We actually tried both the savory and sweet crepes, and I can't say one is better than the other. It really depends on what you're craving in the moment. They were ALL very tasty! The crepes are made fresh to order and there are a large variety of both dessert and savory selections. The side salad that's standard with your meal is tasty and pretty large. Food was really good. My only negative was that there was only one waiter for the whole place. He was doing his best seating tables, dropping menus, taking orders, delivering food, checking tables, and taking payment...but the wait was a bit long...completely not his fault...so don't go if you're in a hurry. My wife I wanted to try Fresco Creperie & Cafe, so we went on a Saturday morning just as they opened. We walked in and were greeted and told us we can sit anywhere we liked. The Cafe had a beautiful inviting somewhat modern decor, very neat and clean. Our waiter William came over and gave us menus. We sat and looked the extensive menu, much to choose from. We choose the Ham and Gruyere Cheese Crepe with salad and the Hedgehog Style Crepe (Coconut, almonds, Belgian dark chocolate). We told our waiter were going to share the dishes, so we can try them both. When our food was brought out our Ham & Egg Crepe was cut in half with salad so we each had half. After we finished, he brought out the Hedgehog again cut in half on 2 plates. An excellent idea so we both can enjoy the items we ordered. The Ham and Gruyere Cheese Crepe was very good, came out hot with melted cheese and the Hedgehog was totally awesome. It was great a dining experience, great food, great polite service in a beautiful atmosphere. Hope to return soon. read more

My gf and I came here 2 days in a row after our friend recommended it. I have always loved crepes, and these ones are out of the world! They have SO many different options. The staff are super sweet and personable. This will definitely be one of our go tos from now on. Very good crepes, but just an OK place overall. The crepes both looked and tasted very good. The kids had an Oreo Explosion crepe and Dulce de Leche with Strawberries crepe. As I noted, the presentation was excellent, though I don't think you can really go wrong with sweet crepes. Ice cream is another $4 if not already included. If it is already included, you'll notice the price differential. I had a brunch crepe which was smoked salmon- it wasn't bad and it comes with breakfast potatoes or fruit, but it was not a lot of food. This is probably a good place if you just want a light meal or big snack. For what you get, I feel it's pricey. 4 crepes and a couple of beverages later, it's a $100 meal pre-gratuity. For the sweet crepes, I don't feel like I would want to pay the premium over what you can get at a good food truck or cart, if I were not going to sit down. The establishment is small and not well appointed. It felt a little cramped, a bit like a nicer take out restaurant. The service was good though, but there weren't a lot of folks there when we went. Also note it is CASH ONLY, which I will always ding for the inconvenience. It's good to have a unique place like this in the neighborhood for the occasional sweet craving, especially since nearby Costa Nova Waffle in Mineola closed earlier this year. read more

The place is cozy with a great ambiance, comfortable seating, and a very welcoming and friendly staff including Gary who provided an amazing service. The sweet crepes were delicious. The menu has a great assortment of sweet and savory crepe's and various beverages. We tried the hedgehog, the dulce de leche, and honey crepés which were all excellently prepared by Jose. And no gloves. Overall gross and humorously expensive for what should be a street food pastry you can hold in your hand. This was dinner for my chum and I a couple weeks ago and it was a light-ish way to finish off meals for the day...well, maybe my choice wasn't too light. For starters, Fresco is long rather than wide in interior shape and sets a calm and almost simple European feel to its ambiance. A cafe that truly embraces the word "cafe." We strolled in and a friendly fella behind a high counter told us to grab a seat anywhere. The soft spoken server came over and took our order. Now it's not like you're eating a crepe by itself. These little delicacies come in both sweet and savory options stuffed full of....stuff. I wanted sustenance so I chose a savory option in the country style crepe. Stuffed (again!) full of sausage, potato, caramelized onion, and cheddar cheese, this crepe was a heftier selection than some others. Maybe so, but it had a great compliment of flavors. The only thing missing was some eggs. My buddy rocked savory as well and got the chicken crepe which he pleasantly scarfed down. On the side, you'll get a little mesclun salad with house vinaigrette, a light and flavorful balance of...flavors. Anyway, the meal rounded out nicely, and yet there were these lovely looking dessert-esque drinks that had me curious. So once paid for the meal, I decided to get one to go. A mocha fresco was its name and sweet, creaminess was its game. That was the true ending to a uniquely different dinner. Overall, Fresco Creperie and Cafe does the job in giving those unfamiliar with crepes a tasty entrance into "crepe land." I suppose I missed out on the sweet selection so that might constitute a return trip sometime soon. Either way, I would come back for another (semi) light meal. read more

I'm on the fence about this place, I didn't even know it existed until I saw a Groupon voucher for it. I've been there on 2 occasions so far for takeout, we had ordered the hedgehog sweet crepe, the lemon and also the strawberry dulce de leche. I loved that the crepes didn't leave you feeling heavy and ready for a food coma but there was just something missing, maybe adding some texture in the crepe batter or as a topping...... The lemon was nice and basic but the citrus needs to be mellowed out a bit. The hedgehog crepe was good, but needed a bit more flare. My favourite by far was the strawberry dulce de leche which I will happily return for, if they reduced the amount of caramel by 25%, it would be pure gold. I would also love to return to eat in, as I feel like the crepe texture would be best consumed immediately. Also their iced drinks look amazing. This place would really stand out if the exterior signs were more colourful and attractive, also the interior would do well with better lighting for a better ambiance.
