Tried opening my garage door with no success and noticed that the spring at the top of the door was broken. I prefer using local contractors. There are a number of companies from Phoenix and Prescott who include Flagstaff in their service area but they only come up here a few days a week and what do you do if you have to call them back? I called BK before they opened and left a message and George called back. He told me they were completely booked but he'd swing by and get the door open so I could move my cars out and then come back over the weekend to fix the door. That worked for me. When he showed up he said he had a cancellation so he'd be able to fix the door after all. And that he did. About 45 minutes later the new spring was installed, the door and the opener were inspected, serviced, and adjusted. Very good experience. read more

So quick and efficient! One of the tension springs for our garage door broke on a Friday holding our car hostage! A company we had used previously said they could not come out until Tuesday and then I saw the reviews for BK Garage Doors and George answered the phone. He quoted us a reasonable price and said he could be there later in the afternoon which was about three hours. George and his associate arrived with masks on which is really important under the current circumstances. They had to enter our house to get to the garage and they put shoe covers on that I provided but also offered to take their shoes off. We had a top panel of a Wayne Dalton garage door become damaged, when the original panel did not have the metal bar installed. We called around looking for quote to replace. WOW, these guys are really, really good. We built our new home in 2004 so the garage doors are 16 years old. One of the brackets broke on one garage door that is used the most. They came out and replaced the bracket with a heavy duty bracket, oiled the runners and checked out the garage door motor. They pointed out that the spring on the door used the most was showing wear and should replace it before it breaks down later and a call later. The next time out they replaced the spring and I suggested replacing the bracket on the 2nd most used door with a heavy duty bracket. The spring and bracket were replaced on the 2nd visit and they went about again checking the 3 motors and runners. This was the first time I have used BK Garage Doors, they were outstanding and if we have issues in the future will use them again. read more
