I wanted a 2nd opinion and after he already changed one side advises me that he thought there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. I paid $500 to replace wheel hubs and bearings that he thought nothing was wrong. I provided the parts they were Lexus genuine parts but someone they failed with in 4 mths. I took to another shop which specializes in Japanese and foreign vehicles and they advised me they were badly installed and one bearing looked as is it was never changed. I brought my concerns to the shop and of course he wasn't happy with someone question is integrity and work but when it comes to safety of my family and integrity that's what is as consumers trust in the mechanic for. I'm out of $650 for parts and labor at Ables and then paid $812 at another place but at least I'm warrantied for a year on parts and labor. I wasn't offered anything. I'm just glad I was able to get it fixed correctly before something really bad happen to me or my family.

Just bring it over this morning and we will have it done by 5:00. Sounds like a small locally owned shop that you want to support and do business with right? Quick service and good price! Well, when I dropped the car off at 10:30 she confirmed 5:00 today. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done and she said it's going to take a little longer than I thought but it will be done today. At 5:30 I stopped by and they still hadn't gotten the old one out yet. She said its more complex than I thought but we will get it done before we go home. The car was finally ready at 9:30 pm so I guess give them credit for staying late (ie 2 stars and not 1). On the way home I stopped to get the alternator checked at autozone and they pointed out that the wire to the alternator wasn't even hooked up so it wasn't working properly. So I came home and had to finish the job myself. If it sounds too good to be true. It probably is. So do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!! PS. Most mechanics will not help after you have started work or will charge you the same amount as if you had not. Chase stepped right in and helped me out tremendously. He even allowed me to sit at his shop and complete the job in case I was stuck again. Mechanics are not hard to find. Good mechanics are hard to find. The waiting area is the nicest I have ever seen and has some soft drinks, a Keurig, and lollipops for the kids. It smells amazing, is nicely decorated, and has comfortable seating. The staff is very friendly. From my chat with them, they don't do body work or transmission rebuilds (but will do replacement). I am not speaking to the quality of their work since I'm not familiar with anything beyond the inspection, but would absolutely get a quote from them if it means I can sit here and get some work done!
