First and foremost, I was greeted immediately, but not greeted like the typical used car salesman that follows you around the store. I met Sue, who was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about the pieces in their showroom. I immediately knew I was in the right place, as there was nothing in that store that I did not like. This comes from a picky person. I was in awe of the beautifully crafted and modern furniture. I wanted one of each! Alas, I took one look at a price tag and gasped! They are a bit on the high end, but SO IS THEIR FURNITURE! It far surpasses any furniture store I have ever visited. I spoke to Sue about my needs and she listened intently; a virtue many salesmen lack (me included!). When Sue took me to the back of the showroom and introduced me to the Ekornes line, I KNEW she cared! I was sold at that moment. You see, I have had major back pain that basically runs my life. Sue explained how these recliners are focused on the lumbar spine and actually give it relief. She was absolutely right. I sat on a chair and reclined ... I almost fell asleep. Needless to say I purchased one knowing that it was well worth every penny since my health comes first. The furniture is made in Norway so after choosing the color I liked, I paid a deposit and left. I was so excited about the cool color I chose that I completely forgot that it wouldn't go with anything I owned. I called back and Sue was with a customer. However, Rosa said she would be happy to assist me. She was very kind, and it was obvious these ladies work as a team for the benefit of the owner. Rosa actually took pictures of the different colors and sent them to me so I could choose. Since then, I have mostly dealt with Rosa, who takes me as seriously as if I were one of her own clients. I am incredibly grateful to these ladies for their hard work and their sincerity. THAT is what keeps a business successful. People who listen and people who CARE! Thank you to the owners of Bova, who recognize it's the people; not the pieces of gorgeous furniture, that will continue to lead them to success. I have passed this place several times on my way to Cumming but never stopped. They have always…read morecarried very large garden structures that seemed to be more appropriate for commercial properties and large courtyards. I did decide to stop by and check out their selection of garden planters because I want something very specific. They appear to be going out of business because there is a giant "FOR LEASE" sign prominently displayed and all items are 50% off. If you are looking for tall ceramic planters, (which can be difficult to find), in bold and mixed colors, you may want to check them out. Yes, they had some nice pieces but the specific set of planters that I wanted was not in my landscape colors. As far as I'm concerned the 50% off just put them at fair market value and the real sale will come once they are marked to 70% off. I love a good deal but I am not inclined to purchase "final sale" items unless they are phenomenally priced. Once you purchase the items, If you don't like how they fit in your landscape, you will have to find a way to make them work into other areas. I decided that I would prefer to purchase where I can exchange or return if necessary because I am inclined to change my mind at times due to size and color. If you are comfortable with paying a little more for a FINAL purchase, then go for it! In addition to planters, they have beautiful garden accents like fountains and unique water features. Many of these are in marble and are very heavy. The base of one of the smaller ones was estimated at 650 pounds! No thanks, I need to stick with something that is a bit more portable and I prefer the look of wrought iron because it will not reflect dirt like stone. Again many of these pieces would be appropriate for commercial use or grand estates. On the other side of the main drive, you will find additional sculptures, (many Asian inspired pieces such as dragons and Buddha) as well as lions, angels and more. It is an interesting place and if you like it big, bold and interesting you will feel right at home.
