This shop is a fabulous and friendly gem! I walked in looking far from my best, quite unpleasant. Me and my husband had been getting things together for a big move the past couple days. Regardless, two ladies both welcomed me in and even offered a sparkling water. I appreciated this so much. Didn't feel judged at all as I walked through, they value everyone. The owner Richelle kindly introduced herself and lovingly motioned me over to a spot in her shop to cool down! We had a thoughtful conversation together by the fans; she is a very caring lady with a warm spirit. Her shop has all sorts of cute gift items, jewelry, home decor, clothing, and more. This is a hella cute knick-knack store located in downtown Renton. Very friendly owner! She was very welcoming without being too chatty and just let me do my thing, so yay for that! Tons of really cute home décor things along with a good amount of jewelry and things that just beg to be on a work desk. As is a sign of the times, they also have a bunch of very festive masks here! I've window shopped here many times before and it seems like the selection rotates frequently enough that it's worth going back for new things occasionally. Really liked the inside of the shop, pretty eclectic yet it has a brief sense of organization and it's not overly cluttered. If you're the type that loves knick-knacks this shop is definitely worth checking out! read more

This boutique is so sweet! We came in this morning to explore, and I found the cutest puzzle :) The shopkeeper is so lovely and nice to talk to, and she had wonderful recommendations. This store is having an identity crisis, if you ask me. I made the trip out here because I was told by a friend it was a RECOVERY shop that specializes in meaningful sobriety gifts. There wasn't much of a recovery/spiritual influence except for the rare knick knack here or there that said "one day at a time," but it was overpowered by cliché quotes for wine lovers, "Rosé all day" and plenty of well meaning references to booze. Oh well. I appreciated the assortment of eclectic gifts here, and felt good supporting a small mom&pop business. It was a mashup of different cutesy things- jewelry, scarves and hats, candles, wall art and what not, and I suspect I'd find a new selection of goods each time, which is awesome! I'll come back next time I'm looking for girly sparkly gifts. read more

Walk in and BAM...blown away. Sweetly greeted by the kindest owner EVER, Richelle. My daughter and I had a sweet mother/daugther shopping evening while little sister was down the street at dance. We were offered sparkling water and so kindly greeted. This place has everything and the design is gorgeous. They also have things for the "office gift" or your special occasion at a small business. I have been in four times and was able to find what I was looking for in order to get that special someone a gift as well as a card for a special date. I like the good smell inside of the shop it is not overpowering but seems to be relaxing and pervasive. Very pleasant without any hold your breath moments like some stores or the mall. This store is a treasure to find in downtown Renton. I always find something I didn't know I was looking for! The name is the most appropriate name for the place but one doesn't really understand until you've been there. Everything is reasonably priced and what adds to the experience is the customer service, especially if the owner, Richelle, is in the store. The other posts have mentioned it but when my very inquisitive 7yr old daughter asked why the store is named, "Sparkle", the friend at the counter said that it is who Richelle is - inside and out. In the few times I have talked with Richelle in the store, I have found that also to be true. Sparkle is such a fun adventure to go to! Each time I go there are seasonal and different little gifts and trinkets. If I want to browse or get away I actually make a special trip down to this store and just roam for hours.
