Best crepe I've had. Got the peanut butter/Reeses explosion & usually with peanut butter desserts my main complaint that they are not peanut buttery enough but that was NOT the case for this one!!! This place is already a staple in NYC but I just had to give them a review cause of the VIBES. This business is super tiny but the amount of people who eat here speaks volumes of the service and the quality of the food. They have everything you can think of and your food will always be given to you at a good time. You never have to wait too long and everything is always fresh. The workers are nice, friendly and quick! They're used to dealing with high volumes of people so no matter what the wait is, it's worth it!! read more

Was really looking forward to this place, but honestly left disappointed. I got a sweet crepe that sounded great on the menu, but when it came out, it was cold--and not in a "cool dessert" kind of way, more like it had been sitting for a while. For $16, I expected something fresh and at least warm. The flavor was okay, but nothing special. Didn't feel like it was worth the price, especially considering how many great spots there are in the city. Service was fine, not rude or anything, but nothing stood out. Long overdue review. I've been to both locations but this is the one I've visited more recently back in the winter. Their other spot is on the Lower East side. They don't just make sweet crepes, they also make savory and they aren't to sleep on. Prosciutto, Mozz, and spinach is chef's kiss. I've also tried the sauteed chicken with swiss mushrooms and pesto sauce which was delicious. During the winter of course I had to try the dubai chocolate crepe. It was amazing. Also way more reasonably priced than the stuff going on at other places. Strawberries were super fresh. The pistachio cream inside was plentiful and the crunch of the kadayif was life changing. The spot is really small but there are tons of bars in the area that let you bring in your own food. It reminds me of crepe places in Europe. Definitely a must. read more

I've been to this place many times . It always slaps !!! Tonight we had the pleasure of meeting the owner while placing and waiting for our orders . She was very humble and repeatedly thanked us coming and for coming back . This place doesn't miss . I had their Dubai style crêpe with the ice cream . It was incredible. Had a great experience here. For $17 I ate a whole #9 Turkey with bacon and Swiss cheese savory crepe and then I split a Nutella crepe with a friend. I recommend this. I was full afterwards and allowing to taste both savory and sweet was a nice mix. The #9 was really delicious. I loved the crunch of the bacon. Kind of felt like a breakfast crepe for dinner. I'm not sure what the typical crepe price is in NYC, but this one was around $16. I'm used to prices in VA being closer to $9, so I was definitely shocked when I saw the menu. We ordered the red velvet crepe, and it was DELICIOUS and sweet. The crepe was warm and had a slice of red velvet cake underneath, topped with ice cream and whipped cream. I come all the way from Staten Island to Manhattan to get these crepes. They are made fresh right in front of you. They offer tons of flavors from sweet to savory. My go to is the Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas. I sometimes add peanut butter which is delicious as well. I've also had a BEC crepe that was delicious as well. The owner is so sweet she is sometimes at the crepe shop helping out or meeting customers. There is great customer service here the staff is very friendly and works very efficiently to serve their customers. MUST TRY! read more

SO delicious! I had the famous and the tiramisu crepes. Both were large portions, delicious and decadent. The employees were very sweet and quick. They also are now selling strawberries with chocolate! The restaurant has very limited seating and is a small store front, so you will likely not be able to find seating. read more

I'm not a fan of crepes nor do I particularly crave them but walking past here a few times had me wanting to try something new. I tried the "New Yorker" with strawberries, chocolate, whipped cream and cheesecake and it was very satisfying. Very sweet, which is to be expected, but the strawberries balanced it out nicely. Tourist trap. This is NOT a place locals go. It's just high NYU kids. If you're sober though, definitely do not go here. No smile with your service. And the service is not worse than the crepe - it's like they hate their jobs so much they try to make their owner bankrupt lol--SO much chocolate inside and on top (it's like diabetes in one bite and a major glycemic spike). I was hoping for like a drizzle of chocolate or at most a tablespoon, but there was about 8oz on top and 10oz poured inside (as well as a disgusting amount of other different sauces that weren't even on the menu description.) They also put a ton of powdered sugar on top and that's not on the menu either. Don't go here, it's really gross and I'm being nice about it....but you will melt from disgust watching the way it's made and the unreasonable amount of toppings...then at the end you get the tiniest amount of whipped cream, funny. Don't go here, go across the street - they have seating, look cleaner, and make a decent crepe. I threw out the one from Creperie NYC immediately after. The lady who works the register is also not friendly, doesn't like her job, and doesn't like packaging the crepes - I had to put the lid on mine myself and it was upsetting because you have to be extra careful not to spill or get dirty. One more thing - I am especially salty about not being allowed to modify the crepe to have less chocolate and the other unlisted sauces or powdered sugar. I'm still shocked about the rudeness when I paid $24 and couldn't even eat it because it wasn't what I wanted. This is a memory that will stick with me every time I am on MacDougal bc it was so RUDE :( read more

This place is pretty cool! It's a very small storefront right near Washington Square Park. You order at the counter and they'll call your name when your food is ready. It was extremely crowded but the food still came quick. The prices of this place are pretty steep. $13 for a crepe is a bit much in my opinion, however, the portions are good. The White Chocolate with Bananas and Raspberry Puree Crepe was very good but VERY sweet. I couldn't finish it so my friends ended up eating it. If you like sweet desserts, definitely try this. I will be coming back here because i want to try the other dishes. This was the first time in my life I didn't get a Nutella, strawberry, and banana crepe. Yet another stop on our 'Late night drunk in NYC and craving comfort food' train during our visits to NYC. The place is tiny, always has their "moment of fame" from Bobby Flay playing on tv and is always ridiculously crowded. Given how tiny the kitchen is, it never fails to amaze me how 4 people fit in there and crank out orders like crazy! Never a missed order and never a wrong order - at least while I've been there. I am a sucker for their nutella-strawberry-banana crepe. There is a reason it's called their "Famous" crepe - it is amazing. The crepe itself is perfect - not too sweet, light and airy and crsipy on the edges. They are not stingy with their nutella and it's bursting with bananas and sweet, ripe strawberries. In fact, I want one right now! Overall, love this place for this one crepe and i'd happily keep coming to them with every trip I make to NYC read more

A solid crepe shop with a ton of options. In the center of McDougal so it's packed! It's also a small shop so there are limited seating options-- basically standing room only. That being said, the crepes are still tasty and crammed with some fab toppings. The crepe itself is a good thickness and texture. Note: Almost impossible to substitute an ingredient from one of their menu items I got the famous crepe and my dining partner got the s'mores one with marshmallow and chocolate. Quick little takeout place and the service was fast. The ambiance is no frills as you walk in and place an order. We ordered two strawberry Nutella crêpes. They put so much Nutella that it overpowered the crêpe and made it nasty to eat. I wish the Nutella would've been more subtle so that I can enjoy my crêpe better. Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! I left Times Square to visit this small business in the rain. The $19 crepe was decent.
