While the price of the tires here seem like a good deal, They didn't recalibrate the TPS properly on the right rear tire. When I stopped in to tell them their response was "I'll set you up with another appointment". I don't want to have to make an appointment to fix something that should have been done the first time. I like using their Pickup Service and it generally is very fast... like it was today. Don't overlook their rotisserie chickens. The gas station has great prices, only go if the line isn't bad... it often is. To start, the parking lot was great and the gas line was short on a Friday mid morning. Upon entering this huge warehouse store, ai noticed that the aisles were very big and the layout was very easy to navigate. I like that they have Deitz and Watson meats in their deli and some of it is already pre sliced for quicker shopping. Navigating the store was pretty easy. I could see the aisles signage from pretty much everywhere my cart could go inside. Check out was pretty good too. only one person in front of me in line. I think BJ's is an underrated store! Yes Costco has more bells and whistles but if you are looking for the basics like a clean, and well organized store with friendly staff... this is the spot! The one thing I like about this place is that it is not as crowded as Costco. You can come here during the weekend and not be elbow to elbow with many shoppers. The store is well organized and clean. They have all the basics that you would expect from a wholesale club! I do wish that they did serve food and have a robust food court like Costco but I won't hold that against them! read more

Beware of deceptive sales tax practices. There are certain types of discounts that you still have to pay sales tax on the full amount for: manufacturer's coupons/discounts. That's just the way it goes - nothing you can really do about it. But what BJ's does is hide this information so you can never really tell whether you are on the hook for sales tax on the full price or the discounted price. Everything on the website just says "instant savings" and even your online receipt just says "clipless coupon" with no indication of whether it's a BJ's discount or a manufacturer's discount. I have never seen any other company do this and when you do a google search on the subject BJ's is the only one that shows up. Then to make your life even better they take 4-5 days to respond to email inquiries. Clicking on livechat just sends you to their FAQ and doesn't connect you to anyone. It was also fun waiting in line for 30+ mins to sign up for my membership because they only had a single person working the entire customer service/membership desk during a busy time. Glad they had the manpower to have that guy trying to convince me to sign up for a credit card at checkout though. I would not be surprised if they are just charging full sales tax on everything and pocketing the money they 'accidentally' overcharge. You'd figure they'd be able to hire more help with how they are swindling their customers. I have decided to let my membership expire. read more

I love BJs! I shop at BJs weekly and get gas weekly from them as well. Their gas is always cheaper when compared to other local stations nearby. I suggest going early morning or before they close because the gas line is very long. Sunday mornings BJs has samples out now and I love stopping by each one! The store is clean and they have great products to choose from. Same vibe as Costco just no food court and not as large. If you're local, I recommend getting a membership to take advantage of whole sale prices and items. read more

