Black Diamond is the real deal. In a market saturated with semi-professional limo companies that are overpriced, not punctual, not professional, and at times simply don't show up - Black Diamond is the exact opposite. Serge showed up earlier than anticipated to pick me and my family up from LAX, met us at arrivals, was very well dressed and immediately assisted us with luggage for a smooth 1 hour ride in a new, ultra clean black SUV. We had a baby and he was super accommodating and kind with our 5 month old - that interaction alone warrants us using them again! LouLou was extremely professional and responsive in communication leading up to the flight - tracking our flight and having no issue rescheduling when we missed a connection in Europe. Never once had we the need to discuss grace periods, refunds, credits - all the things I feel other companies do that take away from an "executive" experience. This company used a common bait and switch tactic on me. After sending a request for a quote and describing that it was for a drop-off at LAX and subsequent pickup after return flight, Loubna quoted a flat discounted fee of $159 (see screenshot below). After I accepted, she sent a written quote for more than double that fee. All the other vendors understood that my request was for a round-trip and quoted a fee accordingly. When I expressed my displeasure, she tried to convince me that she had actually quoted one way to me. But there is no reference to any conditions or terms other than a quote for the two-way service which I requested. read more
