We used to utilize In Style Transportation for every trip and always appreciated their punctuality. However our last drive to the airport was unsettling to say the least. Our driver, John, was revealing identities and residence locations of other clients within the company as though it were casual conversation on the drive. We were uncomfortable hearing private information including locations of other clients and tried to redirect the conversation. John repeatedly cut us off while talking, multiple times, to continue discussing details about other clients of the company. He also told us we caught him on a good day and that was why he was carrying our luggage out of the vehicle and off the curb. John was casually disrespectful by interrupting our private conversation as well only to discuss what was interesting to him, and even when we responded, he ignored us and continued talking in a manner than seemed only to amuse himself. A quiet and professional drive is what we had hoped for. John's insistence about revealing other clients' identities among other details, along with being very casual to interrupt our private discussions with random thoughts that would come into his head made us feel differently about In Style. We asked for a supervisor to call us to discuss our ride, but we were never contacted. Steven our driver back from the airport, on the other hand, was very professional and courteous. read more

Here's my experience : I had guests flying in from London. Throughout the day. I got updates from Instyle about the pick up. Then the call - nobody showed up. I called Instyle and after a long hold was told they thought the flight had been cancelled - which it obviously was not. Instyle was more focused on explaining what happened rather than owning that they screwed up and getting this disaster resolved. It was just fortunate that they had a driver in the vicinity who they redirected. My point is this: at no point did this company double check with me whether the flight had actually been cancelled- which it hadn't. Here's my advice, for what it's worth: do NOT use this company. We were able to schedule two pickups on the way to the airport and two drop offs returning from the airport (very minimal extra charge). This made it very convenient, so we didn't have to schedule two separate cars. Both times, they provided a vehicle large enough for our traveling family and all our luggage. In Style made our trip to Disneyland so easy! My son was traveling with a school group and had to be dropped off and picked up at a different hotel than where the rest of the family was staying. My family and I recently used In Style for rides to and from LAX around the holidays, and we couldn't have been more impressed with their services. First off, the email and text communication was prompt and informative - all the information you could possibly need regarding your reservation was available. They text you a reminder the day before your reservation, then another when your driver is en route. Ronnie brought us to the airport and John brought us home. Both drivers took pride in their work. This review is far overdue but I wanted to give a shout out to Mike and the team at In Style Transportation for going above and beyond in what amounted to saving my trip to the East Coast!! Our family has been using ISLIMO for close to 15 years and the service is ALWAYS top notch. Drivers are on time, price is fair, cars are beautiful - everything you would expect from a car service and more. I have registered on their website, which is super easy to use and navigate so I can create my bookings and trips easily without having to call so it is extremely convenient. You also get several emails to confirm your trip details and keep you updated. I also get text messages as the date of travel gets closer to keep me updated with details and driver status. Communication is EXCELLENT. On this particular occasion, I booked online as I always do, but somehow put the pick up address in wrong - no idea how I did it, but I really got it wrong - by like 50 miles! I had the pick up in East LA when I live in the OC. I also had that as my drop off address on our return trip. I have never had a single issue with ISLIMO so I didn't bother to check any of the multiple confirmation emails, totally my fault and mistake. Well, on the day of pick up, I got a text saying the driver was in front waiting - I look and of course no driver. I text him the address to confirm and that is when we discovered the error I made. Well, I figured we are in big trouble and going to miss our flight and had no idea what we were going to do. Within a minute I received a call from Mike, the owner, and he was extremely kind about the situation. He said "I think I can get a car there and get you to LAX in time". I was shocked! The driver re-routed, go to us and got us to the Airport in record time without any speeding or crazy driving. I just love this company and all of the employees - it is the kind of service that delivers a top notch experience, and what Mike did was above and beyond. I booked a ride from Orange County Airport to my home in Mission Viejo for a flight that was scheduled to get in at 10:30 PM. The flight was delayed 11 hours due to the crew not being available. I managed to change my flight landing at LAX instead at 11:49 PM. I called In Style Transportation, and they were able to accommodate the change. The flight ended up being half an hour late due to more crew issues. Our driver, Mike, had great communication with me as soon as I landed. Our bags ended up being delivered to the the wrong carousel, delaying us more. When we were finally ready to be picked up curbside at 1AM, Mike was only a minute away. Pickup was a breeze, and we were home in no time. Through all the delays and travel changes, In Style Transportation never changed extra.
