Their website brags that they wash their own units because you're on vacation but God forbid bring one back muddy and they'll charge you an extra $200. Run don't walk to another business. We woke up and decided it would be fun to ride some trails through the black hills but had no idea if anyone would have availability. We called 3 places and this one had what we needed! We rented a quality side by side for the day for a very reasonable price! Before we left, they drew out a map of all the trails we could ride and suggested an app that would track our location. They had great tips for hikes along the way or pit stops to swim or eat. Super friendly and very knowledgeable! They provide an ice chest so you can take drinks or food with you. Yesterday, my fiancé and I rented a UTV to ride the Black Hills trails. We called the night before to see if they had anything available and Jarod was very accommodating and reserved us a UTV for the next morning. We rented a 2 seater for full day. Great staff they are so knowledgeable about the area and friendly . We didn't see much wildlife but truly enjoyed our day. The old mine is worth stopping at and burnout pizza (in red rooster bldg) in hill city for lunch. Their pizza is fabulous. Enjoy. We rented atv in November and we were so bundled up we were peeling off layers. The inside of atv stays warm because oif engine, plenty of storage. Machine is loud you may need ear plugs. Wow! Family run operation that was super friendly and smooth running. Great safety and they provided physical maps highlighted with different colored markers to designate off-road trails and paved roads. The GPS app made using our cell phone very easy to tell where we were. It's a smart and intuitive system that makes your experience fantastic. Vehicle ran great and we had a ton of fun really getting "out there" in South Dakota. You get to places you just can't see in any other kind of vehicle and it would take you countless hours to hike on foot. I highly recommend this family run business. When our 4 hour adventure was over, we left feeling we really accomplished something. We all took turns driving and fording the streams was a tons of fun with big splashes! I don't know if five stars is quite enough for these people or this business. We had a family of 20 (8 adults and 12 kids) rent SxS's for an 8 hour adventure and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They are very knowledgeable about the area and will give you a pretty detailed briefing about cool sites to see around the area before you head out. You have to sign a couple waivers (which is completely expected and understandable) but once that's complete and you've done a walk around of your vehicle, you're off to explore!!! They almost expect you to bring the vehicles back muddy (and they WILL be) but that's half the fun. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat and will go back to them if I'm ever visiting the Black Hills again. Another side note- we actually forgot a pair of binoculars in one of the UTV's and they sent us an email to let us know they found them. Great people!! One more thing.....this is NO fault of them but I'd recommend bringing earplugs with you when you ride. The machines get a little noisy after 8 hours of trail riding. Just FYI. read more

WARNING- TIRE SCAM! This is all in the "small print" that you never read, but their tire policy is bogus and could end up ruining your whole trip and pocketbook. We got a flat tire a little over halfway through our trip. Since we were not in cell range we had to wait for other riders to pass by to call for help for us once they reached cell service, as we were sent out on trails with no spare tire and no way to fix a flat. Countless other ATVs passed by and saw us with our two children stranded. They all commented that it was ridiculous that we were not given a spare or a way to air up the tire. We waited 2 hours for someone to arrive to change out the tire. When we arrived back at the rental office we were informed we would be charged 25 dollars for the "tire repair" which in this case was airing it back up. I politely said I disagreed to the charge because 2 hours of our trip was lost. They said it's in the contract and that it's just like a rental car. Rental cars at least come with a spare tire. I explained that we were not driving recklessly and had been taking it easy enough that the tire should not have lost air. They were smug and matter of fact and acted like they couldn't care less. The lady was almost bragging about how they have to charge customers for the whole tire if the tire is ruined and that the cost is so much that customers usually have to claim it on their auto insurance to pay for it. When the kid came out to change our tire he claimed flat tires happen DAILY to their ATVs and that he had just changed a tire yesterday on the same ATV we were driving. I would highly recommend another outfit for your ATV rental. All of your time lost waiting for help is on you. I spoke with another ATV outfit afterward and they claimed they would not have charged us for airing up a tire and they don't use cheap factory tires that are prone to going flat DAILY.. Cheap factory tires are convenient, easy money for them and nothing you can do about the fine print. Don't waste your time and money. read more
