    What an incredible place! The staff were so helpful and their expertise shined through our whole experience here. Allison welcomed us with great hospitality and immediately started setting us up as new clients in their system, sorting out our insurance and working with my partner's new prescription. (My partner hasn't had new lenses since 2018 and frames since 2013, and he just moved into the world of progressives -- oh, the joys for being over 40!) Aaron picked out great styles and colors for my partners face, including new and vintage frames for driving, reading/computer work, and sunglasses. Even though it's tough to find a good fit for my partner's head, Aaron came through and helped update his look. As my partner tried on each frame, Aaron even took pictures, so he could put his glasses back on to see what he actually looked like in them! So we updated my partners daily wear glasses- blue light protection, high index lenses. Got a new fun look of sunglasses that will go great with my partner's summer aloha shirts (and Miami Vice vibe). And then a pair of vintage silver frames (serial counted-who knew that was a thing?!) for driving with custom magnetic sun clips. (No progressives in those since he has an hour commute.) Aaron used a pupilometer to make sure the placement of the progressive areas of the lenses would be in just the right place. They also placed the frames and put dots so that they make sure to center his eyes in the lenses. Pandemic safety was in place. Everyone had mask on and hand sanitizer available. But Allison and Aaron were still friendly and provided great looks and conversation. We couldn't be happier with our experience and purchases here!

    Sorry to give this place a bad review but customer service sucks here. 1. Waited over two weeks for my Tom Ford prescription eye glass order. I'm -2.00, very basic Rx not sure why the extended wait. I called twice to check the status of my order after a week passed..Jared acted as if I was bothering him. 2. During the same visit asked one of the sales staff if they could buff the scratches out of my Tom Ford aviator sunglasses. I was told that's not possible but they could create new lenses instead. I agreed. Waited three weeks to receive my sunglasses back and the fools couldn't fit the new lenses in the sunglasses so some idiot glued the lenses on and if that's not bad enough glued them on unevenly. Jared suggested I select a new pair of sunglasses from their stock ..not Tom Ford so I declined. Finally Jared ordered a new pair from some vendor, not Neiman Marcus as I suggested. The new "Tom Ford" sunglasses have very dark brown lenses and not as transparent and ombré as the original. I wonder if they are fake?? See pic, bottom pair are originals with glued lenses..top pair are replacement sunglasses with darker lenses.

All I wanted was to find an eye doc and staff that would help and listen. Finding a pair of glasses has always been difficult for me. This experience started off hopeful, but after I got my glasses it went downhill! I paid a WHOLE LOT of money for a pair of glasses that have been nothing but trouble and are now causing my vision to be worse. Each time I went back for an adjustment and / or expressed my concerns / worries in regards to how the glasses were working out for me, it always ended with "give it a little longer". On my final visit I was told my glasses were no longer under warranty. OF COURSE NOT! Yes, I accept my part in not knowing the exact date my warranty expired, but as mentioned, when I would go in for assistance I was trusting the experts. It became harder for me to express my concerns as I was now starting to feel very much like a number and once they got my money my concerns were not important enough to be heard. This may not be the case for everyone, but was for me. If anyone knows of an eye doc and staff that truly want to help, please let me know.

If the eye doctor changes your prescription after you get the glasses, they will redo them free. Glasses came back promptly after ordered. Beware, however of two things. First, the optical area is ALWAYS understaffed for the number of customers, so expect to wait 30-60 minutes every time you visit. This means you will be helped by a staff person who is hurried and under pressure, with five or more people waiting for you to finish. They have no "line" or even "take a number" system, so you have no idea how long the line actually is. Second, every optical retailer I'm aware of is willing to exchange unopened boxes of contacts if your prescription changes. Not Costco! I purchased contacts in September of 2019. Dr. Steele changed my prescription in February of 2020. I had two boxes of contacts (approx $200) in the old prescription (with an expiration date on the box of 2024) and Costco refused to exchange them because my original contact prescription (NOT my purchase) was more than 12 months old. Happily, I found out 1800Contacts has prices that are better than Costco and they were willing to take back the contacts I purchased AT Costco(!) and fill my new prescription with that credit.....and they were far faster, friendlier, and competent. My advice is that the "savings" isn't worth the hassle, the lack of customer service, and the more restrictive approach to exchanges of contacts.

A very calming demeanor for an anxious person like myself. She answered all my questions, and she made sure to ask about my medical history and what meds I was taking to ensure I had and accurate, healthy eye exam. She keeps my off site and BJC medical doctors informed of my status. Her optic assistants were all great, thorough and professional. The office intake staff are professional and accommodating to patient needs. I would recommend COHEN ASSOCIATES if you want excellent care.
