A dealer in Wyoming took it apart because of valve train noise, but found nothing wrong. Dakota V-Twin put it back together for us, fixed the noise it was originally torn down to find, and charged us one third of the dealer's quote even though their tech worked on it until 9:30 on Sunday night to finish it so my wife could ride the Black Hills! Eric was dispatched to my campground and changed it out. I had three tires changed out because they only had three instead of four left. During my conversation with Eric, he educated me on the cause of my blowout which was the longer valve stems i purchased before my trip from LA to Sturgis. Eric also educated me on various issues that will cause wear and tear on RVs. RVs are a different animal and the utmost care must be maintained to make your rig tires last. Eric has a great deal of experience and product knowledge. He is a valuable asset to your company and in my opinion, he should be promoted since he has your best business interest. Kudos to Eric!

I did not have to wait long for the service, and I was, in my estimation, charged fairly. About two weeks later, my wife was driving the vehicle and the power steering goes out on the car, and we took it back to Auto Pro's. The serpentine belt had broken, and we were, in my estimation, overcharged for the service. However, I never questioned, until later, the premise of them charging me. About two weeks later, I drove my vehicle to another mechanic on a Saturday morning to get spark plugs replaced. (Auto Pro's is not open on Saturday, which is understandable, of course.) The mechanic never did this work, though, because he noticed that my serpentine belt was almost completely gone from the vehicle. So, evidently, Auto Pro's put the belt on improperly, for the tensioner was not re-adjusted properly after they changed out the timing belt. I took the vehicle back to Auto Pro's, and they redid the work without charging me. Fast forward another two weeks, and the vehicle's power steering again stops working, and we check under the hood and notice the serpentine belt has broken...again! I should have taken the vehicle back to Auto Pro's so they could do the work for free, but I was fed up with their incompetence, so I took it to the other mechanic. It took him two tries to undo the terrible job that Auto Pro's did, and he charged me a very modest sum to do the work. I tried to get Auto Pro's to reimburse me for the bill, but, of course, they did not. And as I reflect back on my experience, I realize that Auto Pro's should never have charged me for the serpentine belt the first time I came to get a new one, for its breaking was obviously connected to their shoddy work on changing the timing chain. Alongside Auto Pro's incompetence was its terrible customer service, for I received no apologies for their mistakes. So, the long and the short of my story is this: don't take your vehicle to this establishment.