I have been a member of BJ's for a few years. I usually get paper products, some frozen food products, and some snack items. Today, I went in search of some frozen fish that is not processed, meaning: frozen fresh fish. They used to have a selection of fresh frozen fish to choose from. Not anymore. Only shrimp and the Captain fish stick guy are available. Disappointed in their selection. I will continue to use my membership but will open a Costco one since they have the kind of product I want. I ordered car tires at the store on Dec 18, 2024. I was told I would be called when the tires came in. I checked back on the status and was told they were in transit and would be here on Jn 6th. I checked back again and they said they could get them from a local BJs Store in the area and they would be here on Jan 2nd. I checked back on Jan 8th and no tires had been delivered to the store. Nothing that was supposed to be delivered on Jan 2nd and nothing that was supposed to be delivered on Jan 6thNot knowing if the tires would ever be deliver to the store, I cancelled the order and went downtown to buy my tires. I am a member of BJs to save money. This latest fiasco caused me an additional $300.00 plus. I'm still very frustrated by BJs ridiculous coupon process. I dutifully "clipped" the coupons online and added them to our account. When we checked out at the warehouse, one of the coupons didn't register. We had to seek assistance from an employee. She asked if I had the BJs app on my phone & I replied that I didn't. I don't need yet another app cluttering my phone, especially for an inefficient and wholly unneeded process (Hello BJs - just give me the advertised discount without making me go through the tedious effort of "clipping" coupons!) The employee confirmed that my item qualified for the discount and she processed it on the register. This nonsense wasted both our time and her time, and caused a delay for the people in line behind us. Get your act together BJs! Also, BJs COVID-19 safety practices need to be revamped. Rather than providing each customer with a sanitized cart, customers must retrieve a previously used - and potentially contaminated - cart and then sanitize it themselves upon entering the warehouse with the wipe provided by an employee at the entrance. I've been a member for 10years or so. This store was better then than now. They are understaffed. I went to get my propane tank filled and was told there is no propane, even though the area to get tanks filled did not indicate that. It appears that the propane facility has been updated but not functional? I called customer service to inquire when it will be functioning as in the past. A human being never answered the phone. We have membership with another wholesale store as well but wanted to add a membership here as well since it's closer to our home. Also they mailed us a promotional price for the year to try it out. The good: * Gasoline prices were good plus not long lines. * The location as a whole is not busy and parking is easy to find. *bulk items have different sizes if your family is not big. *Variety in household products. The bad: * Produce in different parts of the store and not very good in freshness and choices. * Hardly any employees, even the membership section did not have anyone there, we waited a few minutes until the cashier found someone to come get us the membership card. * The coupons are overwhelming with the BJ's booklet being so big and instead of it just taking off the coupon automatically, you need to provide them with the coupons. Everything in this store can improve! Customer service in the store as well as corporate are terrible. I just joined in September, and have had nothing but aggravation. I earned $50 reward by joining, eight dollar reward from a purchase, and have never been able to use it. The story has been going on for seven months, but basically the minute the rewards were put on my account. Someone either in the store or incorporate use them fraudulently. Every time I reported it, they would reinstate it in the same thing would happen. This was finally resolved today ((seven months later) but I am very angry. Months ago I was given $30 additional to what I earned to compensate for all of the time I spent on the phone with them, emailing them, and going to the store and waiting in line and explaining. I felt it should've been more, but excepted it. More fraud happened on my account, and the $88 was stolen again. they called me yesterday and I told them I would come in for the gift card today. (told them I don't want anything else going on my account) but I was gonna close my account. He asked me what he could do to keep me from closing it, and I said you can compensate me. He said he would talk to his boss and let me know today when I come to get the credit. Well, he offered me a big $12! I told him I would rather close my account! I hope someone important at BJ's is reading this and wanting to make this right. If they do, I will tell the world. If they don't, this review speaks volumes. read more

I visited this Bj's three weeks ago. I was on the hunt for an item that seemed to have almost completely disappeared from stores and online! In my desperation, I looked on Bj's website for this item in other stores since I know that BJ's stock this item. The website stated said item was in stock yay but at Bj's Boynton Beach. Oh wow!!! Living in Fort Lauderdale, I was not sure that I would be able to attain item, but I was determined!!! I had to have it! I made a phone call and spoke to Jenna. Extremely helpful and courteous!!! She honestly is the reason that I decided to take the long drive up here! Seriously, she is awesome times 1,000!!! :D Once there I found the items! I then shopped around and found other cool items not stocked in stores nearer to my home. After going to the register, I spoke with Melody (I hope that's her name) and had a pleasant conversation with her. I loved that I had such a positive experience here! According to my GPS, it would be 59 minutes for me to get here from my Fort Lauderdale home. Yes, it was a long ride, but I got exactly what I wanted, and as many as I needed and wanted. I go to BJ's once a week and usually everyone is kind and willing to help. This day I went, I just seemed to noticed pricing didn't match up when scanning items. The man that was working the front seemed to be rude and short. Trying to explain the pricing was not what was stated in the isles, he continued to talk over me and tell me the manager changed the price. How can you not price match when that isn't the customers fault. I get it, but there could have been a kinder approach especially when working in customer service. I purchased my tires 6/7/23 five days ago. I still have not received a call for the tire installation. I've been calling every day to see if my tires are there and every day the phone call drops getting in touch with them is horrible. You cannot just walk in there purchase a tire and have them put on. It's impossible unless you're buying a cheap tire that's been sitting on the rack for months. Derrick the supervisor for the tire center is not very friendly or informative. When I finally got someone on the phone, he told me I needed my receipts in order for him to look up my purchase. When I called the second and third time, I got a different gentleman on the phone and he was able to pull up my information with my phone number so, the gentleman that answered the phone the first two times either didn't know what to do maybe he was in trained properly or maybe he was too lazy to look up the information I don't know. Communication is zero I'm frustrated it's been five days and still no tires but yet they took my money with no issues. These guys need to be trained on their computer system better the supervisor needs help because it seems like he's the only one that knows how to work the computer system everyone else there is super lazy. read more

