This was easily the worst experience I had considering all of the contractors involved over the last 18 months. It would be a 1 star review had they not at least came out almost a month later to somewhat improve initial rough work at the end of the process. Made it clear to the measurer and then the installer before work began that the area around the base of the stair railings needed to be right up to the edge as that would not be an area where we would be putting any trim. These are narrow hallway areas with expansion room on 3 other sides so no concerns of lack of expansion gap there. Also received the job order to sign off on and matching trim pieces were included which I requested not be ordered, but was told they were already ordered and could not be cancelled BEFORE I returned the signed order to proceed. Was told that I would be charged if any additional prep work was needed and turned out the subfloor was in great shape except for one area where it was a little high requiring the installer to splice in about a 10' x 2' piece of subfloor to level out. At the end of the install I was told this was 9 man hours of work and would be over $1,100 additional. I couldn't even imagine how that added up. Job could have been done in 2-3 days but 2 installers were here 4 days as they were only here 3.5-5 hours a day. Sent an email to Eric Langan who recently took over the company almost a week ago and no response. Really disappointed overall, but paid the full bill and learned a lesson I guess.

He said just throw some kitty litter on it and laughed. I ended the call. I purchased several jugs of driveway cleaner and spent several hours attempting to clean the oil spot that they made and have been unsuccessful. Carpetland, you are responsible to cleaning this spot on my driveway.

After tearing out 3 rooms, 1 closet and 1 hallway of wood flooring to fix a 3x6 area, my husband noticed there were humps in the flooring that were not there previously. After discussing the issue with Mike, he reassured us that sanding would get rid of these humps and bumps. Needless to say, the sander did not fix these issues (3 of them) and the company refused to remedy the problem, stating that they did the best they could...very unprofessional. $12,000 later, instead of 1 problem area, we now had 3. We stopped payment on our check in hopes that there was something to hold over them to fix all the problems they created. When they came here to do our quote, they went up on our roof, did measurements, wrote out the full quote and gave it to us on the spot. This was surprising because we've had 5 or 6 quotes on our roof in the past couple years, and Integrity was the only company that even went on the roof. Also, their quote was much more detailed than the rest. It made us feel like they actually wanted the job. A few days before they started, they dropped off the shingles (they put them all on the house roof & garage roof), and separately dropped off the big dumpster for their trash. The workers were at our house early on the day of the job, I think it was about 7am. This isn't a complaint, it's just a warning to those with young kids or third shifters -- once they're on the roof, it's gonna be LOUD 'til they're done. The workers were quick, efficient and courteous. Around noon a man from Integrity stopped over to see if the crew needed additional supplies from the store, asked us if we had any questions, and brought the crew lunch. He was friendly and helpful to the workers and to us. The full job was done around 4pm including clean up. I only found 4 or 5 nails that they missed -- not too shabby considering the enormous amount of trash a 2 layer tear-off and a new roof creates. A few days after the job was complete, the owner came over to inspect the crew's work, and he asked if we had any questions or issues. We were really impressed by this, because often it's after the workers leave that you realize you had a question or two. It's a little difficult parting with that much money, but it was well worth it. We had one of those houses where the shingles were curling and falling off. When I look at our house these days, I don't have that aching feeling that the next storm may be the start of leaks inside our home. Now we've got one of the snazziest roofs on the block. Every part of our experience with Integrity was excellent; we highly recommend their work.

And a couple of years ago I was looking for a very large circular rug, stopped in and talked to the floor person who suggested that I look in the remnants room. There I picked a carpet which they cut into a 12 ft diameter circle and finished the edges - all for $250! read more
