I ate breakfast at Black Anchor Coffee House with my family as we were visiting Point Pleasant for the day. The menu offers anything from smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, and crepes. For beverages you can get anything from coffee to cappuccinos to frozen hot chocolate. Black Anchor also offers sugar free flavors for your coffee, which is typically hard to find. I chose an egg and cheese sandwich and a hot coffee with caramel flavor & almond milk. The roll for the egg sandwich was light and airy and was the perfect choice to eat before going to the beach. Their coffee was not bitter and was smooth. I cannot wait to try their iced coffee next time I am down the shore. We ate on the deck behind the shop as we did not want to eat on the beach. The staff and service was great & I highly suggest getting breakfast here before heading to the beach or getting a pick-me-up coffee midday.

Tired of funnel cake and need to satisfy your sweet tooth with something different? This adorable "cash only" Jersey Shore gem is a must taste! Conveniently located on Jenkinson's Board Walk with over 27 different crepe choices, if the pictures don't make you want to go in the smell will! I had the "Sugar Mamma" crepe. The texture of the crepes were perfect, not too thin not too thick, sweet and buttery topped with whipped cream, butterscotch drizzle, and butterscotch ice cream. It was the best thing I bought all day, it's definitely worth the $12.50! The prices start at $9.75 and go up depending on what you want on your crepe. Beverage choices are coffee, lattes, fraps, chai tea, sprite, coke, water or orange juice. For seating there is a small bar with about four seats in the front, and additional seating and tables in the back. There is a parking lot located right behind the building, with a low fee of $10 (Awesome for a Friday night) I received friendly service and will definitely visit again!

Right next to Kohr's, just S of Frank's Fun Center.

Prices a bit higher (~15-20% higher) but to be expected for the convenience. Lots of specialty coffee drinks including frozen hot chocolate. Muffins, yogurt...breakfast menu, too. I wasn't expecting a top-notch cup of joe at the boardwalk, and I didn't get one. That said, it was better than most. Nice, friendly staff.

Delicious crepes and really good iced coffee. I highly recommend the sweet & sour, apple and the smores' crepes! They are a bit pricey, but the crepes are big, so you can share!

Went to pt pleasant for a beach day and got coffee here. Iced vanilla latte is very good and so is the iced salted caramel latte. egg and cheese on bagel was great also. I was a little skeptical about ordering a crepe.

The worst coffee and service ever. The staff are so rude and miserable. I would never go here again. Overpriced and awful staff.

It would not have been such an inconvenience if it wasn't raining and there was no place to stand for 2 hours. I hopped back on the subway as my only option as I was hungry, cold and wet. After taking the wrong direction to Marcy Ave and getting back on track decided to come back. Got here and asked for the NY Cheesecake crepe with Carmel instead of chocolate and he said he has to CHARGE me for Carmel instead of chocolate. Huh! I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! I left Times Square to visit this small business in the rain. The $19 crepe was decent.

Being only a few blocks away and rated fairly high, Creperie popped up on my search so I knew I had to stop by on one of my evening walks back from the office. Although a rather tiny little shop, Creperies manages to still have some very limited seating right outside. As well as counter space inside the shop if you don't mind standing and crowding with other people waiting for their orders. I ordered the Strawberry and Banana crepe as it seemed to be a popular option. Size-wise, this crepe is pretty hefty and filling. Comes in an aluminum container so it's much less messy to grab and go. Although sweet, I felt the crepe itself was just ok. Nothing about it really stood out nor made it particularly memorable. They offer both sweet and savory crepes here if you want to make a meal out of it.
