car for a week, but here it was literally from one day to the next. That alone is a huge plus. At 104,000 miles…read morethe engine on my RX8 had to be replaced (it was always a question of when not if it would need to be replace). I initially took it to another shop and they swore to me up and down that they could handle the RX8. After a few weeks, I gave up on them and had it towed to Rotary Performance. They knew exactly what to do to confirm the motor had to be replaced, and we worked out a plan to replace other key parts in the car since the motor was going to be out anyways. Car runs great, and they provide a lot of insight as to how to keep this motor going even longer than the original.
