There was plenty of extra padding and carpet left over besides the full roll of padding still wrapped in plastic. Taylor Made management said we could sell it on Marketplace! As if we want to deal with that! They're the carpet store, they should be able to resell it much easier than us. How could an experienced carpet estimator be so far off? The job took ~2.5 days in the end it looked so great! He was able to work seamlessly around our windows, hanging shelf brackets, etc. He was also kind enough to come back and quick adjust the last row after we discovered it was slightly slanted. They tacked the carpet from the stairs right into the epoxy floor, sticks and sand stuck in the epoxy and other issues. Was told that the installer "was going through some things." We were given a discount based on the issues which we accepted. Flash forward 3 years when the floor is peeling up on the edges and in the corners and cracking in areas, I reach out to the owner. It took 4 months just to get him to come look at the issues. Then after 9 months of contacting him every few weeks to try to schedule repairs, he no longer responds. Lots of excuses at all turns.
