My stove top turned out to have very challenging issues. Travis looked at it and thought it may be a broken part. He ordered it, installed it all with no luck. He looked at it some more, made some inquiries and thought it may be another part. Ordered it again and while waiting my dishwasher decided to die. I called him and told him what was going on. He made some suggestions which I appreciated, but it did not fix the problem. When Travis came back to my house with the part to fix my gas stove, he also looked at my dishwasher at my request. Turned out it needed a new control panel. Even though Travis had to come to my house anyway, to fix the gas stove, he did end up charging me a full service charge to look at the dishwasher. After he looked at my dishwasher, he put in the new part for the gas stove and it still made the same clicking sound when the burner was turned on. Travis apologized profusely and I know he was frustrated. I of course was not thrilled paying all of that money and it still not working. He ended up cleaning these small parts where it turned out was the problem after all due to being clogged up and poof, the front burners worked. I was so thankful and told him, " I don't care what you needed to do to fix it, I am just thankful it is fixed" I assured him I was happy since he almost walked out the door with the stove still having the same issues. Travis noticed I had a Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer and told me to make sure and clean that once a year. I told him, I had no clue how to do that, and he was nice enough to show me, clean it for me at no cost whatsoever. I thought that was pretty cool. I think Travis has the do what it takes kind of attitude to get the job done, even with difficult jobs such as the one I had.

i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

Spent $800 on a top of the line dishwasher. When appliance installer came to install the new one, he took out the old one and found that the problem was a clogged drain, should have been cleaned out by the first people and would have solved the problem without the expense of a new machine. When I called repair company told me, "That happens," and gave me a hard time about refunding the money.

There were a few items that the price point was a bit questionable but I guess the rule of thumb with resale store is "its cheaper than retail" - still definitely several points of sticker shock. But, no matter where you go now the days of finding the "deal" for dirt cheap are long gone. I was happy with $1.99 ornaments and 50% off Halloween decor. He was very rough trying to get the lower drawers out of our fridge, Marring the interior of our top of the line Kitchen aid. Not to mention he was much more expensive than another repair we had used this same company for which took much much more time and more parts. we were happy with the care and cost of the previous repair (done by an actual appliance ER employee). Trying to get a fix is like pulling teeth and even when getting insurance information for a claim we are getting incorrect information and "not enough" or not correct information per the insurance company. Several months later I give up and am writing reviews of our bad experience. With all of this said, make sure you have documentation of your condition of appliance before time and ask for an estimate ahead of time being that apparently it can vary WILDLY!
