I was looking forward to trying Overland Optical in Overland and although the staff was…read moreknowledgeable .... I will NOT be going back! All I wanted was to find an eye doc and staff that would help and listen. Finding a pair of glasses has always been difficult for me. This experience started off hopeful, but after I got my glasses it went downhill! I paid a WHOLE LOT of money for a pair of glasses that have been nothing but trouble and are now causing my vision to be worse. Each time I went back for an adjustment and / or expressed my concerns / worries in regards to how the glasses were working out for me, it always ended with "give it a little longer". On my final visit I was told my glasses were no longer under warranty. OF COURSE NOT! Yes, I accept my part in not knowing the exact date my warranty expired, but as mentioned, when I would go in for assistance I was trusting the experts. It became harder for me to express my concerns as I was now starting to feel very much like a number and once they got my money my concerns were not important enough to be heard. This may not be the case for everyone, but was for me. If anyone knows of an eye doc and staff that truly want to help, please let me know.

Always an enjoyable experience when we go there. The staff are amazing and very knowledgeable and…read morefriendly. We have been going here for the past few years and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Ok so let me start by saying I just turned 28 & this was my first eye exam since ... I don't even…read moreknow when, probably elementary school when they give you those free ones! (I know, I know, smh) BUT I never had any issues before so it never crossed my mind. WELL, I guess it all goes down hill after 27 because I started getting really bad headaches like every other day and I could start to feel my eyes straining while trying to watch tv or driving ... & then it just got worse from there. Soooo fast forward a couple months (probably shouldn't have waited as long as I did) I take the plunge and finally get an eye exam and was prescribed some glasses. Quite expensive since I don't have any vision insurance. (I did get Ralph Lauren frames though) but they were SO cute and I figured since they were my first pair it would be worth it. I was totally right. LOVE my glasses and I honestly can't imagine not wearing them now that I can see so clearly. I probably will go back to get contacts eventually. LensCrafters was awesome. I saw Dr. Cunningham and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. He made me feel very at ease and I had the greatest experience! Prices - $100 for eye exam (no insurance) Frames - $140 (for my bougie ass Ralph Lauren frames) & those were cheaper than most surprisingly. Prescription - about $200 w/ tax & fees (bullshit) BUT WORTH IT.

Beware of Bait-and-Switch Sales Tactics at This Location…read more THE SALE: We specifically requested premium Crizal HR coatings and XTRActive Polarized Transitions lenses that would darken while driving. THE "WAIT 3 MONTHS" TRAP: When the lenses didn't darken in the car, staff told us to give them three months because they would get darker over time. We followed their advice, which pushed us past the 30-day window. THE REVEAL: Within two months, the lenses were also severely scratched. When we later reviewed the order with LensCrafters, we discovered we had received neither the Crizal HR coating nor the XTRActive Polarized Transitions lenses we specifically requested and were told we were getting. THE BLAME: Management then told us we were past the 30-day return window, wanted about $1,400 for replacement lenses, and said we should have caught the abbreviated product descriptions on the receipt. You shouldn't need an optometry degree to decode a receipt and make sure the salesperson ordered what was requested and promised. This is about trust, and LensCrafters completely lost ours.

It was obvious that Dr. Cohen cared greatly about his patients and was willing to take the time to explain clearly answers to all my questions. I chose, in consultation with Dr. Cohen, the Light Adjustable Lenses, and they were exactly the right choice for me. He is very smart, knowledgeable about all the eye challenges I had, and has well trained staff to support him. A very calming demeanor for an anxious person like myself. She answered all my questions, and she made sure to ask about my medical history and what meds I was taking to ensure I had and accurate, healthy eye exam. She keeps my off site and BJC medical doctors informed of my status. Her optic assistants were all great, thorough and professional. The office intake staff are professional and accommodating to patient needs. I would recommend COHEN ASSOCIATES if you want excellent care.
