The Top Gun Latte is worth the trip. It was perfectly sweet without being too sweet. The Top Gun was better than the other lattes we ordered. Everyone was really friendly and the location is cozy. A lot of people enjoy Black Bear, so be prepared for a wait and limited parking.

Good tasting coffee here in this small town! Latte are medium roasted but you still get that bold flavor

This place is amazing! When visiting Clouscroft, I had it two days in a row. The first time I got a Polar Bear iced latte, which is a white mocha with peppermint, and vanilla; AHHH-MAZING!!! The second day I got a Hot Shot Iced Latte, which has vanilla bean, oak barrel (yes, you read that correctly), and caramel drizzle; so so SO good and different! I can't wait to visit again!

So fabulous from the coffee to the decor. What a find! I had a lightly sweetened White Bear and my husband had an Americano. They have fun, quality t-shirts and reusable water bottles and 1-lb bags of coffee beans for sale.

I stopped in here for a jolt of java before our hike around the Osha trail. I walked in late Sunday morning, just before the big rush that created a long line. My friend was getting impatient, but got her coffee. I ordered a Mountain latte with almond milk since the shop was out of skim milk. The drink tasted surprisingly smooth. This is a small place across from the Baptist Church on Burro street, and seating is limited. Even the outdoor seating is limited to one table and two chairs. We were a group of three. Free wifi, too. Just ask for the password. No dogs allowed inside except service dogs. It was National Coffee Day, and all coffee drinks were an additional 15% off.

This place been stablished for the past four years. It was our first time visiting this coffee shop. Not our first time in Cloudcroft the owner and the staff are very friendly. The coffee is delicious! The have outside seating in front of the coffee shop. Small table with two chairs. They have a very original coffee menu, with the coolest names. From Lavender lattes, specialty Mochas much more. We definitely be back! I wish I had taken more pictures.

Had the best time in Cloud Croft and we ended the trip with a Black Bear Coffee, followed by Devil's shoulder hike. I had the lavender latte and it was delicious! Such nice people and such great vibes. Coming again soon!

Excellent coffee for the drive back home. Fast curb side service! I got a Lavender Latte as a treat, it was very good. I would have liked to peruse the gift items but the shop appeared to be closed (because of COVID).

Cute little coffee shop and friendly staff. Coffee was good but $3.79 for a small black coffee is a little steep.

Great food, great service and just a lot of fun people doing karaoke in the back room. We came on a busy night and we had to wait for 20-30 minutes. During that time I hung up by the fire outside and met some great people. Seems like people come back here every year, cloudcroft is a destination where families meet up during the holidays. Not a great place if you're planning on having a couple beers and driving back to town, it's on a twisted mountain road. The workers are all local, they can definitely give some good advice on nearby activities like hiking and where to get a great view of the sunrise.

We had Coreys Fav and the Sweet and Spicy, both were really great. Flavors are good and the crust is nice. Seating wasn't bad, weather was great for a late June day, the large doors were open in the seating area, a nice breeze blowing. ... some really nice ambience. Where this goes horribly south is the LARGE automatic gratuity that they decided to impose on us because we had 7 adults and 1 infant at the same table, even tho we came in 3 separate groups and paid as 3 separate groups. 20% they wanted to charge us, not the state define 15%. Both of which I think is both unethical and not right in any way, as a gratuity is supposed to be based on the level of service received and not as an automatic supplement because the business doesn't want to pay the employees adequate wages. The service we received WAS NOT worth anywhere near even the 15% the state recommends. The server takes the order, and delivers the order, the same as any fast food chain. We had to get our own water and drinks. They don't stop to ask if we want anything else, refills, more cider/beer, desert, NOTHING! Yet they want to auto bill a gratuity of 20% for services that are NOT rendered. We did talk to the server, and he said that's how it was and there was nothing he could do. So we asked for the manager. She finally came and said she could remove it but it would take a while. However, all she did was provide a discount to lower the price to "compensate" for the gratuity, which wasn't a total discount, as it was still 88 cents more than the original bill, AND the auto gratuity was still in the bill! Ok, guess who didn't get any extra tips. So this server got his normal hourly rate, we were there roughly an hour, as well as an additional $30 + in auto gratuity to simply take an order and have someone else deliver it, he did absolutely nothing else for us to earn that level of gratuity. Keep in mind, we were NOT a group of 8 as the small print on the menu states. This was very aggravating and very unprofessional.

I first visited in 2021 during the height of Covid when all restaurants were struggling trying to figure out how to survive. Mind you, it's cold up in higher elevations of the mountains. Tent's and tables were placed outside on limited parking lot. Rather than cook, I told the BF, we have to eat out and help support the community. Not a-lot to choose from in a small town either and I'd been eyeing Big Daddy's for some time. It was a no brainier when I saw the tents, where I was going. It was a little chilly, but darn it, they were trying to survive so I could suck it up. Ordered chicken fried chicken and it was great. Nice and crisp. Fast forward to 2024 and visiting the town i told myself. Been in town several other times and i have yet to see the inside of Big Daddy's so this is where we are going since the White Sands balloon fest was canceled. No eating down in Alamogordo going back up the mtn. to support the the town. Not sure what I was expecting but it was both table & booth, seat yourself with another side section where you can bring your pup. Staff are very nice and willing to accommodate. Don't see that in the big city! Went bold and ordered enchiladas, daughter ordered breakfast (after brkfst hrs), son ordered fried chicken sandwich and BF ordered huevos rancheros. ALL looked & tasted yummy and cook was nice in allowing us to order pancakes still. Even asked if we wanted bacon!!! YES PLEASE! (And bigger tip is in order) Wasn't sure on my enchiladas but I was pleasantly surprised but only ate a little. (Practicing portion control :/). Others scarfed food down:) oh the enchiladas were not going to waste. These babies are traveling with me, as I text, back to Austin Tx. Long story long... go eat there. Their food is as good as big city food but small town feel Big Daddy's, we will be back. You can count on that! Thks for a wonderful experience. Oh we were so excited that the cook allowed the breakfast order. I totally forgot to take my customary pics
