I have found so many treasures and great items here at this store--I even included some photos of my recent finds below! Unlike so many other thrift stores, this one actually has reasonable and sometimes even ridiculously low prices. I've found items such as great quality Lululemon clothing for under $10, and even recently found a Coach Bag for under $15. Additionally, the store is usually very organized--there are no piles of clothes on the floor or random items strewn around. Overall, this is one of my favorite thrift stores in Covina. Each section is separated towards a designated section, making it easy to browse. The ladies who work here are gentle and kind, always willing to assist you, if needed. This location is particularly organized, and has good selection. But today I was left disappointed... Not by cleaniness, nor quality of goods, but the poor customer service we received from two particular employees. I'd just had a wonderful shopping experience, and after filling our cart with many fine goods, we got in line for checkout. I completely understand being short-staffed, or having long lines. However, this was not the case. We were first in line, and a woman was being helped by a man named Gabriel. It seemed like she was having issues returning an item, okay, fine. It's not a big deal, and his was the only register open. I understand. Then, another employee comes over, who's name I did not catch, but she seemed to be the manager. Neither had a smile, and she seemed quite annoyed and irritated for having to deal with this woman. Now, it isn't my business, but her behavior was very off-putting to me. Now, I just want to check out and leave. But for at least five minutes, we were standing there, as the line behind us only continues to grow. Mind you, not once does any employee even acknowledge us, let alone apologize for the wait, while they do not open any registers. Finally, the manager called over another employee to help us. Natalie was so amazing and kind, even apologizing when no one else would. She had such a sweet soul, and beautiful smile. Meanwhile, I watched as Gabriel walked away, a vape in his hand. Which I believe is completely disgusting and unprofessional to have in his hand, out in the open at WORK. I don't care what people do on their break, but to have your vape while on the floor, is wildly inappropriate, and very likely ILLEGAL. I was absolutely disgusted with his and his manager's behavior, and attitude. This should be looked into, as it is not okay for a workplace environment. I only give four stars, because the store itself and Natalie were great. But again, everything else was completely unacceptable. Two stars for them.