This review is solely for the Tire Center at the Boynton Beach location. I am a member and will continue to shop at BJ's however I will NEVER use their Tire Center again. The online ordering and appointment scheduling was easy and straightforward. The staff that install the tires are nice and professional but limited in their ability to make decisions that help customers. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end for this tire center. I purchased 4 tires online (over $500) and had them installed at this tire center. The delivery took 10 days and the install took almost 4 hours! Almost immediately after install there was an issue with one tire losing air, about 10-12 psi overnight (luckily I have access to an air pump so I topped off the tire until I could get into the store). My first attempt to have BJ's tire fix the issue failed with the employee telling me I should go to another shop that can submerse my tire and find a leak. I needed to get to work so I left and that night I put some water and Dawn dish liquid on the tire and found the leak myself. It was on the edge of the tire wall so I knew the tire would need to be replaced and not just plugged. My second attempt to have BJ's fix the issue also failed when the employee could not find the leak. He said they would have to order a new tire for which I may be charged depending on management's decision. He changed my tire to the spare I have, kept the bad tire, ordered the new tire and said I would be contacted when the tire was in store. Two weeks later and after several phone calls to the tire center went unanswered, I went in person to find out the status of the tire. I could have been driving around on a spare for two weeks which is not safe (although it was an inconvenience for my family, I did have access to a second vehicle but the store did not know that). When I arrived, the employee said they had the new tire but no way to contact me. This was absurd because I am a member, I filled out a form with my name, address and phone number to order the tire. Finally, I was able to schedule a time for them to install the new tire and put the spare back in my trunk. The install for the new tire took another 4 hours, that is one tire! I will still remain a member because I enjoy the club however, I will NEVER return to BJ's tire center again. read more

With the Costco locations a bit further away from our location we turned to BJs on Boynton Beach Blvd as our go to box store. Now compared to Costco BJs is a bit smaller and mostly carries the same or similar items with few differences. But as you walk the aisles you do realize that pricing is slightly cheaper for most items. The store is not as well lit as it should be and the aisles feel very small. The coupon book needs to be replaced with automatic coupons like Costco does so you don't need to be clipping coupons like in the 90s. This BJs location has a Dunkin Donuts inside for people to enjoy donuts and coffee. On the left side of the store is the auto center and gas station which specially requires a redo as the gas station is very run down and the tire pressure pump barely works. But it is still worth using as the prices are around 25-50 cents per gallon cheaper compared to most gas stations on Boynton Beach Blvd. read more

I've been a Bjs member for over 3 years and honestly I took them for granted! Last wk after my delivery for hurricane supplies didn't come in, my husband and I were able to find everything we needed and then some! Last wk we visited at least 6 times and they never failed us. We were able to stock up on water, gas, food etc. And when items were sold out, they had a shipment coming in the following day. They honestly saved us! Theres not too many wholesale places nearby..and the BJs out west doesnt carry many of the products my family needs. So this is my go to. Groupon always has membership deals for new members that are pretty good too. I stock up on snacks for the family at great prices and most of the time theres even a coupon available. Of the 15-20 times Ive been here they've only not had the coupon books once! But theres usually 2 different coupon books circulating at a time the other only being maybe 6 pages compared to the 20+ regular book. I like buying my frozen shrimp and salmon here. If I have an issue with scanning a coupon the reps will come and assist over course there'll be a little wait because its always packed on the weekends.
